Ch. 341The substitution (Part one)

Teresa persuaded Obara and Nymeria to help her take control of Dorne and decide who would rule after Prince Doran. As the Sand Snakes held Prince Quentyn in Sunspear, Gary arrived and killed him, planning to use a Faceless Man Mask to replace him if necessary.

  • Teresa said she intended to act immediately and asked Obara and Nymeria to support her plan to control Dorne after Prince Doran's death.
  • Gary and his companions reached Sunspear as the city was sealed, with Prince Doran hidden in a sack and the harbor under guard.
  • Teresa and the older Sand Snakes held Prince Quentyn in the Throne Room, while fire-wielding companions kept the soldiers outside at bay.
  • Gary entered the Throne Room, learned Quentyn had refused to swear allegiance, and beheaded him before leaving to obtain a Faceless Man Mask.
  • Teresa told Obara and Nymeria that the feared stranger was King Luke Stark.

Ch. 342The journey to Dorne (Part two)

Gary forced Trystane Martell to accept his plan to control Dorne, then installed lookalikes to impersonate Doran, Quentyn, and Trystane. At Skyreach, Garlan Tyrell waited for Luke Stark, who arrived in the form of an Ice Giant attacking the castle.

  • Gary threatened to kill Trystane and replace him with masked impostors, and Trystane agreed in exchange for a chance to see Myrcella.
  • Obara and Nymeria brought Gary three servants whose builds resembled the Martell princes, and Gary ordered them trained to act like princes.
  • Prince Doran appeared in Sunspear and blamed the palace crisis on an Ironborn assassin and Quentyn's collusion; Quentyn was imprisoned, and Doran later transferred power to Trystane.
  • Arianne confronted Garlan Tyrell at Skyreach, and Garlan said he was using her as bait to kill Luke Stark.
  • An Ice Giant wielding two ice blades broke through Skyreach's gates and attacked the soldiers, and Arianne recognized Luke Stark's magic.

Ch. 343The Warrior

Daenerys and Gary attacked Arianne, but Garlan survived Daenerys’s strike and brought down the castle, leaving Arianne buried in the ruins. Gary lost his White Walker hand in a dragonglass attack, and Garlan confronted him and Daenerys as the Warrior of the Seven.

  • Daenerys attacked Garlan and Arianne, but Garlan recovered from his cauterized wound and struck her through the castle walls.
  • Gary’s Ice Giants destroyed the castle’s foundation and carried the wounded Daenerys away, burying Arianne and Garlan beneath the collapse.
  • Garlan hurled a dragonglass greatsword at Gary, shattering an Ice Giant’s crown and Gary’s White Walker hand.
  • Gary healed Daenerys and tried to restore his left hand, only to discover it had become human and that he could no longer use Ice Magic.
  • Garlan confronted Gary and Daenerys, disarmed Gary’s attack with his bare hand, knocked both of them back, and declared himself the Warrior of the Seven.

Ch. 344The strongest of the Seven

Gary and Daenerys fought Garlan, the Warrior of the Seven, but his strength and rapid healing overwhelmed them. After Garlan caught them during their retreat, he demanded the Primal Stone and threatened to kill them both.

  • Gary healed his ribs and fought Garlan alongside Daenerys, who discovered that Garlan could restore his severed head and heal his wounds with water.
  • Garlan revealed his mastery of fire, transformed the battlefield with magma, and pressed Gary and Daenerys with his immense strength.
  • Gary noticed that a patch of clear water on Garlan’s body was healing him, and Daenerys identified it on his chest as the newly born Maiden of the Seven.
  • Gary severed Garlan’s arm with Falling Plum, then fled with Daenerys and said they needed to find Tysha and Teresa to defeat the Warrior.
  • Garlan hurled his sword through Gary and Daenerys, caught up with them, knocked Daenerys aside, and seized Gary while demanding the Primal Stone.

Ch. 345Divine Body

Aolixilade rescued Gary from Garlan and consumed the newly born Maiden, while the Stranger betrayed Garlan and stole the Warrior’s divine power. Aolixilade planned to hide the Divine Body in Gary’s left eye and release Nawija to challenge R’hllor, then caught up with Gary and Daenerys as they fled.

  • Aolixilade appeared, tore off Garlan’s arm, and consumed the Maiden that had been hidden in his chest.
  • Gary left to treat Daenerys, while Aolixilade told Garlan that someone else had already targeted him.
  • The Stranger emerged from Garlan’s shadow, revealed his alliance with Aolixilade, and drained the Warrior’s divine power until Garlan crumbled to dust.
  • Aolixilade and the Stranger planned to keep the Divine Body hidden in Gary’s left eye and use Nawija to oppose R’hllor.
  • Gary and Daenerys slipped away, but Aolixilade found them and ran alongside them, saying they could not escape her mark.

Ch. 346Sacrificing one for another (Part two)

Aolixilade told Gary that hatching the Primal Stone required sacrificing the Cold God, while warning that R'hllor would soon descend on Westeros. At the Wall, Jon Stark learned that the White Walkers were approaching and set out with Meera Reed and Jojen Reed to find the Three-Eyed Crow; in Dorne, Trystane became prince and gave the Sand Snakes command of a powerful force.

  • Aolixilade healed herself with Gary's Primal Stone Energy and explained that a god, likely the Cold God, had to be sacrificed to hatch the Primal Stone.
  • Aolixilade warned Gary that winter was coming and that neither she nor the Stranger could defeat R'hllor without his help.
  • Meera Reed and Jojen Reed arrived at Castle Black, where Jojen warned Jon Stark that the White Walkers' attack was near.
  • The Three-Eyed Crow showed Jon Stark the approaching army of wights and revealed that the Wall's protective runes would fail if the Old Gods died.
  • Jon Stark left beyond the Wall with Meera Reed, Jojen Reed, and twenty Rangers to meet the Three-Eyed Crow, while sending a raven to Luke Stark for support.
  • After Arianne died and Doran died of illness, Trystane inherited Dorne, sought an alliance with the Iron Throne, and gave the Sand Snakes command of five thousand soldiers.

Ch. 347Winter Is Coming (I)

Gary returned to King's Landing, then led an elite force north to support the Wall against the White Walkers and the coming Long Night. At Castle Black, he learned Jon Stark had gone beyond the Wall toward the Frostfangs and feared the Three-Eyed Crow was involved.

  • Trystane bid farewell to Myrcella, while Myrcella told Jaime she had repeated his words and Jaime instructed her to write Trystane another letter after they returned to King's Landing.
  • Gary discussed the Long Night with Daenerys and decided they had to hurry north to support the North against the White Walkers and the Cold God.
  • After reaching King's Landing, Gary summoned the Small Council and chose an elite force for the northern campaign, leaving Rhaegal and Viserion with Margaery to defend the Crownlands.
  • Gary's army marched north, and Bran answered Jon's plea for aid by telling him the king had already set out.
  • Gary reached Castle Black and discovered from Ygritte that Jon Stark had taken two members of House Reed beyond the Wall toward the Frostfangs, leaving Gary furious and worried about the Three-Eyed Crow.

Ch. 348Winter Is Coming (II)

A dragon-winged girl destroyed the Three-Eyed Crow and the greenseer, while Jon abandoned his mission as wights closed in. The Wall collapsed, and Gary began evacuations and preparations for the White Walkers as he waited for Jon and the Children of the Forest.

  • A black-cloaked girl claiming to act for Luke Stark drove Leaf, Green Grass, and Wind Spirit from the Three-Eyed Crow's cave, then burned the weirwood and the old man attached to it.
  • Jojen lost the Three-Eyed Crow's guidance as Jon's small force struggled through wights, so Jon ordered a retreat to the Wall.
  • The Children of the Forest left the cave and followed Jon's retreating troops toward the Wall.
  • Gary evacuated Castle Black after ice began falling from the Wall, which soon collapsed and killed Night's Watch members at other castles.
  • Gary ordered the evacuation of settlements north of Winterfell, sent the wildlings to defend the Wolfswood, and told Daenerys to return to Winterfell while he waited for Jon and the others.

Ch. 349The Wall's lament

After the Wall was destroyed, Gary prepared to retreat to Winterfell with Jon and the Children of the Forest while trying to understand who had caused the collapse. In the south, Aegon VI allied with the Red God Temple, and displaced clergy of the Faith of the Seven considered seeking support from the King in the North.

  • Teresa told Gary that Nawija, the Cold God, survived through sacrifices and that R'hllor was the only one who knew how Nawija came to be.
  • Jon and the Reed siblings found Gary at Castle Black, where he learned that Leaf and her companions suspected a Fire Wizard might have been involved in the Wall's destruction.
  • Gary led Jon, the Reed siblings, and the three Children of the Forest south toward Winterfell.
  • Aegon VI welcomed Benerro and the Red God Temple's priests, accepted their demands to establish R'hllor's worship in Westeros, and secured their help against King's Landing and its two Dragons.
  • After the Faith of the Seven was expelled from the Stormlands, its leader proposed approaching the King in the North because they shared enemies.

Ch. 350The Seven

Gary prepared Winterfell for the wight army’s arrival while Daenerys led evacuees south, but only fifty thousand people reached safety before the enemy was expected after sunset. As the forces assembled for battle, three apparent Lannister envoys arrived from King's Landing, leaving Gary questioning why they had come from House Lannister rather than the Westerlands.

  • Teresa told Gary that the wight army would reach the ruins of the Wall in three days and that they could not build another Wall.
  • Gary ordered weapons and wildfire prepared, then sent Daenerys and Bingling to drive the eighty thousand evacuees south without diverting the dragons from the coming battle.
  • After three days, Daenerys reported that fifty thousand people had reached safety and that the wight army would arrive at Winterfell after sunset.
  • Gary inspected Winterfell’s assembled forces, including the Holy Fire Tribunal inquisitors, Dragon Cavalry, Giants Cavalry, and the castle troops.
  • Three envoys bearing Lannister sigils arrived from King's Landing, and Gary asked whether they had come from the Westerlands.

Ch. 351Winter Is Coming (III)

The Seven offered Gary the Westerlands and their aid against the Cold God in exchange for primal stone energy, then joined Winterfell’s defense as the wights advanced. The Holy Fire Tribunal exposed the White Walkers’ positions and opened fire from the northern wall.

  • The Father, the Mother, and the Smith offered Gary the Westerlands and help against the Cold God in exchange for primal stone energy, and Gary agreed to share it after the threat was driven back.
  • The Smith blessed the soldiers’ weapons, while the Mother left Jenna Lannister’s body and sent shadow assassins against the wights.
  • The Father told Teresa he had planted the thought that led her to join the King in the North, and Teresa said she might have used that opportunity to escape his control.
  • The shadow assassins killed nearly ten thousand wights, but the White Walkers ordered the horde to bypass them and attack Winterfell.
  • The Holy Fire inquisitors used divine sight to locate the White Walkers, and Tysha ordered them to fire.

Ch. 352Winter Is Coming (IV)

Gary’s forces and the Seven overwhelmed the wights, but dragonglass bullets failed to kill the Night’s King. When Gary and Bingling confronted him, Aolixilade revealed an old feud with the phantom possessing him and offered to help it devour Westeros if it killed R’hllor.

  • Tysha ordered the Holy Fire Inquisitors to fire at the apparent Night’s King, but dragonglass bullets shattered his armor without killing him.
  • Gary’s cavalry fought the wights outside Winterfell while Daenerys and Bingling attacked from the air, and the Seven helped defend the castle.
  • Tysha told Gary that the Night’s King was on a hillside north of Winterfell and that dragonglass had no effect on him.
  • Gary summoned Bingling and rode with her to confront the Night’s King.
  • Aolixilade spoke with the phantom above the Night’s King, argued over the Primal Stone and their past, and offered to help it devour Westeros in exchange for killing R’hllor.
  • Bingling landed on the hillside and prepared to unleash dragonfire at the Night’s King.

Ch. 353Primal Stone

Gary tried to kill the Night's King, but Aolixilade intervened and the battle spread to Winterfell as the dragons turned on one another. Nawija abducted Gary into a dream and offered him a bargain, revealing that Primal Stone was the name of a Divine Body compatible only with her and R'hllor.

  • Gary attacked the Night's King, but Aolixilade stopped his strike and threw Falling Plum aside.
  • Bingling broke free and breathed Dragonfire at Aolixilade and the Night's King, while the White Dragon fought Bingling for control and Drogon attacked them.
  • Thirty-seven Wingless Dragons transformed and joined a battle above Winterfell, prompting Aolixilade to leave Gary and Daenerys and fight the Father.
  • Aolixilade discovered that Nawija had escaped with Gary and blocked the mark she had placed on him, then scorched the snowy ground in anger.
  • In a dream, Nawija offered to spare humanity if Gary surrendered Primal Stone and explained that it was a Divine Body only she and R'hllor could use.

Ch. 354Divine Body

Gary learned that the Divine Body could be destroyed by Aolixilade and heard Nawija's account of fate, the Sun, and the future changing around him. Nawija proposed exchanging consciousnesses so Gary could become the Cold God, while he considered whether fusing with the Divine Body might help him return to his original world.

  • Nawija explained that Aolixilade stole the Divine Body and that the gods fought her to stop her from destroying it.
  • Nawija revealed that Aolixilade could sacrifice her dragon body to destroy the Divine Body, though it would seal itself once a god occupied it.
  • Nawija told Gary that she had foreseen R'hllor claiming the Divine Body and killing them, but Gary's arrival had repeatedly changed the future.
  • Nawija proposed exchanging consciousnesses with Gary so he could become the Cold God and she could become the Sun, then admitted she planned to throw their fates into chaos.
  • Gary said he wanted to return to his original world, and Nawija suggested that fusing with the Divine Body might let him do so.
  • Nawija revealed that she had learned Gary's secrets by peering into his body while he borrowed her power through the White Walker arm.

Ch. 355True God

After Nawija tricked Gary into a pact, he awakened in the Night's King's body and transferred his power into Primal Stone, which created a female divine body for him. Gary revealed himself as King Luke to Alysanne Mormont and prepared to return to Winterfell, while Aolixilade investigated his corpse and Nawija's disappearance.

  • Nawija persuaded Gary to clasp her hand, pulling his consciousness from his body as she claimed the sun and left for another world.
  • Gary awoke as the Night's King, discovered his corpse and Primal Stone, froze the sea, and moved his energy into the crystal.
  • The Night's King attacked Primal Stone, but it released a naked infant who destroyed him and declared herself the Cold God and Supreme God.
  • The infant reached Bear Island, broke through House Mormont's gates, and realized that her divine body was female.
  • Gary identified himself to Alysanne Mormont as King Luke Stark and ordered her to prepare warhorses so he could return to Winterfell, saying the White Walkers and wights were gone.
  • Aolixilade found Gary's corpse and Primal Stone missing, then wondered whether Nawija had become a true god or died.

Ch. 356Side story (part one)

Nawija, the Cold God from Game of Thrones, awoke in Gary’s body with none of Gary’s memories and learned that Gary’s family had spent everything caring for him. After Nawija revealed his Ice Magic and healing ability to his cousin Li Luoluo, she hurried to get him discharged before the hospital could run more tests.

  • Nawija woke from Gary’s coma, claimed he had come from another world, and learned that Gary’s family had been notified.
  • Gary’s parents and cousin visited, and Nawija learned they had sold their home and car to pay for his treatment.
  • Nawija asked how to earn money and froze water in a cup, showing Li Luoluo that his Ice Magic was real.
  • Nawija cut his palm on the cracked cup, then watched the wound heal and remembered that he was human now.
  • Li Luoluo interrupted the doctor’s plan for tests and demanded that Gary be discharged immediately.
  • Li Luoluo pulled Gary’s worried parents aside at the end of the corridor.

Ch. 357Side story (part two)

After Nawija revealed his healing and ice-making powers, Li Luoluo and their families took him home and discussed how he could survive without exposing himself to doctors. Nawija said he needed followers to preserve his divine power, and his ice magic convinced both families to take their savings and move abroad.

  • Li Luoluo showed Gary's parents Nawija's healing ability, and they hurriedly discharged him from the hospital to keep doctors from examining him.
  • Gary's father carried Nawija home, where Li Luoluo looked after him while he watched television and later helped him use the bathroom.
  • At dinner, the families discussed how Nawija could earn a living, and he explained that he needed followers to keep his divine power from running out.
  • Nawija made water into a running ice deer and said he could freeze the entire residential complex, leaving the families impressed.
  • Li Luoluo's father called about transferring ownership of the supermarket, and a little over a month later the two families moved abroad with their savings.

Ch. 358Assigning divine offices

Gary returned to Winterfell and made Bingling the god of Dragons, giving her the ability to take human form. He and Bingling arrived at the city gates, where Daenerys learned that the transformed woman was Bingling and that Gary had returned as the Supreme God.

  • Daenerys asked the Father, Mother, and Smith to help rescue Gary, but the gods refused and returned to their statues.
  • Daenerys imprisoned the three Lannisters and prepared to lead Teresa and Melisandre north after resting.
  • Gary reached Bingling in the Wolfswood and granted her the divine office of god of Dragons, destroying her former consciousness and reshaping her body.
  • Bingling changed into a winged woman, and Gary gave her his cloak before they rode toward Winterfell.
  • Daenerys and Melisandre failed to recognize Gary and Bingling at the gates, but Bingling revealed herself and explained that Gary had made her a god.

Ch. 359Goddess

Gary granted divine stations to Teresa, Melisandre, and Daenerys in Winterfell, while another crown flew away. Across Westeros, dragons turned on their handlers and flew north, leaving Aegon VI injured and dependent on Benerro as he vowed to reclaim the Iron Throne with the Red God's help.

  • Gary granted Teresa the divine station of Sea Goddess, transforming her body, then gave Melisandre the station of Forest God and Daenerys the station of Goddess of Justice.
  • Margaery learned that two dragons had attacked Gold Cloaks and the Faith Militant in King's Landing, burned the godswood, and severely injured Jaime before flying away.
  • At Storm's End, Balerion bit off Aegon VI's hand, broke free of its collar, burned him, and flew north; Aegon VI killed the guards and officials in his fury.
  • Benerro saved Aegon VI from the dragonfire and later treated his burns, while Aegon VI promised to reward the Red God if they helped defeat House Stark's dragons and magic.

Ch. 360The Temple of Light

Gary learned from Nawija's memories that Aolixilade's body was sealed in the Temple of Light, and he brought the others there to retrieve it. The group found the body hidden as a mural, and Gary began to undo its seal while R'hllor was away.

  • Aolixilade searched the Lands of Always Winter for Nawija with help from her descendants.
  • Gary told Teresa, Melisandre, Daenerys, and Bingling that he needed to reclaim the other gods' energy and reorganize divine power.
  • Bingling said she could sense the dragons in the north, and Daenerys objected to killing them to stop Aolixilade.
  • Teresa proposed finding Aolixilade's body so Bingling could devour it and gain control over the dragons.
  • Gary revealed that Nawija's memories showed him the Temple of Light's location and transported the group there.
  • Gary identified Aolixilade's sealed body in a mural and reached out to undo the seal.
