Li Luo was born in an era when information about the Abyss was at its most developed.
Although the Abyss had descended many years ago, humanity's passion for exploring it had not faded. Through their continued exploration, people had learned much about the Abyss, and that enormous chasm was no longer a complete unknown to humanity.
This information was like a storm sweeping across the globe. Even without actively seeking it out, one could passively receive plenty of it.
Li Luo was the same. Though she spent most of her time shut inside her home, she could still receive this information.
The children passing by outside the wall would chatter and play, discussing which Relic was more powerful, arguing over what kind of Abyss Creature was strongest, and using their limited vocabulary to describe the Abyss's strange and treacherous nature as best they could.
Little Li Luo often leaned against the wall and listened to the noisy commotion outside. Sometimes, she could not help joining the discussion, but whenever the children heard an extra voice suddenly appear, they would scatter in fright and never dare approach the wall again.
Later, little Li Luo learned better. She only eavesdropped and never interrupted.
Mom would also teach Li Luo much about the Abyss while they played games. Compared with the fragmented information she overheard by the wall, Mom's explanations were far more comprehensive and specific.
With little else to entertain her, little Li Luo hungrily absorbed this knowledge. To her, all the strange things in the Abyss were like fantastical stories. Just hearing about them was enough to make her happy.
Later, whenever she built Building Blocks with Mom, she would often create scenes from the Abyss.
