When the last building block fell, nothing remained of the world.
Every scene, every storm, every Cube—after the final building block was toppled, all of them completely collapsed.
Within the boundless void, only a silver-haired, silver-eyed girl remained, along with a Cube that did not belong here.
Mo Ling slowly drifted toward Li Luo. This time, he had finally gotten his wish and reached her side. The world did not reassemble, and Li Luo did not disappear again.
Yet Mo Ling's heart was still filled with questions:
"Why are Li Luo's eyes and hair still silvery white when all the Cubes have vanished?"
"There is no more 'light' here, nor any reflection from metal. Why can I still see flickering light in Li Luo's eyes?"
"What happened to her?"
Li Luo still wore an indifferent expression, as if lost in thought. Though her glimmering eyes were radiant, they carried an unusual emptiness, as if that silvery white could swallow all things.
Mo Ling did not know whether Li Luo was still trapped in her memories, and he did not want to disturb her. So he silently stayed by her side and waited.
After a long while, a trace of awareness finally returned to Li Luo's hollow eyes.
Her silver-white hair now hung to her waist, seeming much longer than before. It made her skin look somewhat pale, and even her eyebrows had turned silver-white, as if dusted with specks of silver powder that occasionally lit up like "stars."
She had already surpassed the realm of humanity, looking more like a deity from some fantasy tale.
Under Mo Ling's expectant gaze, Li Luo slowly turned her head, those eyes fixing directly on the Cube.
She was ethereal and mysterious, unlike Li Luo, yet undeniably still her.
Mo Ling's heart tightened again.
