Mo Ling looked at Li Luo.

She was also staring in shock at the Shock Beast that had reappeared.

The Shock Beast's Metal Appendages grew harder and harder, while a spherical Metal Mesh formed around its head to dampen the vibrations of its flesh.

After Mo Ling teleported the Dream Qilin away and killed it, its entire body had turned black and arrived here.

The Shock Beast arrived before the Dream Qilin and its massive body crashed down. The flesh around its head separated from the Metal Mesh and moved beside the Dream Qilin.

That surging crimson tide had now dwindled to only this much.

Mo Ling could not help but sigh.

The Flesh Slime came to the black Dream Qilin and slowly covered it.

The Dream Qilin did not avoid it, allowing the flesh to swallow it whole.

Li Luo drove closer, allowing Mo Ling to see the scene inside the flesh.

The pulsing flesh wrapped around the pure-black hide, and the Dream Qilin trembled along with the movement of the flesh.

The Shock Beast's abnormal behavior should have ended as well.

Mo Ling focused his vision deep into the curled-up Dream Qilin. The original Red String Worm had already disappeared.

But why had the Dream Qilin not died yet?

Within the endless blackness, a trace of color seemed to be pulsing.

Its movements grew more agile as it began walking along the lakeshore.

When it reached the lake, the Dream Qilin leaped high into the air, tracing an incomparably dreamlike rainbow across the center of the lake before vanishing.

The liquid left behind by the slime drifted down from the air like scattered stars.

Mo Ling made another sound with a can.
