His expectations continue to unravel. He loses points after delaying Meng Han, receives little indulgence from Luo Chen during weeding, and fails to attract the brothers by releasing his pheromones. He subsequently undergoes a punishment stay in a basement storeroom 14 15 18.

Banquet Rivalry and Declining Popularity

At the Luo banquet, Qin Yufan recruits Hu Yue to humiliate Meng Han. Hu Yue bumps into Meng Han and smears mousse across his face, while Qin Yufan laughs before pretending to reprimand his friend for the camera 23.

The banquet nevertheless leaves Qin Yufan feeling invisible, particularly when Luo Chen leaves with Meng Han during an early susceptibility period. His suggestion that Luo Chen fire Chen Bei is rejected. As hostile livestream comments increase, he tries befriending Chen Bei instead, only to be rebuffed again. His manager then advises him to use Meng Han as a foil while avoiding further offense to Chen Bei 27 29 32.

Cruise Milk-Tea Scheme

Qin Yufan agrees to his manager’s plan to induce a pheromone imbalance in Luo Chen through doctored sponsor milk tea, then engineer a temporary mark and publicity. A waiter assists, but the cups are mixed up; Chen Bei’s prepared milk tea ultimately goes to Luo Ming, who begins reacting to Chen Bei’s pheromones 48 52.

Afterward, Qin Yufan confirms that the paparazzi have been paid off and asks his manager not to attempt another scheme for the time being. Chen Bei overhears his suspicious call and confronts him, although Qin Yufan has not publicly admitted responsibility 52.

Trap-Based Tasks and Financial Pressure

Qin Yufan becomes a recurring victim of the production’s traps rather than the admired centerpiece he expected to be 57 62 77.

Lost Zoo Incident

During an enclosure-cleaning assignment, a monkey climbs onto Qin Yufan, sending him running while his cameraman continues filming. He blames zoo safety, but Chen Bei points to his loose scent-blocking patch, and the keeper accuses him of releasing pheromones that endangered the animal. Under pressure, he gives an apology described as insincere 78 79 80.

Old Sun later injures his head after becoming agitated and is reported to be in critical condition. Qin Yufan disputes responsibility and disparages the villagers, prompting criticism from Yu Qingqing. His management orders him to stop speaking and moves to offer compensation. When he then insults Meng Han’s low omega rank, Luo Chen openly defends Meng Han 82 83.

Dating Show and Zhao Yihai

Qin Yufan enters the dating-show phase seeking a marriage that could help his family. He considers Qin Xiao and Zhao Yihai as prospects, but Qin Xiao avoids his attempts to claim familiarity. During the card game, Qin Yufan briefly allies with Zhao Yihai against Chen Bei, then cooperates with Chen Bei to attack Zhao Yihai instead. Yu Qingqing later eliminates him. Their audience-voted rafting partnership fares no better: Chen Bei drenches them both, and Qin Yufan eventually removes their Couple Bracelet after Zhao Yihai refuses to help with his hidden mission. Zhao Shenting and the Ending

Qin Yufan subsequently meets Zhao Shenting, Zhao Yihai’s father, through an anticipated investor introduction. He initially says he does not want to intrude on a marriage, but accepts Zhao Shenting’s interest after being told that he is already divorced. At a later banquet, guests discuss Zhao Shenting’s intention to marry him; the encounter erupts into a confrontation with Zhao Yihai and his mother 154.

At Chen Bei and Luo Ming’s wedding, Qin Yufan sits beside Zhao Yihai, serves him food, and tells him to behave because his father has asked Qin Yufan to keep him in line 159.
