• Fang Yan recorded his herbal medicine research while Gengar, Lilligant, Gothita, and Mime Jr. watched and learned.
• Fang Yan brewed Energy Powder with Honey, and Gengar and the others tried the less bitter medicine.
• The system revealed the medicine was two to three times as effective as Energy Powder and that the Honey canceled its friendship loss.
• Fang Yan discovered Vespiquen’s Honey was a rare blessed version that increased friendship and comprehension, then quickly handed it to Gengar to hide.
• Vespiquen confronted Gengar over the Honey, reclaimed ordinary Honey from the kitchen, and left Fang Yan and Gengar sheepishly hiding their stash.

Fang Yan confirmed that his Chinese medicine formulas were effective and prepared cold medicine for sale. When Nurse Joy brought over a feverish Bibarel, Fang Yan treated Bibarel and Nurse Joy, leaving them recovering as she headed back to the Pokémon Center.

• Fang Yan checked the medicine descriptions, then taught Gengar, Lilligant, Mime Jr., and Gothita how to prepare the formulas.

As the evacuation began, Officer Jenny stayed behind to manage the situation while Fang Yan rode Arcanine back to prepare.

• Fang Yan returned to the Pokémon Day Care, ate breakfast with Shauna and the others, and inspected the exhausted backyard before Grandpa Muzhi and the others sent him to rest.
• Fang Yan thanked Vespiquen for providing honey to improve the herbal cold medicine and promised to bring back other kinds of honey for her to try.
• Officer Jenny introduced Lucian, the Sinnoh Region's Psychic-type Elite Four member, and Lucian thanked Fang Yan for helping the town.
• Cynthia called Fang Yan while traveling on Garchomp and said she was heading to Twinleaf Town after settling matters at Mt. Coronet.

Lucian and Fang Yan worked out a plan to contain the illness in Twinleaf Town, and Lucian stayed at the Pokémon Day Care as the town recovered. After Fang Yan identified mosquitoes as the cause, Lucian began enjoying his extended stay and agreed to train Gothita and Mime Jr.

• Fang Yan and Lucian agreed to observe affected people and Pokémon, quarantine Twinleaf Town residents at home, and treat anyone who developed symptoms.
• Lucian delegated the remaining tasks, then told Flint that Fang Yan had resolved the main problem at the Pokémon Day Care.
• Over the next few days, the observed people and Pokémon left, symptomatic households received treatment, and Twinleaf Town gradually recovered.
• Fang Yan gave Lucian a report identifying mosquitoes as the cause, and Lucian issued instructions to finish the response.

• Cynthia told Fang Yan to remind Lucian to return because League business had piled up, and Lucian resigned himself to ending his vacation.

• Swampert brought Fang Yan a healthy Mudkip Egg that appeared to have superior quality, and he reassured Swampert about its potential.
• Professor Rowan asked Fang Yan to help at the lab after several Starter Pokémon escaped, and Fang Yan agreed to go to Sandgem Town.

A Feng and A Lan returned to Fang Yan’s Pokémon Day Care with a Mudkip egg and recounted how they had encountered Team Galactic trying to control Moltres. Fang Yan learned that Lucian was heading to Eterna City to investigate, then warned the couple that Team Galactic might retaliate.

• A Feng and A Lan collected their Mudkip egg from Fang Yan, and A Lan showed him the Badge she had earned in Eterna City.
• A Lan explained that A Feng had pursued Team Galactic after they tried to control Moltres, and that he had nearly been killed before she and Gardenia arrived.
• A Feng said he had destroyed Team Galactic’s control device, causing the group to flee after making Moltres go berserk; some members were arrested, and Moltres escaped.
• Fang Yan identified the flaming bird as Moltres and learned that the League had sent an Elite Four member to investigate.
• Fang Yan messaged Lucian, discovered he was on his way to Eterna City, and warned A Feng and A Lan to watch out for Team Galactic’s retaliation.
