Background / History

Transmigration and Outer Sect Entry

Ye Xuan awakens in the body of a menial disciple of the Azure Feather Dao Sect. The original owner’s defective five-element spirit root had left him at the bottom of the sect, unable to accumulate resources while enduring bullying and extortion. Binding the Supreme Sign-In System gives Ye Xuan access to the Chaos Dao Scripture and an immediate breakthrough 1.

When Wang Liang and two companions arrive to collect his Spirit Stones, Ye Xuan kills them, disposes of their bodies, and takes their supplies. He subsequently defeats Wang Liang’s backer Xu Li, but spares him to avoid attracting the Law Enforcement Hall’s attention. His attempt to frighten Hu Yi with an imitation Foundation Establishment presence is exposed; by their next confrontation, however, Ye Xuan has genuinely reached that realm and easily defeats him 1 6 7 9.

He registers as an outer disciple using a much lower displayed cultivation. The new status gives him access to more peaks, better accommodation, and additional sign-in locations 9.

Wood Spirit Peak

Ye Xuan first reaches Wood Spirit Peak through Ji Fenghe’s herbal-assistant mission. His medicinal knowledge and system-granted alchemy skills make him increasingly valuable: on only his second attempt at refining Qi Gathering Pills, he produces twenty-four flawless pills 4 5 13.

Under Zheng Huaiyuan, he prepares for the selection granting access to the Spirit Medicine Realm. He also demonstrates flawless Bone-Strengthening Pill refinement before Mo Qi, securing Wood Spirit Peak’s victory in their alchemical rivalry 15 18 19.

His swordsmanship attracts even greater attention. After defeating Ji Fenghe in three moves, he reproduces Zheng Huaiyuan’s demonstration of the second level of Azure Feather Swordsmanship, including its Sword Intent. Zheng Huaiyuan begins teaching him personally, unknowingly answering questions appropriate to Ye Xuan’s concealed Foundation Establishment cultivation 20.

First Journey Outside the Sect

To undergo Core Formation without exposing his cultivation, Ye Xuan obtains permission to leave the sect and accepts a mission concerning ghosts near Qi Village. The investigation brings him into conflict with the Blood Shadow Ancestor, an evil cultivator responsible for slaughtering ordinary people. Ye Xuan kills him before facing his own unusually powerful Golden Core tribulation 21 22 23 24.

Afterward, he rescues Wu Yuehua from four Demon Sect elders and guards her recovery for seven days. He refuses her request for swordsmanship guidance because further demonstrations could expose his identity 25.

In Tianyue City, he sells the elders’ spoils and auctions a flawless Nascent Soul Breakthrough Pill through the Azure Feather Pavilion. Despite repeatedly changing his appearance and displayed cultivation, he is tracked by the Heavenly Eagle Elder, who intends to possess his body. Ye Xuan uses three successive blood eruptions to kill both the elder and his escaping Nascent Soul, then takes his belongings and returns to the sect 25 26 28 29.

Spirit Medicine Realm

Ye Xuan secures an entry place through the outer sect selection. Although already at Golden Core, he passes the realm’s Qi Refining-only entrance by concealing himself with Chaos Spiritual Qi 36 41.

Inside, he claims the Azure Cloud Boat, obtains the immortal sword Rift the Void, and absorbs world origin that advances him to Golden Core peak. He later survives a Nascent Soul tribulation, forms a golden Nascent Soul, and spends three months consolidating his strength 41 42 43 46.

Outside the Land of Sequences, he exchanges a flawless Nascent Soul Breakthrough Pill for Shu Sheng’s information about the site and the wider Yellow Origin Realm. Recognizing the Immortal Sequence’s aura as a weakened form of origin power, he concludes that his own origin should allow him entry. When Xu Yi later demands his prepared resting spot and attacks, Ye Xuan sends him flying with one blow 47 48 49.

His caution does not prevent ruthless retaliation. He kills the men extorting him and pursues the Heavenly Eagle Elder rather than allowing a dangerous enemy to escape. Nevertheless, he rejects indiscriminate cruelty: the slaughter of villagers by the Blood Shadow Ancestor deeply angers him, particularly the death of an infant 1 23 29.

He values useful knowledge as much as immediate power. Access to Ji Fenghe’s pill formulas excites him, and he treats Shu Sheng’s general-history jade slips as priceless material. After reaching Nascent Soul, he deliberately consolidates each increase instead of recklessly accumulating cultivation 13 46 49.
