Background / History
Mu served as the Second Tsuchikage of the Hidden Stone Village and was the teacher of a young Ōnoki. In the past, he stood beside Ōnoki during a dispute that left his student openly indignant at an unnamed figure. 198
At Tsunade's hundred-days banquet, Mu encountered Second Mizukage Gengetsu Hōzuki. The two Kage immediately treated one another as enemies, with Gengetsu noting the death of Mu's predecessor, Ishikawa, and Mu responding in kind. 116
During the First Shinobi World War, Mu and Gengetsu ultimately killed each other in battle. Their simultaneous deaths destabilized both Hidden Stone and Hidden Mist in the war's aftermath. 19
