Aaron helped lay Sindragosa to rest, then joined forces with the Furbolgs against the trolls and confronted corruption tied to Vordrassil. The expedition reached plague-stricken Drak’Tharon Keep, where Aaron killed the Lich Novos and met Drakuru, whom he suspected of spreading the plague.

• Aaron and Xal'atath watched Sindragosa attack Malygos, then helped exhaust her strength so she could speak with Stellagosa before dying.
• Aaron and the dragons carried Sindragosa’s body to the Azure Dragonshrine, where Saragosa led the blue dragons in a farewell, and Alexstrasza agreed to aid Aaron against the Scourge.
• Aaron took an expedition to Grizzly Hills, met the Furbolgs of Grizzlemaw, and agreed to work with them against the Ice Trolls.
• Aaron and the Furbolgs fought the Zandalari Trolls and Infinite Dragonflight at the Heart's Blood Shrine, where Ursoc’s spirit merged with Nalorakk.
• Aaron pursued the corrupted Ursoc to Vordrassil and, with Ysera’s help, purified him with Holy Light before Ysera revealed that the tree’s corruption threatened the Emerald Dream.
• Ysera taught Aaron to purify corrupted leaves, while Orsonn prepared to move the Furbolgs to Drak’Tharon Keep and Aaron delayed an attack until the rangers could report on the defenses.
• Aaron’s party entered the plague-stricken Drak’Tharon Keep, lured King Tyrannosaur Dred outside, and found undead trolls and the Lich Novos within.
• Aaron and Halduron defeated Novos, and Vereesa told them she and Bolvar had found Drakuru hiding in the raptor pens, and Drakuru urged them to unite against the Undead, while Aaron suspected he had spread the plague.

Aaron uncovered and contained the plague in Drak'Tharon Keep, then led the Loa and his forces to defeat the Drakkari in Zul'Drak. Back in Covenant City, he advanced its construction, gathered weapons and allies, and brought Ironaya’s Earthen and golems through the Elf Gate.

• Aaron freed Drakuru, then helped defeat Tharon'ja before Xal'atath captured the Val'kyr Aradne.
• Aaron learned Drakuru had aided the Lich King, then followed him to find and purify three of five plague sources while keeping two for study.
• Aaron released Drakuru, moved his expedition to Grizzly Hills, and joined Aradne in warning the Drakkari Loa about the Scourge and the plague.
• Aaron persuaded the Loa to support an assault on Zul'Drak, and their attack helped rout the Ice Trolls and capture the third wall.
• Aaron and the Loa entered Gundrak through a hidden passage, where Akali killed Frost King Malakk and the Drakkari resistance collapsed.
• Aaron returned to Covenant City, welcomed Antonidas, Jaina, and the Stonemasons' Guild, and arranged for VanCleef to begin construction.
• Aaron visited Uldaman and arranged transport for Ironaya's Earthen and golems, then acquired improved weapons from Sicco Thermaplugg.
• Aaron met Ironaya at the Elf Gate and helped her group pass into Quel'Thalas while the rangers kept the human spectators back.

Aaron brought the Earthen and their allies to Northrend, where they fought the Zandalari and Naga, protected the dragonshrines, and helped the Nerubian survivors defeat Anub'arak. The dragons cleared a path to Icecrown Citadel, Aaron defeated Mal'Ganis, and he was left to decide what to do with Ner'zhul.

• Aaron brought Ironaya and the Earthen to Covenant City, then persuaded Tandred to carry orcs and supplies to Northrend.
• A Zandalari fleet ambushed the Kul Tiras fleet, and Aaron, Vereesa, the Earthen, and the Tidesages fought off Naga attackers with help from Stellagosa and sea giants.
• Archaedas led the Earthen to restart a Titan forge in Grizzly Hills, while Aaron joined Krasus to investigate the decay and undead attacks at the Ruby Dragonshrine.
• Aaron and the dragons tracked the undead Nerubians into Azjol-Nerub, where they joined the survivors and killed Anub'arak.
• Mal'Ganis reported the dragons' plan to attack Icecrown Citadel, and Aaron joined Krasus's force as it fought through the Scourge blockade and destroyed floating citadels.
• Aaron and Krasus tried to capture the last floating citadel, but its Lich detonated himself, and the dragons cleared the way to Icecrown Citadel.
• Aaron, Vereesa, and Krasus found Ner'zhul bound in the Frozen Throne and fought Mal'Ganis, whom Aaron burned with Holy Light after Xal'atath captured his soul.
• Aaron looked toward Ner'zhul and wondered what to do with him.

Aaron recovered Frostmourne, then helped defeat corrupted Malygos and restore his soul. He led an expedition toward Ulduar, where he found the Frost Dwarves under attack and infiltrated Valkyrion with Xal'atath.

• Aaron pulled Frostmourne from the Frozen Throne, resisted its psychic assault with the Holy Light, and kept the sword after waking.
• Aaron and Krasus tracked the Scourge to a tunnel marked by Faceless Ones, then turned toward Ulduar as Malygos began draining the ley lines.
• Kairozdormu corrupted Malygos, who attacked Aaron and Krasus before fleeing to free his master.
• Aaron and Krasus helped Alexstrasza fight Malygos, and Frostmourne absorbed Malygos's soul.
• Annhylde took control of Malygos's body and led Aaron to the Halls of Valor, where Aaron met Azeroth and asked Archaedas to dismantle Frostmourne.
• Azeroth removed the Dragon Soul's corruption from Malygos's body, and Archaedas returned Malygos's soul in a golden crystal so he could recover.
• Aaron led the expedition through Crystalsong Forest and Loshidar Path, then joined Brann and the Frost Dwarves against the Iron Dwarves.
• Aaron learned the silver Val'kyr were raising fallen Iron Dwarves, then entered Valkyrion with Xal'atath disguised as his captor.
