• Qin Tiexin cultivated to the Qi Refining sixth layer, advanced his body tempering and artifact skills, and passed Luo Ling’s assessment by forging the Flame Spirit Sword.
• After Luo Ling left to seek help for Wu Zhen, Qin Tiexin took forging missions, practiced the Five Phases Gang Steps, repaired Edgeless with spirit bones, and reforged wolf fangs into a bone bracelet.
• Qin Tiexin investigated the disappearances in Maple Creek Village and traced the Shadow Fox to a cave, where he found a wounded, horned Blood Devil feeding on stolen vital essence.

• Qin Tiexin arrived at Wind and Snow Pass with the Flowing Cloud Sect and earned merit by repairing damaged Law Artifacts.
• Qin Tiexin discovered that Edgeless produced Blood Beads from absorbed Sha Qi and used medicinal tempering to reach Body Tempering Ninth Layer.

Meanwhile, Liu Qing infiltrated the fortress as Sheng Xiao'er's attendant, where a pact with True Person Xueying set an assault on Wind and Snow Pass in motion.

• Qin Tiexin defended Li Yun's cave against the Ice Devil General and the Snow Baleful Intent Tiger until Li Yun emerged, froze the tiger, and drove off the hidden attackers.
• Li Yun shared the Ice Marrow Jade Lotus with Qin Tiexin, changing his water spirit root to an ice-attribute variant, and the two returned to Wind and Snow Pass after mining profound frost crystals.
• Qin Tiexin trained, forged weapons, allied with Duan Xuan, and completed Marrow Replacement, reaching Body Tempering Ninth Layer.
