Qin Tiexin gathered Blood Demon Fruits, learned the history of Chengxin and the Pure Land Chan Temple, and fought his way into the sealed ruins. There, he battled Incense Ash Monsters with Buddhist techniques and reached a scripture repository whose platform gave him an ancient stone slip.

• Qin Tiexin killed the Blood-Patterned Wolves guarding the Blood Demon Fruit Trees, recovered Jiang Lie’s remains and testimony, and collected all thirteen fruits despite three cultivators who tried to take them.
• Qin Tiexin read Jiang Lie’s account of Chengxin, whose beloved died after protecting him and who later slaughtered the allied forces that attacked the Pure Land Chan Temple before sealing himself and the battlefield.
• Lin Chuan’s group survived a hallucinogenic Spirit Plant, while Qin Tiexin continued toward the temple and rescued Xiao Rou from a Void Spirit Python by trapping it and killing it with Edgeless.

Qin Tiexin helped release Devil Venerable Xuanli from his seal, then fought alongside other cultivators to stop him from escaping with the bracelet. After overcoming Xuanli, Qin Tiexin faced Xiao Wan’s attempt to claim it and was saved from her attack by Lin Chuan and his companions.

• Qin Tiexin learned the Sumeru Immovable Instruction, then refused to sell his jade slip and joined Xiao Rou on the third floor.
• Qin Tiexin joined Chen Chen’s group to break the Eighteen Bronze Men Formation, but when the treasures were revealed, the cultivators rushed for Xuanli’s bracelet and released the sealed devil.
• Xuanli drained cultivators to restore his strength, and Qin Tiexin joined Chen Chen, Qian Donglai, and Yan Yue in battling him as the devil grew stronger.
• Qin Tiexin weakened Xuanli with Edgeless while Xiao Yan and the Buddhist disciples tried to restrain him, but Xuanli broke their formation and prepared to flee.

After escaping the secret realm, Qin Tiexin concealed his identity, prepared for the Skills Trial, and settled into a new life with Ming'an. As Qin Tiexin forged weapons and found teachings for Ming'an, Xiao Wan and Benhong investigated his hidden Buddhist abilities, and a voice named Chengxin awakened through Ming'an's bracelet.

• Lin Chuan’s group found Qin Tiexin fighting Xiao Wan in the Pure Land Chan Temple, helped him drive her away, and Qin Tiexin later disguised himself as Mingjue.
• Lin Chuan’s team searched the temple, collected its remaining treasures and cultivation slips, then escaped through the guarded rift and returned to Ten Thousand Stars City.
• Chen Xi warned Qin Tiexin that his disguises and Buddhist techniques had exposed him, arranged a false death for Liu Qing, and advised him to prepare carefully for the trials.

The stretch ended with him facing Jiang Cheng in the top-sixteen round and sizing up the axe fighter’s repetitive, powerful attacks.

• Ming'an learned that Chengxin’s lingering will had awakened through the Clear Heart Sutra, while Qin Tiexin practiced the Sumeru Immovable Instruction and formed nine Earth Wheel layers.
