Lu Chen, a Trainer from the ancient era, somehow found himself transported to the modern Pokémon world.

After hearing the words of the old man who called himself Professor Oak, Lu Chen quickly grasped the situation following a brief moment of surprise.

"Now this is the Pokémon world I know! Not even a dog would want to go back to that ancient world!"

Professor Oak warily eyed the astonishingly powerful Ancient Pokémon beside Lu Chen: an ancient Gengar covered in mystical markings, an Aerodactyl covered in hard stone, and a Lapras brimming with murderous intent.

"Mr. Lu Chen, do you plan to continue being a Trainer?"

Gazing at the peaceful, tranquil world before him, Lu Chen replied calmly,

"A Trainer? Not even a dog would take that job. Starting today, I'm retiring and taking it easy."

And so, Lu Chen, a Trainer from the ancient era, bought a plot of land in Pallet Town, opened a Pokémon farm, and began his peaceful retirement as a farmer.

He just happened to offer the younger generation a few pointers and deal with a little trouble in his spare time.

"Ash, that's not how you use Aura. If you want to become an Aura Guardian, you've still got a lot of work to do!"

"Champion Cynthia? Why doesn't your Garchomp know Dragon Dance? All our ancient Garchomp knew Dragon Dance. Want me to teach yours?"

"Giovanni? A villain who wants to rule the world? Sigh... Compared to those lunatics who slaughtered entire continents, he's practically sweet enough to be adorable."

Little by little, Lu Chen realized that although he had retired to enjoy a quiet life, his influence had already spread across the entire world.
