Enjoying a private flight
After a moment's thought, Li Qi realized that this villa lacked the equipment he needed. It seemed he still had to head to his puppet Tony's villa in Malibu.
Li Qi therefore told the AI JARVIS to notify Happy, the head of security, to prepare the convoy for their return to Malibu.
After giving the order, Li Qi went straight back to the master bedroom with his female slave, Daisy Johnson. There was no need to pack, since the other villa was equally well equipped.
Only after master and slave returned to the bedroom did Li Qi notice an old mural on one of its side walls.
The mural was square, nearly two meters on each side, and depicted a dazzling array of sights at a futuristic world expo. A bustling exhibition venue occupied the center, surrounded by pavilions, rest areas, annexes, covered walkways, stairs, pedestrian crossings, and everything else one could need.
Looking at the old oil painting with its striking sense of depth, Li Qi recognized it as what should be the New Element that Howard Stark had depicted more than thirty years ago through his visionary, imaginative creativity.
Presumably, puppet Tony had no use for it now, so I'll complete it myself according to Howard Stark's conception, which was ahead of its time. He and Daisy Johnson worked together to carefully take down the mural and bring it along.
For this trip to the Malibu villa, Li Qi once again copied the AI JARVIS's core system and installed it in that villa.
The systems in both villas and Stark Tower were all networked in real time and shared data, allowing them to carry out Li Qi's instructions without any delay. Moreover, JARVIS's system would continue to upgrade.
Li Qi then went downstairs with Daisy Johnson. The convoy was already ready in the courtyard. Ever cautious and mindful of safety, Happy did not dare let his guard down in the slightest.
The potbellied man opened the rear door of the black armored sedan in the middle of the convoy and respectfully invited his employer and his follower to get in.
After some thought, Li Qi felt that, as a wealthy man, his travel options should not be limited to land. He had never ridden in a private helicopter or plane before.
Flying from here to Malibu, California, would take roughly two hours by private plane (note: please do not compare the locations in this novel with their real-world counterparts).
Since private planes were an exclusive privilege of the rich, Li Qi felt he ought to enjoy one this time.
After he told the potbellied Happy his idea, the head of security followed his arrangements.
The private airport was in the outskirts, about fifteen minutes from the villa. The three-car convoy left the villa and sped toward the private airport.
Someone had already notified air traffic control along the way. Upon arrival, Li Qi boarded the private plane with the potbellied Happy and two bodyguards. After taxiing along the long runway, the plane slowly climbed into the sky.
It was a small private plane manufactured by the mysterious great nation of the East. Its crew, including attendants, stewardesses, and pilots, were all regular employees of Stark Industries.
During the flight, Li Qi chatted casually with several pretty female flight attendants. They wore specially tailored flight attendant uniforms: royal-blue T-shirts paired with black, figure-hugging skirts, with nude stockings complemented by slender high heels.
They were classic foreign beauties with high nose bridges and long black hair cascading like waterfalls. Speaking in soft, lilting voices, they brought Li Qi champagne and beer.
Looking at the flight attendants, Li Qi warmly invited them to sit down, have a drink together, and sing a few songs. The cabin had a portable karaoke machine, microphones, and a high-definition screen, creating a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere.
The flight attendants were somewhat reserved at first, but gradually relaxed after singing two songs. By comparison, Daisy Johnson, as his follower, seemed a little less at ease. After joining in for two songs, she sat beside her master and quietly drank beer.
Naturally, the potbellied Happy disapproved of the scene. On the pretext of needing to stay focused, he went to the lounge at the rear and kept contacting the security teams at both locations, remaining vigilant at all times.
As the journey neared its end, Li Qi instructed the chief flight attendant, an exceptionally attractive Western woman, to add a different kind of fun to future flights by assigning more lively female attendants and including more Eastern women.
The chief flight attendant understood his meaning and nodded gently. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, and she was a little tipsy; after all, everyone had been immersed in the cheerful atmosphere throughout the journey.
Of course, not the entire crew was so relaxed. Some still remained sober and steadfastly attended to their duties.
The private plane landed at a private airport near Malibu.
After two hours in the air, nearly an hour and a half of which had been spent enjoying themselves, the private plane finally touched down smoothly at the private airport on the outskirts of Malibu.
Once it had come to a stop, Li Qi disembarked with Daisy Johnson, Happy, and the two bodyguards.
Two armored cars were already waiting at the airport. Li Qi and Daisy Johnson got into the first car, with the potbellied Happy once again driving. They sped toward the private villa atop Malibu's highest mountain.
The drive passed without incident. By the time they reached the villa, the sun was about to sink below the sea horizon opposite Malibu.
