The sky had long since turned pitch-black, and it was already very late. Li Qi slowly rose from the bed where he had been resting.

On the bed, Ying Li also sat up lightly. After several days of sincere, in-depth exchanges with Li Qi, there was more understanding and trust in her eyes. Through his sincerity, Li Qi had successfully earned Ying Li's trust, making her genuinely willing to help him.

Li Qi paced slowly around the small room, gazing out the window at the abyss-black night. This place had a cycle of day and night, and night had now settled deep.

After some thought, Li Qi felt there was no immediate need to leave. He planned to stay here for two or three days, deepen his understanding of Ying Li, and lay the groundwork for his next steps.

Li Qi himself was not hungry yet, having just eaten and drunk his fill in the karaoke lounge. But he was thinking of Ying Li, so he gently asked her in a soft voice whether she wanted to prepare some food.

Ying Li smiled and nodded lightly, then gracefully straightened her clothes and walked with measured steps to the kitchen in the back to prepare a meal.

Li Qi rested briefly in the room, then went to the kitchen doorway. He saw Ying Li skillfully cooking various ingredients, which looked as though she had carefully gathered them from the surrounding area during her time here. After some attentive cooking, three freshly made dishes, each delightful in color, aroma, and flavor, were ready.

After finishing their meal, Li Qi and Ying Li sat leisurely together in the courtyard, quietly admiring the unusual luminous celestial bodies in the night sky. They opened their hearts to each other, sharing their experiences and thoughts, before returning indoors hand in hand to rest.

Just like that, three days quietly slipped by. During his time here, Li Qi came to understand Ying Li deeply, and the two established an immensely profound bond of trust.

After three days had passed, Li Qi estimated that less than half an hour might have passed in the world he had transmigrated to. So, three days later, Li Qi brought Ying Li, who had packed her belongings, to stand beside him in the small courtyard.

Li Qi silently communicated with the system golden finger residing within him, asking it to take him and Ying Li away. In an instant, a wave of disorientation washed over them, and the two left the pocket universe as though in a dream, reappearing in Li Qi's master bedroom.

Checking the time, he found that only twenty-some minutes had passed. JARVIS informed his master that no one had come looking for him during that time.

Considering Ying Li's limited living conditions in the pocket space, Li Qi first took her to the master bathroom, thoughtfully allowing her to enjoy a comfortable bath and relax her tired body and mind.

JARVIS had already prepared clean changes of clothes for both of them. After changing, Ying Li wore a simple white T-shirt and blue jeans. Her long, silky hair flowed loosely, making her look particularly refreshed, and she radiated a different kind of vitality.

By now, through her time with Li Qi, Ying Li had genuinely accepted him, as though she had found a companion she could rely on. She had returned to a normal state, able to express her emotions and thoughts freely, and was filled with unwavering trust in Li Qi.

Li Qi sat on the soft bed, lost in thought, considering how to skillfully use Ying Li's connections to establish contact with the Ten Rings more effectively and take a crucial step toward his plan.

In another room, Shang-Chi had relaxed considerably in both body and mind after a lighthearted, pleasant exchange with the twin sisters, and was now preparing to get up. Meanwhile, Ying Li's husband-the leader of the Ten Rings-was anxiously searching everywhere for his son. The entire situation resembled an intricate game of chess.

Li Qi could not help sinking into deep thought about how to position his pieces skillfully in this game. But one thing was clear: he needed to make contact with the Ten Rings through Ying Li in a sensible and clever way.

After thinking for a moment, Li Qi first asked Ying Li to rest in the room while he took care of matters outside. Then he quietly left the master bedroom and returned to the karaoke lounge with steady steps.

Only Daisy Johnson and the puppet Tony were in the lounge. Katy was sound asleep in another room, and Shang-Chi had yet to sober up completely. Those staff members Tony had invited who had nothing to do had gone to rest in the changing room at the back. Major Rhodey had also left the Stark villa and hurried back to New York to report to the higher-ups.

Li Qi called the puppet Tony over and seriously asked about the current state of Stark Industries' shutdowns and restructuring. Less than two days had passed, yet several departments had already closed one after another. The puppet Tony worked with remarkable efficiency.

As for the acquisition of another relatively small defense contractor, Hammer Industries, a formal acquisition offer had already been sent. If the acquisition failed, it would probably be because the offered price was not reasonable enough.

Li Qi did not particularly care about prices, stocks, or company profits, so he told the puppet Tony to handle things flexibly and complete the acquisition as soon as possible.

There had also been new developments regarding Stark Industries' former partner, a close friend of Howard Stark. The old man was currently in a cold town in Siberia, and Tony had already sent people to fetch him and his son.

Li Qi nodded, indicating that he would make detailed arrangements once they had been brought back. He then sent the puppet Tony back to Stark Industries that very night to continue advancing the work, while he himself would begin developing and building a suit of armor in the underground laboratory that evening.

Daisy Johnson continued working to control the supernatural power within her, racing against time to improve her abilities. Li Qi went down to the basement and asked JARVIS to project the armor component designs and overall renderings into the air, then devoted his full attention to assembling and crafting them one by one.

The armor's most crucial energy system had been designed yesterday, so building the armor prototype next was somewhat less difficult than the previous work.

In a nearby laboratory, Daisy Johnson had just activated her power three times. She could now control the speed, intensity, and range of its activation fairly well. Only a few pieces of electrical equipment in the room had been damaged, which was already a great improvement for her.

She therefore went to the doorway of Li Qi's nearby laboratory, eager to share the good news with her master.

But seeing Li Qi absorbed in his work, she did not disturb him. Instead, she quietly returned upstairs, settled the pay for the staff who had participated in the event, and arranged for them to leave. Afterward, she prepared to check how dinner was coming along in the kitchen at the back.

Just as she was about to push the door open and leave, Shang-Chi's slightly languid, still tipsy voice came from the hallway. "Miss Johnson, may I ask where Li Qi is? I'd like to say goodbye to him now."

Daisy Johnson looked toward Shang-Chi as he emerged from the room ahead. He carefully straightened his shirt as he walked, his face bearing a relaxed expression, and he looked much more refreshed.

Judging solely by his appearance, Shang-Chi seemed mature and steady, but Daisy Johnson knew that this man was actually only twenty-four or twenty-five. His wealth of experience made him look more worldly than his actual age.
