Coming to Diana's Aid

To reach Paradise Island and support Diana as quickly as possible, Li Qi resolutely abandoned the cruise ship, determination in his eyes.

Moving nimbly, he swiftly took control of eight strikingly designed suits of armor. A cold metallic sheen glinted across their bodies, their lines sleek yet rugged, like eight mobile steel fortresses.

Following the precise coordinates obtained from the squad leader, and with JARVIS guiding them as accurately as a precision navigation system, the eight suits shot toward their destination like steel beasts unleashed, racing through the air.

Eight white trails streaked southwest like arrows splitting the heavens, surging forward with unstoppable momentum like an irresistible torrent.

As he sped onward, Li Qi sternly instructed JARVIS to gather every scrap of information about the area. Nothing was overlooked, from data supplied by military satellites slipping through high orbit like ghosts to the slow movements of nearby merchant ships.

After a comprehensive analysis, a flicker of delighted surprise crossed his eyes as he learned that their destination, Paradise Island, was close at hand, less than a hundred nautical miles ahead. Thinking of how quickly he had located his target, and that he could lend Diana a hand, Li Qi felt deeply gratified, the corners of his mouth rising unconsciously.

With the coordinates confirmed, Li Qi loudly ordered JARVIS to push the armor's thrusters to full power without hesitation. Their speed instantly climbed to twice the speed of sound as they raced toward the battlefield like meteors chasing the moon. In just fifteen minutes, they reached the battlefield's edge, where a fierce amphibious assault came into view.

Looking down from above, they saw a fierce battle raging across the vast sea. An assault force cobbled together from more than thirty speedboats, cruise ships, and fishing boats was advancing aggressively toward a massive island hidden within thick fog. Like a mysterious veil, the fog concealed the island completely.

The island was shrouded in mystery; even military reconnaissance satellites could hardly penetrate the fog to glimpse what lay inside. Yet now, the fierce conflict had unexpectedly torn open the concealing screen of light around it, exposing it to everyone like a young woman whose mysterious veil had been lifted.

Without the slightest hesitation, Li Qi fixed his piercing gaze on the scene and immediately ordered JARVIS to divide the other seven suits into several groups and launch fierce attacks from different directions against the vessels attempting to storm the beach.

Battle cries shook the beach as nearly a hundred fully armed security personnel clashed at close quarters with a group of Amazon warriors mounted on fine horses and wielding spears, bows, and crossbows, plunging into a harrowing fight to the death. The women moved nimbly, their red capes snapping in the wind and fearless light shining in their eyes.

On one side stood a well-equipped modern armed force with powerful firepower; on the other, brave and fearless Amazons who held to traditional methods of combat. The disparity in strength was obvious.

The bodies of Amazon warriors lay scattered across the beach in a heartbreaking sight, while the security personnel had suffered very few casualties.

Watching the battle closely from high above, Li Qi noticed two figures who stood out amid the hail of bullets. Agile as hunting leopards, they darted back and forth, each attack delivering a precise, fatal blow to an enemy.

He was particularly familiar with one of them: Diana. She wore gleaming standard-issue Amazon armor that shone with a mysterious radiance like brilliant stars. With a golden longsword in hand and a round shield, she was equipped for both attack and defense. Her long golden hair rippled in the wind like golden waves, and determination and decisiveness showed on her delicate face.

With every charge, her sharp sword left a bloody gash on an enemy, its cold gleam flashing as her foes fell one after another.

The other was a mounted Amazon general wielding a golden spear. Her spear struck like a dragon, every thrust carrying tremendous force that filled her enemies with dread. But against such powerful foes, the two women alone still could not turn the tide, and the Amazons remained at a clear disadvantage.

At that critical moment, the roar of missiles and rocket launchers swept in from every direction like rolling thunder.

In the sky, the seven suits controlled by JARVIS descended like gods of war. Moving with blinding speed, they blasted the enemy vessels that had yet to reach shore into countless fragments with missiles and rockets.

Flames soared over the sea, explosions rang out one after another, and waves of heat rolled outward. The security personnel who had already reached the shallows looked back in terror, only to see steel suits descending like gods, radiating a terrifying menace.

Their overwhelming presence instantly struck fear into the security personnel holding long guns and rifles, sending their morale plummeting.

Seizing the moment, Li Qi swiftly landed beside Diana. In an instant, intertwined blue-and-white laser beams shot from his armor's palm, accurately striking the enemy who had raised his gun to aim at her.

Almost simultaneously, Diana swung her sword, turning back with an elegant diagonal thrust that drove deep into another enemy's thigh. As she pulled the blade free, blood gushed like a spring, and the man collapsed with a scream.

Immediately afterward, a standard-issue Amazon arrow flew in from the side and pierced the fallen enemy's neck with precision, killing him on the spot.

Diana turned, her eyes filled with confusion at the red-and-white steel suit beside her.

Seeing this, Li Qi slowly opened his faceplate, revealing a handsome young face with Eastern features, swordlike brows, and star-bright eyes, radiating a heroic air. A faint, confident smile rested on his lips. He smiled slightly at Diana. "Little princess, I'm here to help you and your people. These fellows with modern weapons aren't easy to deal with!"

Once Diana recognized Li Qi, a flicker of delighted surprise and relief crossed her eyes, but with the battle so urgent, there was no time to catch up.

Li Qi quickly shielded Diana behind him and thrust both hands forward, sending powerful beams flashing out like lightning. At the same time, the launch compartments on his armor's back opened, and several small missiles screamed toward the enemy.

For a time, deafening explosions filled the shallows as the battle underwent a tremendous reversal. The eight suits swept through the enemy ranks unopposed, ruthlessly cutting them down with thunderous force.

Seeing the tide turn, the Amazons' morale soared, and they erupted in waves of impassioned cries.

Just then, rapid hoofbeats sounded from both sides of the cliffs, and two units of Amazon soldiers riding tall, powerful horses charged onto the battlefield like tigers descending a mountain.

They wore heavy golden armor that provided thorough protection, golden military helmets on their heads and capes billowing in the wind, looking imposing and formidable. Each horse raised its head and neighed as though cheering on the warriors, while the women on their backs cut valiant figures, their determined gazes fixed on the enemy.

Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, had personally led this elite cavalry force to their aid, giving the battle a powerful boost.

By now, the vessels that had brought the invaders had been blasted to pieces, leaving the remaining security personnel trapped in the shallows in desperate straits. Yet they continued to resist stubbornly, making their final struggle.

However, against the steel suits' aerial superiority and the cavalry's fierce assault, their resistance proved feeble and futile. In little more than ten minutes, the invading armed force was utterly routed, and the invaders' bodies lay strewn across the beach.

Once the battle ended, the Amazon warriors quickly set to work treating the wounded and carrying away their fallen sisters' bodies, taking them deeper into Paradise Island.

Diana put away her bloodstained sword and, after briefly gesturing to Li Qi, hurried off to see her mother, Queen Hippolyta. Meanwhile, after methodically arranging the various postbattle matters, Antiope, Paradise Island's general, approached Li Qi with steady steps, filled with gratitude.

She folded her hands respectfully before her and slowly bent forward in a deep, solemn bow full of reverence, speaking in a sincere, firm voice.

"Benefactor, your aid was like the first light in the dark of night, illuminating our desperate plight. With your extraordinary power and fearless courage, you saved our Amazon Tribe from peril and preserved countless lives. We will remember this kindness for as long as we live. Your righteous deed will be inscribed in the long history of the Amazons, passed down through the generations and never forgotten."
