Li Ang walked out of the darkness, step by step.
With every step he drew closer, the pressure on Thor grew.
It was no exaggeration to say that the man before him felt more terrifying than the frost beasts on the tundra.
"I'm curious. Why exactly are you so fixated on this?" Li Ang asked.
"Because that is my honor!" Thor stood in the shadows of the dark corridor, his eyes gleaming with stubbornness.
With that, Thor took a fighting stance, ready to battle Li Ang again. He refused to give up just like that, whether as a warrior or a prince.
"All right, go ahead, then." Li Ang stepped aside, having lost interest in continuing the fight.
"Since you insist on stopping me, then... huh?" Thor failed to react for a moment.
After much hesitation, he still walked toward the door, glancing back as he went, afraid Li Ang would suddenly attack him from behind.
But Li Ang merely stood there with his arms folded.
"No one can lift that hammer. It's just sitting there anyway, so you might as well give it a try." Li Ang acted exceedingly friendly, as though everything before had merely been a joke.
Of course no one can lift it. That's Mjolnir. Only Father and I can wield it!
Pride filled Thor's face as he strode toward the lone rock standing in the center of the camp. The hammer was embedded in it, utterly motionless.
Li Ang followed behind, looking ready to enjoy the show.
Of course he knew the current Thor could not lift the hammer. When the time came, he would take out the Tiger Talisman, and Thor's good half would naturally be able to lift it!
As for the dark half, he would have the good half talk some sense into him after regaining the Power of Thor. If he refused, Li Ang would get physical himself.
A few hard slaps would be sure to fix him!
"Watch closely. I'll prove that I'm still the God of Thunder!" Thor walked up to the hammer, took a deep breath, and gripped its handle with both hands.
"Up!"
His muscles bulged. Watching through the surveillance cameras, Coulson also looked ready to enjoy the show.
Unfortunately, the hammer did not budge.
Seeing this, Thor exerted even more strength, his face turning red with effort, but the hammer remained as though welded into the rock.
"Th-this is impossible!"
He let go and staggered back a step, staring at the hammer. His gaze shifted from shock to confusion, then to a trace of barely perceptible fear.
If I can't even lift the hammer, what the hell am I supposed to do?
He backed away a few steps and slumped into the dirt, like a child abandoned after making a mistake.
Confusion, unwillingness, and self-doubt welled up in his heart.
At this point, Li Ang felt it was time for him to take the stage. Your big brother Li Ang is the best at talk therapy!
He came over to Thor and asked, "Is this hammer important to you?"
Without moving his head, Thor glanced at Li Ang and answered hoarsely, "Yes..."
"I have a way that might let you lift this hammer."
Hearing this, Thor raised his head as though clutching at a lifeline. "Really?"
"Really. I never lie." Smiling, Li Ang took out a stone, placed it in Thor's hand, and told him to hold it.
"If what you said is true, then as long as you can break this stone apart, you'll be able to lift the hammer."
"Is that really true?"
"Yes. Only someone with great love in their heart and noble morals can break this stone apart!"
Li Ang spoke with absolute conviction.
A flash of delight crossed the hoodwinked Thor's eyes. Suspecting nothing, he exerted force with both hands and broke the stone apart!
The stone was extraordinarily magical and broke apart with ease. The instant it split, a white light suddenly flared, so dazzling that even Li Ang could not help narrowing his eyes!
As the white light faded, Thor, who had been slumped on the ground, had become two people!
"What?" Both Thors froze at the same time.
Neither understood why someone who looked exactly like him had suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Good Thor looked at the other version of himself beside him, confusion flashing through his eyes.
"What's going on?" He turned to Li Ang.
Evil Thor reacted quickly, running straight to the hammer and grabbing its handle to pull it free.
Of course he could not pull it out!
After straining several times, Evil Thor looked at Li Ang. "Despicable Midgardian, you dared deceive me!"
[Received Evil Thor's anger: +5,000 Presence!]
As he spoke, he picked up a clod of dirt, clenched it in his hand, and hurled it at Li Ang!
Without the Power of Thor, how could he possibly be a match for Li Ang?
Li Ang then blew out a breath, white mist streaming from his mouth. Before the clod could reach him, it froze, fell to the ground, and shattered.
Although the sight looked unbelievable, Evil Thor did not care and still wanted to charge at him.
At that moment, Good Thor hurriedly stepped between them. "Don't! He might not have known either. He was trying to help us!"
[Obtained Good Thor's approval: +2,000 Presence]
"Huh?" Li Ang froze at the incoming Presence. This can count twice?
Unexpectedly, the instant Good Thor raised his hand, the previously lifeless Mjolnir suddenly trembled several times.
The next second, boom!
A muffled thunderclap resounded across the sky.
Amid the dazzling white light, Mjolnir began vibrating at an extremely high frequency!
Evil Thor raised his head, wild joy flashing through his eyes. He raised his hand to summon Mjolnir as he always had, but the hammer continued vibrating without the slightest intention of returning.
"What's going on?"
Good Thor was equally bewildered, exchanging a blank look with Evil Thor.
"I never said you would be the one who could lift it."
Li Ang spoke unhurriedly, raising his hand to fire a Gravity Capture Net and pin Evil Thor down!
Struck by the sudden crushing pressure, Evil Thor dropped to one knee, hitting the ground with a dull thud.
"Despicable Midgardian!" Evil Thor cursed, several clusters of lightning appearing on the surface of his body!
But they quickly sank back into his body and disappeared.
Before his divine power had been sealed, he definitely could have broken free, but now it was impossible.
"Go on. As you are now, you can definitely lift Mjolnir!" Li Ang's tone was beguiling. Watching everything through the cameras, Coulson kept feeling that something was off.
Right now, Li Ang was like an old witch coaxing children into eating candy.
Hearing this, Good Thor walked over to Mjolnir, gripped its handle, and sharply raised his arm!
To Li Ang's surprise, Good Thor still looked strained as he lifted the hammer, but the hammer did move in the end.
Evil Thor watched helplessly as the hammer was pulled free, so furious that waves of dizziness swept through his head.
"No! No! That belongs to me!"
But what could he do?
He could only watch like an impotent husband as Good Thor raised the hammer bit by bit.
Electrical arcs crackled incessantly. Thor raised the hammer above his head, arcs surging around him and lighting up the entire containment zone!
Crash!
This time, thunder rumbled, and a bolt of heavenly lightning struck straight down!
The searing lightning split into two bolts of divine lightning in midair, each sinking into one of the two Thors!
"What the fuck?" Li Ang was rather surprised, and also wondered in surprise whether this divine position was bound to them.
Just as he was thinking this, Evil Thor stood up again amid the divine lightning, a cloud of black mist swirling into existence at his feet.
The black mist appeared extremely abruptly, as though out of thin air, and instantly enveloped Evil Thor!
"Huh?" Li Ang reacted extremely quickly. He immediately raised his hand, attempting to trap Evil Thor with the Rooster Talisman.
Unexpectedly, the next second, a voice suddenly sounded in his mind.
"I finally found you."
Li Ang had never heard that voice before. It sounded as though countless people were speaking at once, chaotic and disorderly yet clearly conveying its meaning.
Just then, Evil Thor was cut off by some kind of force and disappeared.
Li Ang frowned, looking at the mark that had appeared out of thin air on the ground, his expression dark. "Mephisto?!"
