He chased the two of them west.

Li Ang could clearly see that neither of them had been idle during the flight.

They were beating each other like their lives depended on it, trading punches and kicks with abandon.

Strangely, every time the arcs of electricity from evil Thor's punches struck good Thor, they stripped away wisps of white vapor!

After he absorbed that white vapor, his strength visibly increased.

"What did you do?" Good Thor's voice had already grown weak, as though he had been drained.

Seeing this, Li Ang knew he couldn't let them keep flying. He raised his hand and used the Rooster Talisman's power, trying to immobilize them!

An inexplicable pressure descended. Li Ang closed his hand toward evil Thor, and the next second, evil Thor was hurled hard toward the ground!

Good Thor gasped for breath. Li Ang flew over, grabbed him, and landed with him.

By now, evil Thor was clearly much stronger. He rolled his wrists and sneered. "He really wasn't lying to me!"

Li Ang handed the Destroyer to good Thor. "Keep an eye on your home security system."

With that, Li Ang turned to evil Thor.

The ground around them began to tremble. Looking at Li Ang's serious expression, evil Thor felt a little uneasy.

"Shit, I haven't had a chance to use the spell that demon gave me!" Thor's expression darkened.

Evil Thor was arrogant and eager for battle.

But against Li Ang, he wasn't just unsure he could win-he wasn't even sure he could escape...

Mephisto had previously given him a spell that could control the Destroyer, which was why he had seized an opportunity to slip out.

He hadn't expected Li Ang to react so quickly!

Li Ang wasn't in the habit of wasting words on enemies. The ground beneath his feet exploded, and when he reappeared, a cannon punch had already struck evil Thor square in the face!

The punch landed with an explosive crack, caving in evil Thor's entire face. He shot away like a cannonball and only stopped when he slammed into a distant boulder!

A furrow marked his path. Li Ang appeared before evil Thor as if he had teleported, raising his hand to strike again!

"Wait!" Evil Thor raised a hand, trying to say something.

His answer was a heavy punch, followed by Li Ang's feigned surprise. "Oh! Why didn't you say so sooner? Right, what were you going to say?"

Evil Thor's eye socket had turned blue. He coughed twice and wiped the blood from his nose.

"Uh... can we make peace?"

Li Ang grinned, showing a mouthful of white teeth. "What do you think?"

He wasn't about to believe that bullshit about making peace. Just thinking from the evil half's perspective made it obvious that this had to be a fake surrender, so he might as well beat him into submission!

So... thud!

Thud!

Thud!

By the time good Thor ran over, he could still feel the ground shaking!

Evil Thor lay helplessly on the ground, his face swollen like a pig's head. If not for his clothes, she really wouldn't have recognized him!

Seeing evil Thor beaten into such a state sent a chill down Sif's back too.

How terrifying!

They knew how strong Thor was-stronger than they were-yet now he couldn't fight back against Li Ang at all!

After looking at evil Thor, Sif's gaze involuntarily drifted toward Li Ang.

Li Ang couldn't completely overpower Thor as he was now. The reason this had been so easy was that Thor's divine power had been split in two.

Even so, evil Thor had retaliated with several bolts of lightning.

The electrical arcs had burned away all of Li Ang's clothes except his pants, leaving his lean, muscular body fully exposed.

Nearby, Sif stole a few involuntary glances. After pressing her lips together, she voiced her question. "How do we turn them back into one person now?"

"Simple." Li Ang summoned the other half of the Tiger Talisman out of evil Thor, retrieved it, and joined the two halves.

The Tiger Talisman erupted with dazzling white light, brighter than the sun about to rise into the distant sky.

When the white light faded, Thor sat slumped on the ground, his eyes vacant.

The memories in his mind became jumbled. Only after several minutes did Thor sit up, looking at Li Ang with eyes full of complicated emotions.

Gratitude mingled with hatred. After gathering his words, he finally said, "Thank you, my friend. Neither I nor Asgard will forget this kindness."

Gripping Mjolnir, he recalled the moments that had flashed through good Thor's mind when he lifted the hammer: for Asgard, for his friends.

There was also evil Thor's selfishness and arrogance.

He understood clearly what he should do with this power.

"I was immature before..." With that, he looked up at the sky, gazing toward distant Asgard.

Li Ang checked the system's mission and found that the bonus objective had been ticked off. All that remained was to thwart Loki's plot.

"I have something more important to do..."

Thor raised Mjolnir high and roared, "Heimdall, take me back!"

No one answered.

At that moment, Heimdall was still frozen. Loki had brought in the Frost Giants and stolen the Casket of Ancient Winters. Heimdall had tried to resist, then ended up cosplaying Captain America...

Hearing Thor's call, he began to struggle.

Back on Earth, Li Ang looked at Thor, who was holding up his hammer in bewilderment. "Since Loki became king of Asgard, doesn't that mean he controls the Bifrost?"

Thor's expression changed. Oh, right.

Just as they were puzzling over this, the sound of an engine came from the distance.

They turned to see Jane arriving with Darcy.

"Thor!" Jane shouted, hurriedly running over. Off to the side, Sif and the Warriors Three looked like they had just stumbled onto some juicy gossip.

As they chatted, the white clouds overhead lowered again, this time gathering into a vortex.

It was a sign that the Bifrost was about to appear!

Just then, Li Ang's phone rang. He took it out and saw a message from Nick Fury.

"We've detected the same energy fluctuations again. What's the situation over there?"

"Everything's under control."

After replying, Li Ang put his phone away and found Thor and Jane in the middle of a lovey-dovey goodbye.

Li Ang watched the clouds sink lower and lower overhead, even taking on the color of storm clouds.

"Wait for me to come back."

After kissing Jane goodbye, Thor raised Mjolnir high. The next second, rainbow-colored holy light descended from the sky, and Li Ang stepped into it too.

The sensation of teleportation was peculiar.

It wasn't like riding an elevator. It was as though he were passing through a spatial tunnel woven from auroras.

Everything around him stretched into lines of light. The faster-than-light distortion made Li Ang a little dizzy, while energy roared in his ears.

Only when he shot out of the tunnel did Li Ang find that his surroundings had changed.

Almost everything before him was gold. Only the distant starry sky was a different color.

A sword stood embedded in a platform nearby. Clad in golden armor, Heimdall knelt on one knee, leaning against the longsword. "Your Highness! The king is in danger!" he said weakly.

Seeing the corpses of Frost Giants nearby, an enraged Thor spun his hammer and flew straight toward the palace.

Li Ang, meanwhile, crouched before Heimdall and greeted him with a smile. "Long time no see, Solomon Reed. Or should I call you Bloodsport?"

Heimdall: (⊙﹏⊙)?

Hearing Li Ang address him that way, Heimdall looked utterly bewildered. He did know who Li Ang was; he had been watching everything since Thor descended to the lower realm.

But why was he calling him that?
