• Li Ge named his miniature universe the Nine Heavens and returned to Apocalypse, while Peter, Harry, and Gwen Stacy learned more about his secrets and were invited to receive abilities.
• Apocalypse discovered Mjolnir in Mexico and brought Tony and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to watch Thor fail to lift it, then took Thor to the Nine Heavens.
• Apocalypse challenged Thor to find his power within himself and sent him to climb the lightning-struck mountain in the Thunder Domain.

Apocalypse exposed Hydra’s infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D. and helped Harry capture Flint Marko before opening the Nine Heavens to S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and mutants. The agents gained power and prepared to purge Hydra, while mutant trials continued and Apocalypse brought Thor and Loki together at the temple.

• Apocalypse told Nick Fury and Steve that Grant Ward and John Garrett belonged to Hydra, while Harry and Peter captured Flint Marko after a fight in New York.
• Apocalypse created the King Fruit Tree, then took Nick Fury, Coulson, Natasha, and Barton into the First Heaven to undergo its trial.
• Grant Ward pledged himself to Apocalypse, became the First Heaven’s priest, and guided the agents through the trial to the Temple of Contracts, where they received contracts and King Fruits.

Apocalypse recruited Logan and Magneto to take control of the Sentinel threat, then built Raven a living armor suit and sent her to attack Trask’s facility. After Charles tried to persuade Apocalypse to destroy the Sentinel research and negotiate, Apocalypse challenged his idea of balance and left him alone in a fading mental world.

• Apocalypse offered Nick Fury a malice-detecting artifact to help uncover Hydra agents, then gave Harry permission to share information with Norman and invited him to take the First Heaven trial.
• Li Ge sent Sif to Midgard to learn from Natasha and traveled to Nidavellir to work with Eitri on forging artifacts for the Nine Heavens.
• Apocalypse brought Logan, Tony, and the mutants through a portal, but Logan’s time travel redirected them to the Days of Future Past timeline.
• Apocalypse showed Logan and Professor Charles the mutants’ grim future and proposed turning Sentinels into armor, then erased their memories and recruited Logan and Magneto for the plan.
