Chapters 101–125 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 101Breaking the curse (2)

Bobby, Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui broke Lilith’s witness spell, freeing the trapped ghosts but failing to restore the broken seal. Castiel revealed that the Apocalypse had begun, and the group prepared to keep fighting as Bai Haorui worried over Heaven’s plans for Dean and Sam’s growing instability.

  • Dean was overwhelmed by Henriksen’s account of the witnesses’ torture and blamed himself for their deaths.
  • Bobby began the counter-spell, and Bai Haorui strengthened its flames with Pure Yang True Fire before Dean threw the burning bowl into the fireplace.
  • The blue flames destroyed Lilith’s spell and freed Meg, Henriksen, Ronald, the two little girls, and the other bound ghosts, while Bobby, Dean, and Sam collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Castiel appeared to Dean in a dream and explained that Lilith had broken one of the sixty-six seals, which could never be restored, and that the remaining seals would release Lucifer and bring the Apocalypse.
  • Dean and Sam agreed they had to keep fighting Lilith, while Bobby and Bai Haorui discussed the dangers ahead and Bai Haorui considered the angels’ plans for Dean and Sam.

Ch. 102Back to the past

Sam secretly left to meet Ruby and gain more power to stop the Apocalypse, while Bai Haorui intervened when Castiel came for Dean. Castiel transported Dean and Bai Haorui to Lawrence in 1973, where Dean realized he might be able to prevent his family’s tragedy.

  • Sam left the motel to meet Ruby after she warned that Lilith was breaking the seals and Dean and Bai Haorui could die without Sam’s power.
  • Bai Haorui sensed Castiel’s arrival and blocked him from touching Dean with a barrier of Pure Yang True Fire.
  • Bai Haorui insisted on accompanying Dean, and Castiel agreed before sending them both through time.
  • Dean and Bai Haorui woke in Lawrence, Kansas, on April 30, 1973, more than forty years in the past.
  • Dean realized they had arrived before his parents met and hoped he could prevent Mary’s death and the Yellow-Eyed Demon’s plan.

Ch. 103Mom was a hunter too

Dean and Bai Haorui traveled back to 1973 Lawrence, where Dean met his young parents and learned that Mary was already a hunter. After Mary brought them to her family’s home, Dean and Bai Haorui prepared to tell Samuel about the Yellow-Eyed Demon and the danger in Lawrence.

  • Dean met young John at the Jaybird Diner and learned that a demon had marked him; Castiel told Dean to stop something before vanishing.
  • Dean persuaded John to buy the Impala instead of a van, then watched John reunite with Mary and propose to her.
  • Mary caught Dean following her, fought him, and discovered that he knew about her anti-possession bracelet; Dean and Bai Haorui warned her about a demon operating in Lawrence.
  • Mary brought Dean and Bai Haorui to the Campbell home, where Samuel tested Dean’s hunter knowledge and Deanna welcomed them to dinner.

Ch. 104The Plan

Dean and Bai Haorui convinced Samuel that the Wilt Farm killings were the work of Azazel and traveled to Colorado to borrow the Colt from Daniel Elkins. They returned to Lawrence and arrived at Liddy Walsh’s home with Mary and Samuel, where Bai Haorui sensed Azazel waiting inside.

  • Bai Haorui impressed Samuel with his hunting knowledge, and Dean recognized the Wilt Farm killing as Azazel’s work.
  • Dean and Bai Haorui explained Azazel’s pattern and warned that he would target Liddy Walsh’s family in Hollyville; Samuel agreed to confront him.
  • Mary told Dean she planned to accept John’s proposal, and Dean urged her to stay in bed on the night of November 2, 1983.
  • Dean and Bai Haorui drove to Daniel Elkins’s cabin, where Daniel lent them the Colt gun to kill Azazel.
  • Dean and Bai Haorui returned to the Campbell house, and Mary and Samuel joined them to go to Liddy’s home.
  • At the Walsh house, Bai Haorui sensed Azazel possessing a man inside, near Liddy and her terminally ill husband.

Ch. 105Yellow Eyes proved hard to handle

Dean and Bai Haorui tried to stop Azazel from targeting Mary, but Azazel escaped and killed Deanna and Samuel before Dean could prevent the tragedy. Mary grieved with John by the river as he opened a ring box for her.

  • Dean watched Azazel make a deal with Liddy, then joined Bai Haorui, Samuel, and Mary in an attempt to trap and kill the demon.
  • Azazel escaped the Walshes' house after Bai Haorui burned him with true fire, and Dean confessed to Samuel that he was Mary's son from the future.
  • The group returned to the Campbell home and found Deanna dead, while Azazel possessed Samuel and revealed his plans for Mary's children.
  • Bai Haorui wounded Azazel with true fire, but Azazel stabbed Samuel and escaped, leaving Samuel to die in Dean's arms.
  • Mary mourned her parents with Dean, and John later took her to the river and opened a ring box.

Ch. 106Parallel universes

Dean and Bai Haorui helped Mary, John, and Samuel defeat Azazel in a parallel universe, but Castiel revealed that their victory could not change Dean’s timeline and that Sam had been drinking demon blood. Back in their own world, Dean resolved to find Sam, while he and Bai Haorui secretly watched Sam confront a demon for information about Lilith.

  • Azazel killed John and tried to persuade Mary to make a deal, but Dean and Bai Haorui interrupted before she agreed.
  • Samuel forced Azazel out of his body, and Bai Haorui trapped the demon in a true-fire formation while Dean destroyed him with the Colt; John survived because Bai Haorui had protected him.
  • Castiel told Dean that the events had occurred in a parallel universe and revealed that Azazel had fed Sam demon blood since infancy, then sent Dean and Bai Haorui back to their own timeline.
  • Dean grieved that he could not save Mary in his world, then resolved to find Sam after learning Sam was working with Ruby and drinking demon blood.
  • Sam met Ruby and interrogated a possessed man for Lilith’s whereabouts as Dean and Bai Haorui secretly watched from the warehouse’s second floor.

Ch. 107Rugaru

Dean confronted Sam about using demon blood and working with Ruby, but the brothers agreed to handle a case in Carthage, Missouri before resolving their conflict. They investigated Jake Montgomery, whom Travis identified as a Rugaru, while Bai Haorui sensed that Jake was resisting his awakening hunger.

  • Sam used demonic power to exorcise a possessed man, and Dean stormed in and attacked Ruby before demanding an explanation from Sam.
  • Bai Haorui warned Ruby to stay away from Sam and threatened her with Pure Yang True Fire if she continued pushing him toward corruption.
  • Dean and Sam argued about Sam's demon-blood power, and Dean admitted that he feared losing his brother but did not blame him for Azazel's actions when he was a baby.
  • Sam received a call from Travis about a case in Carthage, Missouri, and Dean agreed to postpone their argument until after they handled it.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui watched Jake Montgomery eat ravenously, and Bai Haorui sensed that Jake's soul remained clean as a bestial bloodline awakened within him.
  • Travis told the brothers that Jake was a Rugaru, a creature that appeared ordinary until it transformed into a man-eater.

Ch. 108Jake's Resolve

Sam argued that Jake should be warned and given the chance to resist becoming a Rugaru, while Dean and Travis feared he would soon endanger others. After learning the truth, Jake fled his hunger and tried to protect Michelle, but the chapter ended with him losing control and frightening her.

  • Travis explained that a Rugaru transformed after eating human flesh and revealed that Jake was the son of the Rugaru he had killed in 1978.
  • Sam defended Jake and challenged Dean over whether someone born with a monster’s nature deserved to die, while Bai Haorui encouraged Sam to trust Jake’s ability to choose.
  • Jake nearly attacked Michelle when he saw her bleeding finger, then crushed a man’s fingers at a bar before fleeing in fear of his growing strength.
  • Sam and Dean told Jake that he was a Rugaru and warned him that eating human flesh would complete his transformation; Jake rejected them and ordered them out.
  • Jake acknowledged that the hunters’ claims fit what he had experienced and resolved not to hurt Michelle, but he kissed her roughly and struggled against the urge to bite her before she pushed him away in fear.

Ch. 109Beyond His Control

Jake resisted his hunger until Travis threatened Michelle and her unborn child, then transformed into a Rugaru after killing and eating a homeless man. Bai Haorui killed Jake after he lost all reason, and the tragedy led Sam to decide to quit using his power and drinking demon blood.

  • Jake fled Michelle and resisted breaking into a woman's home, while Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui watched and debated whether Jake could control himself.
  • Travis threatened Michelle and her unborn baby to provoke Jake; Jake transformed and attacked Travis, but Bai Haorui intervened before Jake escaped into the backstreets.
  • Jake killed and ate a homeless man, transformed fully into a Rugaru, and knocked Dean and Sam unconscious before Bai Haorui subdued him.
  • Sam tried to reach Jake, but Bai Haorui sensed Jake's soul had been corrupted and burned him to ash after he lost control completely.
  • Michelle mourned Jake as a good man, and Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui left before the police arrived.
  • On the drive away, Dean apologized to Sam, and Sam resolved to stop using his power and drinking demon blood.

Ch. 110Strange Happenings in a Small Town

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui investigated Marissa Wright’s blood-drained murder during an Oktoberfest and questioned the witness, Ed Brewer, who described a killer dressed and speaking exactly like Dracula from a movie. Bai Haorui found no supernatural traces on the victim or Ed, leaving the team to investigate a monster that could imitate its appearance while hiding its true aura.

  • Dean welcomed the chance to hunt a vampire, while Sam remained troubled by the approaching Apocalypse and Bai Haorui understood why Dean needed a familiar case.
  • The three men met Sheriff Dietrich at the Oktoberfest and examined Marissa Wright’s body, finding precise puncture wounds but no clear supernatural residue.
  • Dean and Sam questioned Ed Brewer at the bar, where Jamie directed them to the witness and Dean flirted with her.
  • Ed told the agents he had seen a Dracula-like attacker bite Marissa and quoted the line, “Stay back, mortal! The night is mine!”
  • Bai Haorui concluded that Ed was telling the truth and suspected the killer could imitate monsters while concealing its own aura.
  • Jamie defended Ed to Lucy, who dismissed his account as nonsense and teased Jamie about his crush on her.

Ch. 111Creatures from the Movies

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui investigated a series of killings that recreated classic movie monsters, finding evidence of a powerful creature that left no supernatural traces. As the hunters continued their investigation, a mummy appeared at a museum and killed a security guard.

  • Dean dismissed the vampire case as an ordinary homicide but welcomed the chance to hunt monsters and flirt with Jamie while Sam returned to the hotel.
  • A werewolf resembling Lon Chaney’s movie monster attacked Anna-Mary and tore Rick Deacon apart in a parking lot.
  • Sam and Dean interviewed Anna-Mary, then examined Rick’s body and found that his heart was intact despite the brutal wounds.
  • Sheriff Dietrich brought canine hair from the crime scene, and Bai Haorui determined that it was ordinary wolf hair and the wounds showed no supernatural traces.
  • Dean and Bai Haorui made plans to meet Jamie and Isabella while the hunters continued searching for the creature behind the movie-inspired attacks.
  • A mummy emerged from a stone coffin in a museum, ignored a security guard’s gunshots, and strangled him.

Ch. 112The movie-loving shapeshifter

Dean and Bai Haorui identified the movie-themed killer as a shapeshifter after Dean tore off Dracula’s ear, while Sam and Bai Haorui mistakenly investigated Ed Brewer. After Lucy drugged Dean and Jamie, she revealed herself as the shapeshifter and prepared her final showdown.

  • Dean rescued Jamie from Dracula, fought him, and tore off his ear, revealing the tissue of a shapeshifter.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui connected the Dracula, werewolf, and mummy attacks to one killer who staged scenes from monster movies, and Jamie identified Ed Brewer as a suspicious theater projectionist.
  • Sam confronted Ed at the movie theater, but Bai Haorui sensed that Ed was an ordinary person and the two left.
  • Dean stayed with Jamie at the bar, where Lucy joined them, drugged their drinks, and knocked them unconscious.
  • Lucy revealed her shapeshifter nature, kept her form, and declared that she had captured the hero and bride for her movie’s final showdown.

Ch. 113Curtain call

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui rescued Jamie from the shapeshifter who believed himself to be Dracula, and Jamie killed him with a silver bullet. After saying goodbye to Jamie, the group left together, resolved to take the initiative against Lilith and the Apocalypse.

  • Dracula held Dean captive and forced Jamie to prepare for their wedding, but Sam and Bai Haorui burst in to rescue her.
  • Bai Haorui used his peachwood sword and Pure Yang True Fire to wound Dracula and keep him away from Jamie while Sam freed Dean.
  • Sam and Dean returned to the bedroom, where Jamie took Dean's gun and shot Dracula with a silver bullet, killing him.
  • Dean and Jamie kissed and said goodbye, and Jamie thanked Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui for saving her.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui left in the Impala, agreeing to work together and stop Lilith from breaking more seals.

Ch. 114Investigation

Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui investigated a string of heart-attack deaths in Maumee and found that the victims had been overwhelmed by fear. Bai Haorui suspected Dean had been affected by the same force, and Dean’s growing terror and scratches suggested he was becoming the next victim.

  • Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui examined Frank O'Brien’s body, where they found unexplained scratches and a hostile aura that Bai Haorui sensed was rooted in terror.
  • The sheriff described Frank’s fear and showed signs of anxiety himself, while Bai Haorui detected the hostile aura within him.
  • Dean avoided teenagers and panicked at Mark Hutchins’s lizards and snakes, so Bai Haorui used a Calming Talisman and Pure Yang True Fire to protect him.
  • Mark told Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui that Frank had feared nearly everything and that he had changed after his wife died.
  • Later, Dean scratched his arm until it bled, leaving marks like Frank’s, and Sam and Bai Haorui joined him in the Impala.

Ch. 115Symptoms

Dean contracted ghost sickness from Frank’s corpse, and the disease drove him into escalating fear while Sam and Bai Haorui traced its source to an abandoned sawmill. They identified Luther Garland as the likely ghost and learned Sheriff Britton was infected too, leaving the group racing to uncover Luther’s death before the sheriff succumbed.

  • Dean’s strange behavior and a surging EMF reading revealed that he had been infected with ghost sickness, which Bobby and Bai Haorui identified as a disease spread by a resentful spirit.
  • Sam explained that Dean had about twenty-four hours before the sickness caused cardiac arrest, and Bai Haorui gave him a talisman that temporarily calmed his fear.
  • Dean’s scratches and the wood shavings he coughed up led Sam to conclude that the ghost was making him relive its death, so the group searched an abandoned sawmill.
  • Sam found Frank’s wedding ring and a badge belonging to Luther Garland, and tearing down Jessie’s portrait caused the sawmill’s machinery to start and revealed a chained ghost.
  • Dean fled the sawmill in terror while Bai Haorui pursued him and soothed the sickness; afterward, Deputy Linus supplied Luther’s file, and Sheriff Britton’s radio message revealed that he was hallucinating and infected.
  • Bai Haorui sensed that Sheriff Britton was near the same critical condition as Frank, and Sam decided they had to find Luther’s older brother to learn how Luther died.

Ch. 116Even ghosts knew fear

Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui learned that Luther Garland had been murdered by Frank O'Brien and used a talisman-inscribed chain to destroy Luther’s ghost and end the Ghost Sickness. Dean survived, but his hallucinations revealed his fear of Hell and Sam’s possible future, while the brothers and Bai Haorui left knowing the Apocalypse was drawing closer.

  • Mr. Garland told Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui that Frank O'Brien had dragged Luther to death, while Sheriff Britton had helped cover up the murder.
  • As Dean’s Ghost Sickness worsened, Bai Haorui steadied him with Pure Yang True Fire and helped him through hallucinations of Sam as the Yellow-Eyed Demon and Lilith.
  • Bobby identified the ghost as a Buru Buru and explained that it could be destroyed by confronting it with its greatest fear; Bai Haorui made a Soul-Locking Talisman for a chain.
  • Sam and Bobby dragged Luther’s spirit along the road with the enchanted chain, and Luther’s ghost dissipated, ending Dean’s infection.
  • Sheriff Britton attacked Dean at the motel and died of a heart attack, while Dean’s final hallucination of Lilith vanished when Luther was destroyed.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui celebrated with Bobby, then drove away as Dean hid what he had seen and Sam struggled with his feelings about Ruby.

Ch. 117Halloween

Luke Wallace and Jenny were killed in supernatural attacks tied to a witch’s blood-sacrifice ritual. Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui discovered the witch was preparing to summon Samhain on Halloween, with one sacrifice still remaining.

  • Luke Wallace died after eating candy containing razor blades, and Bai Haorui sensed black magic as the Impala entered town.
  • Sam and Dean found a hex bag at the Wallace home, while Bai Haorui identified its contents as part of a blood-sacrifice ritual.
  • Jenny drowned in boiling water at a Halloween party, and Bai Haorui sensed that Tracy carried an aura linked to the hex bag.
  • Sam and Dean found another hex bag and learned from Tracy’s party that the witch’s spell had claimed a second victim.
  • Sam identified the ritual as a plan to summon Samhain, requiring three sacrifices before midnight on Halloween, and warned that the demon could summon the dead.

Ch. 118Uriel

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui discovered that Tracy Davis was the witch behind the hex bags and learned that resurrecting Samhain would break one of the seals holding Lucifer. Castiel and Uriel arrived and announced they would destroy the town to protect the seal, and the chapter ended with Bai Haorui fighting Uriel after shielding Sam from his attack.

  • Dean spotted Tracy Davis entering the Wallaces' home and realized she had lied about knowing Luke Wallace.
  • Sam found that Tracy had been suspended after a violent confrontation with art teacher Don Harding, and Bai Haorui sensed the hex bags' bone-burning aura lingering in the kiln.
  • Castiel and Uriel entered the motel room, where Castiel purified a hex bag and explained that Samhain's resurrection threatened one of the sixty-six seals.
  • Uriel announced that he would destroy the town and its 1,214 residents to keep Lucifer imprisoned, prompting Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui to oppose him.
  • Uriel attacked Sam, but Bai Haorui intercepted the holy light and fought Uriel with his True Fire Sky-Splitting Slash and other techniques.
  • Uriel caught Bai Haorui's fist and sword and prepared to strike his chest with a powerful palm.

Ch. 119Another seal broken

Bai Haorui was badly wounded by Uriel, who left after Castiel gave Dean until midnight to stop the witch before the angels cleansed the city. Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui uncovered Tracy as the witch and Samhain’s summoning succeeded; they set out for the cemetery to stop him from raising the dead.

  • Bai Haorui fought Uriel but suffered severe meridian damage, and Castiel ordered Uriel to wait until midnight before cleansing the city.
  • Sam traced the charred infant bone to Don Harding’s kiln, and Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui went to Don’s basement.
  • Sam shot Don while he was about to sacrifice Tracy, but Tracy revealed she was the six-hundred-year-old witch and used Don’s blood to summon Samhain.
  • Samhain emerged from Don’s corpse, killed Tracy, and left the basement after mistaking Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui for dead.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui realized Samhain was heading to the cemetery to summon the dead, and Dean drove them there.

Ch. 120The cemetery

Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui stopped Samhain’s attack on the town, but Sam’s use of his powers angered Uriel, while Castiel revealed that Dean’s choices had been a test. After the brothers and Bai Haorui drove on, a strange invisible boy appeared in Candice’s bathroom, and Sam questioned Dean about what Uriel had said he remembered from Hell.

  • Dean drove Sam and Bai Haorui to the cemetery, where Samhain trapped teenagers in a mausoleum and unleashed undead creatures on them.
  • Sam went after Samhain while Dean and Bai Haorui rescued the teenagers, and Sam used his powers to rip Samhain’s demonic essence from Don and send it to Hell.
  • Uriel confronted Sam about using his powers, threatened him and Dean, and exchanged a defiant warning with Bai Haorui before vanishing.
  • Castiel told Dean that the angels had been ordered to follow Dean’s commands and explained that they had been testing his decisions; Dean said he would choose to save the town again.
  • On the road, Dean thanked Sam for saving the town, and Sam promised he could control his powers; later, an invisible teenage boy appeared in Candice’s bathroom and revealed himself when she caught him beneath a towel.
  • At a bar, Sam asked Dean why Uriel had claimed he remembered Hell, while Bai Haorui listened from their booth.

Ch. 121Bigfoot?

Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui investigated a supposed haunting and then followed reports of Bigfoot in Concrete, where they found enormous tracks and evidence of a liquor-store break-in. Their trail led to Audrey, who revealed that Bigfoot was her sick teddy bear and brought them to her bedroom to meet him.

  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui dismissed the reported gym ghost after Candice admitted it had helped her up, then heard Gus claim Bigfoot had attacked him.
  • Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui followed Gus into the woods, found enormous fresh footprints, and Bai Haorui sensed that their maker had no ordinary life force or supernatural aura.
  • The tracks led to a liquor store that had been broken into, where the trio found stolen sweet liquor and adult magazines.
  • The trio followed Audrey after she returned a box of liquor and magazines to the store, and she told them Bigfoot was her sick teddy bear.
  • Audrey led Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui upstairs and knocked on her bedroom door to introduce them to Teddy.

Ch. 122The wishing coin

Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui investigated a wishing fountain that twisted people’s wishes into disasters and discovered it was powered by a cursed Babylonian coin. They learned that only the first person who wished at the fountain could remove the coin and reverse the wishes, while Teddy’s despair continued to worsen.

  • Audrey told Sam and Dean that she had wished for a living teddy bear, and they found Teddy drunk and despairing in her bedroom.
  • Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui investigated the wishing fountain, where Dean wished for an extra-long hot dog and got sick after eating it.
  • Bai Haorui identified a cursed Babylonian coin bearing Tiamat’s symbol beneath the fountain, and Dean failed to pry it loose even with a crowbar and hammer.
  • Sam and Bai Haorui caught a teenager using invisibility, granted by a fountain wish, to spy on a woman showering.
  • Dean researched the coin and told Sam and Bai Haorui that only the first person to make a wish could remove it and reverse the wishes.
  • At Audrey’s house, a message on Teddy’s whiteboard read, “Life is meaningless.—Teddy bear.”

Ch. 123Resolution

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui stopped the cursed coin’s wishes from escalating, but Wes lost Hope when the magic was undone. As they left town, Dean admitted he remembered Hell but refused to tell Sam what he had endured.

  • Bai Haorui explained that the magic-created teddy bear could not die, while Dean recognized its despair as something he understood from Hell.
  • Sam and Dean traced the wishes to Wes, who admitted he had used the coin to make Hope fall in love with him, and they urged him to retrieve it.
  • Todd’s powers spiraled out of control, so Dean distracted him while Sam took Wes to Lucky Chin’s Chinese Restaurant; Hope wished Sam dead with a lightning bolt.
  • Wes removed the coin from the fountain, reversing the town’s wishes and restoring Sam, but Hope no longer recognized Wes and left him alone.
  • Bai Haorui destroyed the coin’s curse, and Dean confessed to Sam that he remembered everything about Hell but would never describe it.
  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui drove out of town, with Bai Haorui silently reassuring Dean as Sam rode beside him.

Ch. 124Angel Channel Receiver

Anna Milton escaped a psychiatric ward after revealing that she knew about Lilith’s plan to break sixty-six seals and free Lucifer. Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui investigated her and discovered that her sketches accurately recorded events in the Apocalypse, while traces in her ward suggested the angels were involved too.

  • Anna Milton warned her psychiatrist about the Apocalypse, then used telekinetic power to knock out a demon disguised as an orderly and escape.
  • Ruby told Sam, Dean, and Bai Haorui that demons were hunting Anna and had orders to capture her alive, so Sam persuaded Dean to investigate.
  • On the drive, Sam and Dean argued about Ruby and the time they had spent apart, while Bai Haorui urged them to focus on finding Anna.
  • The disguised hunters questioned Anna’s psychiatrist and found sketches that matched seals and events they had encountered, including the Samhain Festival and the Rise of the Witnesses.
  • Bai Haorui detected traces of demonic, telekinetic, and angelic power in Anna’s ward, and the group concluded that she knew important details about the Apocalypse.

Ch. 125Alastair

Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui found Anna hiding in a church attic and learned she could hear angel communications, beginning the day Dean returned from Hell. Alastair arrived and overwhelmed Sam, but Bai Haorui fought him until Sam rejoined the fight and froze Alastair with his power.

  • Dean, Sam, and Bai Haorui found Anna's parents murdered and traced her repeated drawings of a church window to the church where she was hiding.
  • Anna recognized the three men and explained that she had been hearing angel radio since the day Dean returned from Hell, when she heard that Dean Winchester was saved.
  • Ruby arrived and warned them that Alastair was tracking them; after blood flowed from an angel statue, Alastair entered the attic and Sam hid Anna in a closet.
  • Sam's exorcism failed, and Alastair threw him down the stairs before confronting Dean and triggering his memories of torture in Hell.
  • Bai Haorui attacked Alastair with his peachwood sword and Pure Yang True Fire, wounding him but taking a heavy blow in return.
  • As Alastair raised a black-magic battle-axe against Bai Haorui, Sam returned, fired salt rounds, and used his power to freeze Alastair.
