Flender finally lost his patience and roared.
He was, after all, the Flying Corner, leader of the Golden Iron Triangle that had once been renowned throughout the world. Even if he had now retired to the countryside, a little girl had no business riding roughshod over him.
As Flender's roar rang out, Shrek Academy fell silent.
Everyone stopped and looked up at Flender.
Even Chen Ci was no exception, though he certainly had not been intimidated by Flender.
Rather, after what Ning Rongrong had said, his original purpose in coming to Shrek was about to be achieved-but only half of it.
Getting Ning Rongrong to leave Shrek willingly had been his main purpose in coming along to Shrek.
Taking Zhu Zhuqing away and tempering Ning Rongrong's disposition had been secondary goals.
Now, achieving his main goal was a nail already hammered into the board.
As for Zhu Zhuqing, Chen Ci believed she had already been somewhat disgusted with Dai Mubai, and the three Shrek monsters were all jackals from the same hill.
Her leaving Shrek should therefore pose no problem, but whether she would go with him to the Heaven Dou Empire, whose relations with the Star Luo Empire were rather tense, remained unclear.
As for tempering Ning Rongrong's disposition, there was probably no hope of that.
But that did not really matter. He would pamper his own girl himself; Ning Rongrong had always obeyed his every wish anyway.
Suddenly, after a brief silence, Ning Rongrong spoke again:
"Flender, do you think having high Soul Power and a loud voice makes you something special?
"Others might fear a Soul Saint like you, but our Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect doesn't!"

Why had the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect raised a monster like this?
Flender was close to tearing his hair out. He really could do nothing about this Little Demoness.
As for the others, Oscar and Dai Mubai had long since been humiliated beyond showing their faces, while Chen Ci, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong were on the same side.
Tang San and Xiao Wu had only just arrived and would not readily take sides. Besides, Ning Rongrong's furious tirade had given them some understanding of Shrek's students.
They had already begun to consider leaving Shrek Academy.
In the end, Flender said helplessly:
"Ning Rongrong, since you have so many complaints about our Shrek Academy, please leave Shrek Academy.
"Our Shrek Academy does not welcome you!
"As of now, I, Flender, in my capacity as dean of Shrek Academy, hereby expel you from Shrek!"
"Hmph, fine, I'll leave!"
Ning Rongrong did not indulge Flender either. She took Chen Ci's hand, looked at him, and said:
"Brother Chen Ci, let's go!"
Chen Ci held Ning Rongrong's hand and said:
"Not so fast."
At those words, everyone's gaze immediately converged on Chen Ci, especially Flender's.
If possible, he certainly did not want a genius like Chen Ci to leave.
Could there still be a turn for the better?
Unfortunately, Flender was simply overthinking things.
Chen Ci looked at Flender, his eyes bright and piercing, as though they held boundlessly sharp sword light.

"Dean Flender, you're not expelling us from Shrek Academy. Rather, your Shrek Academy fails to live up to its name. We think nothing of Shrek Academy and are leaving of our own accord.
"Those are two different things."
Ning Rongrong's blue-glazed eyes rolled in their sockets as she considered his words and found them very reasonable.
That's my Brother Chen Ci. He's amazing!
Then Ning Rongrong chimed in:
"Exactly!
"Brother Chen Ci is right. You're not expelling us from Shrek. We're leaving Shrek of our own accord!"
Hearing this gave Flender another headache. He no longer wanted to say anything; he only wanted to send these two little ancestors away as quickly as possible.
If this went on, Shrek's reputation would be utterly ruined.
Whether he could even continue running the academy in Suotuo City would be uncertain!
Flender took a deep breath and said:
"Fine, fine, fine. Your talents are simply too outstanding. Our Shrek Academy cannot accommodate two true dragons like you.
"You're leaving of your own accord, rather than being expelled from the academy by us."
Only then did Ning Rongrong say in satisfaction:
"Hmph, that's more like it.
"Brother Chen Ci, let's go!"
Chen Ci said again:
"Wait."
Then Chen Ci looked at Zhu Zhuqing and asked:
"Zhu Zhuqing, Rongrong and I are leaving Shrek. Barring any surprises, we'll be heading to Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
"What are your plans? If you're feeling a little lost, why not come to Heaven Dou City with us?"

Just then, Dai Mubai, who had remained in a frozen state, suddenly snapped back to his senses upon hearing this.

"Boss Dai, looks like the girl you've got your eye on is about to run off with someone else."
Hearing this, Dai Mubai once again seethed with anger.
His fiancée was angering him, and now his good brother was doing it too.
"Shut up, you tactless idiot."
"Oh."
Oscar slunk back to his sausage cart stall. He had never been well liked at Shrek anyway, so he was used to it.
Still, he was a little puzzled. Why did Boss Dai care so much about this girl? Given Boss Dai's disposition, shouldn't women be like clothes to him?

Oscar leaned over the cart, watching the main battlefield as he entered melon-eating mode.
Zhu Zhuqing said to Chen Ci:

This fellow was quite a stand-up guy. If he hadn't said that, Zhu Zhuqing might not have come along to Heaven Dou City.
Chen Ci nodded and said with a smile:
"Good. Then Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, let's go.
"There's no need to stay here any longer."
Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing said in unison:
"All right."
The three left Shrek Academy together and set off down the road to Heaven Dou City.
Seeing the three approach, Tang San and Xiao Wu stepped aside and watched them leave.
Once the three had gone far away, Xiao Wu said to Tang San:
"Brother, should we stay or leave?"
