Royal and Body Sect Background

Vina is a princess of the Heavenly Soul Empire and a gifted disciple of the Body Sect. She grew up alongside Long Aotian, the sect’s young master, and their parents intended to arrange an engagement between them. This arrangement had not become a completed engagement when she met Luo Feng 4 5.

Meeting Luo Feng

During a Soul Ring hunt in the Ming Dou Mountain Range, Vina and her companions were attacked by a twenty-thousand-year Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear. Separated from her guards, she reached Luo Feng’s campsite in torn clothing and asked for medical supplies and help rescuing her companions. Despite her own condition, she warned him to flee when the bear arrived 4.

Luo Feng defeated the bear and offered her its final blow and Soul Ring. Vina initially hesitated because its Power Attack attributes did not suit her Martial Souls, but accepted it for her Second Awakening. His strength, generosity, and indifference to imperial rewards prompted her to invite him to become the empire’s prince consort. He refused because he wanted to continue traveling and climbing mountains 5.

The two subsequently became intimate. Vina agreed not to demand his immediate return to the empire, instead asking him to take responsibility for their relationship. After he accepted, she offered to guide him to the mountain range’s highest peak 6.

Ming Dou Border Conflict

Vina ordered her reunited guards to accompany Luo Feng despite warnings about nearby Star Luo and Sun Moon forces. When they encountered Ju Zi’s survey team, Luo Feng persuaded Vina to withdraw while he handled the confrontation 6.

Rather than abandon him, Vina sought help from the White Tiger Duke, Dai Hao. She later reached Luo Feng just as he prepared to use Mountain Suppression against Dai Hao’s soldiers. Her explanation that the duke was an ally persuaded him to cancel the attack and release Dai Hao from his quicksand 9 10.

After the subsequent capture of Fire Phoenix Douluo, Vina offered to accompany Luo Feng to the Heavenly Spirit Mountain Range. Her guards objected because the emperor had already ordered her return. She ultimately went home after Luo Feng promised to visit, declaring that she would ask her father to recognize him as her prince consort regardless of his cultivation rank 12 13.

Palace Reunion and Engagement

Before Luo Feng’s arrival in the Heavenly Soul Empire, Vina had his portraits posted at border checkpoints to ensure he would be recognized. When he reached her residence with Snow Empress, Ice Empress, Wang Dong, and Ma Xiaotao, Mu Xue reported that Vina had developed nausea and gone for a prenatal examination 37.

Vina welcomed all four women, embraced Luo Feng, and kissed him publicly. When Long Aotian confronted him and a court guardian exerted pressure on the visitors, she asserted her authority and announced that she would show her husband around the palace before introducing the group to her father 37.

Luo Feng’s victory over Du Busi secured the Body Sect’s agreement not to interfere in their engagement. Vina publicly declared that she would marry no one else, then proposed an alliance led by the Tianwen Empire. Dai Hao pledged Star Luo’s support, and Du Busi also agreed to join; the group planned to approach the Dou Ling Empire and Shrek Academy next 39 40.

Vina is approachable despite her royal status. Her concern for others appears during her first encounter with Luo Feng: frightened and exhausted, she still warns the apparent stranger to escape the pursuing bear. She also hesitates to use its valuable Soul Ring for an awakening because she considers that potentially wasteful 4 5.

In romance, she is direct, affectionate, and persistent. She proposes making Luo Feng her prince consort soon after meeting him, but later accepts that he will not immediately settle at court. Her loyalty extends beyond declarations: she seeks military assistance rather than leave him surrounded by enemy forces 5 6 9.

She can also be possessive. Ju Zi’s physical closeness to Luo Feng provokes open jealousy, and her public kiss during their palace reunion partly serves to assert her position before his other companions. Nevertheless, she welcomes those women into her residence rather than excluding them 11 37.
