Background / History
Dragon Court is an ancient and highly secretive force within the World Sea. Its records are scarce even in the Starfall Ancient Realm, and it is explicitly not merely an organization of dragon-blooded cultivators, despite its name and associations with dragon lineages 285 291.
According to envoy Yun Shi'an, the Dragon Emperor rose during the universe’s barbaric age and founded Dragon Court after the Sacred Dynasty’s Heavenly Lord established the Primordial Sacred Dynasty. Dragon Court therefore presents itself as the universe’s rightful orthodox lineage and a counterweight to the dynasty founded by outsiders from beyond the heavens 320.
Its earliest inheritance is linked to an enigmatic progenitor. The Sacred Dragon Emperor states that Dragon Court’s foundational legacy came from the master of a stone-statue progenitor, a figure who did not originally belong to Dragon Court; he further credits the progenitor with guiding the sect’s rise under pressure from the Sacred Dynasty 521 525.
Providence and Reincarnation
Fortune-Based Cultivation

Reopening Reincarnation
Dragon Court made reopening reincarnation a central political and spiritual undertaking.
- Venerable Xuantian sacrificed twenty million years of cultivation, his body, and more than half of Dragon Court’s providence to reopen reincarnation 373 374.
- The act brought a universe-wide heavenly blessing in the form of golden rain that increased cultivators’ strength 373 374.
- Dragon Court’s providence rapidly recovered and surpassed its prior bottleneck after reincarnation reopened 374.
- Gu Lingxi, the Lady of Rebirth, controls the new cycle of reincarnation and holds an exceptionally high status within Dragon Court 405.
Creation Illustration
Dragon Court possesses or protects the Creation Illustration, a Heaven-Opening supreme treasure sought by external powers.
- The illustration can vastly amplify its wielder; it raised the Sacred Dragon Emperor from the early Mixed Origin Great Luo Realm to the late Other Shore Realm 530.
- Five Other Shore Realm experts later demanded the treasure from Dragon Court, prompting the Sacred Dragon Emperor and his allies to refuse 534.
- Void Spirit Immortal King attempted to destroy the Primeval Great World and Dragon Court to force the illustration’s wielder to reveal themselves 534.
Organization
Sacred Dragon Emperor
The Sacred Dragon Emperor served as Dragon Court’s ruler and public military center.
- He presided over Dragon Court assemblies from an imperial throne, surrounded by Great Luo powerhouses and Dharma Form incarnations 405.

- He was later empowered through the Creation Illustration to confront Other Shore Realm enemies 530.
- His eventual death caused Dragon Court’s strength and prestige to decline sharply 553 575.

- Her second-rank providence fruition and control of reincarnation give her a lofty internal position 405.
