Background

Luo Chen’s village was slaughtered by Demonic Beasts, leaving him before his parents’ graves after personally killing a Bone Forging Blood Ape and gaining seventy years of Lifespan. Liu Xingsheng took him in as his successor, giving him a home in Liu Manor and beginning his martial instruction 1.

At sixteen, Luo Chen mastered the Basic Blade Art under Liu Xingsheng. He soon discovered that Lifespan could be expended to evolve cultivation methods and martial arts, allowing him to advance at an unprecedented rate 2. He joined the Qingyuan City Demon Suppression Bureau both to avenge his village and to acquire the resources needed to continue cultivating 3.
