Upon entering the Rose Hotel, the first thing they noticed was the scent of roses greeting their noses. The refreshing fragrance carried a hint of intimacy, soothing both body and mind.
The hotel's interior used only three colors: white, silver, and rose red. Warm and distinctive, its elegant surroundings easily won people over.
Ning Rongrong was completely captivated by the atmosphere, stars filling her eyes as she exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, Jun Yi, this place is nice! If they have rooms, let's stay here."
Zhu Zhuqing noticed something different and said quietly, "This seems to be a couples' hotel. Wouldn't it be inappropriate for us to stay together...?"
"We can just get one room each," Ning Rongrong replied.
Jun Yi stepped forward. "Three rooms, please."
The attendant looked at Jun Yi and the two beautiful young women beside him, whose appearances were lovely but whose demeanors were entirely different. "Are you sure you want three rooms?"
Jun Yi nodded. "Yes."
A suggestive look entered the attendant's eyes. "Sorry, we only have one room left."
After saying that, he winked at Jun Yi, giving him a look any man would understand.
"Well, I can pay extra for the rooms and leave a tip. Give me three rooms."
With that, Jun Yi took out several Gold Soul Coins and placed them before the attendant.
Seeing such a generous young man, the attendant realized this must be another family's young master out gaining experience, just like Dai Mubai. He simply hadn't expected this young master to want three rooms.
The attendant very much wanted those tips, but the hotel really had no spare rooms this time. He sighed and replied, "Sorry, sir, our hotel really only has one room left. It's mainly because of the recent admissions; all the rooms have been booked. But don't worry, our rooms are very spacious and fully equipped. There's more than enough space for three people."
"We'll take that room." Ning Rongrong stepped forward
and slapped several Gold Soul Coins onto the counter. She simply loved the hotel's decor and atmosphere too much, so she decided to stay.
The attendant's eyes lit up at the Gold Soul Coins the girl casually tossed out. He hurriedly handed Ning Rongrong the room key and said fawningly, "Certainly, miss. I'll get you checked in right away."
"Then you two stay here, and I'll go to the merchant association?"
Jun Yi didn't want to stay here. After all, it wouldn't look good if word got out. He was Jun Xiao Yi, pure as ice and unsullied as jade. He couldn't let Ning Rongrong ruin his good name.
Ning Rongrong pouted. "Come on, didn't you hear the attendant say the room is huge? Zhu Zhuqing and I can sleep in the bed, and you can sleep on the sofa. Wouldn't that work?"
"Th-that doesn't seem very appropriate..." Zhu Zhuqing was somewhat hesitant too.
"What's inappropriate about it? We're all still children. It's fine."
Ning Rongrong once again pulled the two of them toward the room.
The Rose Hotel's decor easily attracted female guests. Its simple, comfortable color scheme and the faint scent of roses inside soothed both body and mind. After all, what girl didn't like flowers?
The three of them made their way to the far end of the top floor, where Jun Yi found the classic of classics among rooms. The sign above it bore a classic name: Red Ocean.
The door's color matched the name on its plaque. The bright red door was decorated with beautiful dark red crystal roses, beside which ran a vertical line of small lettering: Red Ocean, an ocean of love.
Zhu Zhuqing hesitated again. "It really is a couples' hotel. I don't think this room is very suitable for us..."
Had Ning Rongrong not saved her life and helped treat her injuries, Zhu Zhuqing, with her cool, aloof disposition, would never have come to a place like this.
"What's the problem? With me here, Jun Yi won't try anything. Isn't that right, my little study attendant?"
"You're absolutely right, young miss. Here, let me open the door for you."
Jun Yi took the key from Ning Rongrong and opened the door. The room was enormous; the living room before them alone covered more than fifty square meters. All the furniture in the living room was silver, carved with exquisite patterns. Raised red rose patterns covered the bright red carpet, and in the center of the room, masses of roses had been piled into a huge red heart.
The entire heart covered nearly two square meters and must have taken at least a thousand roses to create. A slender silk ribbon hung over it, bearing a line of words: One thousand and one, you are my only one.
"Ugh, what a cheesy pickup line. Corny and greasy. So disgusting."
Ning Rongrong, however, seemed to like it very much,
and simply plucked a rose from the coffee table, sat down on the sofa with a grin, and held it in her hand. "It smells so good. So fragrant."
"Perfect. I'll sleep in the living room, and you two can sleep in the bedroom. That works out just right."
Jun Yi hadn't expected the room to be so luxurious either. It was far larger than he'd originally imagined and even had two separate rooms, so staying here wouldn't be awkward.
"Mm-hmm, then we're going to the bedroom. You're not allowed in, understand?"
After speaking to Jun Yi, Ning Rongrong turned to Zhu Zhuqing. "Zhu Zhuqing, have a nice bath and change your clothes. Wait for me. We'll sleep together tonight."
"Huh?" Zhu Zhuqing looked a little adorably dazed, and her face flushed faintly.
"Hehe, Zhu Zhuqing's shy! Then I'll go into the room first." With that, Ning Rongrong skipped into the bedroom ahead of them.
"You two carry on. I'll sort out dinner."
With that, Jun Yi went downstairs to ask at the front desk whether the hotel served meals.
The front desk said they would deliver the food to the room, so Jun Yi returned upstairs to wait for Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing to finish bathing before eating.
Jun Yi lay on the red sofa, closed his eyes, and quietly thought about the future. As the plot progressed, he would soon meet Tang San, the son of destiny. He wondered what Tang San actually looked like, what his character was truly like, and whether he really was as the rumors described, someone called "Buddha."
However, Jun Yi had no particular fondness for him. After all, he had read the first three Douluo installments and knew that Tang San had done a series of utterly outrageous, brainless things, such as putting a chastity lock on his own daughter, forcibly merging Wang Qiu'er with his daughter, and carrying out that grand plan, supposedly "ten thousand years in the making," that had sacrificed countless lives on the Douluo Continent.
The things Tang San had done truly made it impossible for Jun Yi to feel any fondness for him.
As for joining Spirit Hall, that wasn't very likely either. Although Qian Renxue had saved him as a child and raised him, Jun Yi had also lived in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect for six years. During those six years, he had indeed come to regard the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as his home.
And Spirit Hall and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect probably wouldn't have any common interests, would they?
Shaking his head, Jun Yi cast those distracting thoughts to the back of his mind. It was still far too early to think about such things.
"I'd better stop thinking so much, focus on cultivating, and strive to return to Blue Star as soon as possible."
