Pope and Rakshasa Inheritor

Bibi Dong leads Spirit Hall from the Pope’s Palace, but her authority does not extend freely over all its senior experts. The Elders’ Hall falls under Qian Daoliu’s jurisdiction, and she initially has few Titled Douluo available to command. This makes Yue Guan and Gui Mei particularly important to her operations 16 28.

Her relationship with the Worship Hall is shaped by painful grievances involving the Qian family. The account connects Qian Daoliu’s guilt toward her to Qian Xunji’s actions, without detailing those actions. Bibi Dong herself considers the associated memories impossible to discuss with Gui Yuan and would prefer never to enter the Worship Hall again 16 40 41.

She also possesses the Rakshasa God’s inheritance. Its trials suppress her effective strength from Level 99 to Level 98, and her completed trials have granted increased Rakshasa Affinity rather than the artifacts, Soul Rings, or Soul Ring age increases she learns other inheritors can receive 40 50.

Taking Gui Yuan as a Disciple

Bibi Dong witnesses six-year-old Gui Yuan awaken the Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum and Ghost Martial Soul. She subsequently accepts his decision to develop the chrysanthemum through the Food System first and postpone adding Soul Rings to his second Martial Soul 1 3.

She organizes his education and Soul Beast selection rather than accompanying every early hunt. Working with Yue Guan, she prepares thirty ranked candidates for his first Soul Ring, including their habits and possible Soul Skills. She also assigns Wang Mozhu, Spirit Hall’s leading theoretical grandmaster, to teach him 6 44.

When Gui Yuan returns with a thousand-year first Soul Ring and the Darkin Bow, Bibi Dong attempts to examine the artifact directly. Its power invades her sea of consciousness and forces her to retreat. She then warns him that revealing a divine artifact could provoke assassination attempts even under her protection 8 9.

She refuses Qian Daoliu’s offer to take Gui Yuan as his disciple, though she allows Gui Yuan to retain his Worship Hall access token. She also encourages Gui Yuan’s first self-Martial Soul Fusion attempt and gives him a notebook containing her insights into cultivating Twin Martial Souls 9 10.

Developing Spirit Hall’s Disciples

Gui Yuan’s discovery that whale rubber strengthens the physique leads Spirit Hall to dispatch Soul Saints and Soul Douluos to hunt whale-type Soul Beasts. Bibi Dong uses the discovery to improve the prospects of core disciples absorbing older Soul Rings 19.

She rewards Gui Yuan with a seventy-thousand-year Spirit Condensation Wisdom Skull, originally intended to help him absorb a ten-thousand-year fourth Soul Ring. Although impressed by his achievements, she reprimands him for taking the greater risk of absorbing a ten-thousand-year third ring 23.

Bibi Dong also approves Hu Liena’s move beyond a narrowly focused mental-control path. She gives her the sixty-thousand-year Spirit Condensing Charm Skull, supervises its absorption, and accompanies her and Xie Yue to Star Dou Great Forest. There, she captures a Soul Devouring Flame Fox and a Space Shattering Silver Fox for their fourth Soul Rings 12 30 32 33.

Defending Gui Yuan Against Yan

After Yan provokes Gui Yuan and loses their spar, Lie Yangtian demands an explanation for his disciple’s injuries. Bibi Dong instead rules that Yan was responsible for challenging a seven-year-old Food System Soul Master 28.

She cancels Yan’s whale rubber supplies and halves his cultivation resources for two years. When Lie Yangtian objects, she drives him from the Pope’s Palace with Soul Power pressure and tells him to appeal to Qian Daoliu. Qian Daoliu subsequently declines to intervene 28 29.

Fourth Soul Ring Hunt

Bibi Dong personally accompanies Gui Yuan to obtain his fourth Soul Ring. She subdues a thirty-thousand-year Six-Winged Golden Cicada by restricting its spatial movement with Death Domain and piercing its Golden Body protection with Eternal Wound. Gui Yuan delivers the final blow 35 36.

During the return journey, she answers his questions about Twin Martial Souls and future Soul Rings. His persistent chatter draws laughter from her—something she reflects has been rare since her confinement in a secret chamber 37.

Back in Spirit Hall, she awards him the Purple Record Medal. Recognizing the value of his Soul Core Theory, she also offers to fulfill one request within her power and promises to help him hunt a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring once he can withstand it 38.

Soul Core Research and the Worship Hall

Bibi Dong becomes an early successful practitioner of Gui Yuan’s Soul Core Theory. Her Immortal Body allows her to survive repeated failures until she condenses a poison-attributed core. She then offers to compile her experience so Yue Guan and Gui Mei can avoid the same risks 34 40.

Gui Yuan uses her promised reward to ask that she share the method with the Worship Hall. Despite initially asking him to choose something else, she delivers the instructions personally. Qian Daoliu successfully condenses his own Soul Core after studying them 40 41.

Her treatment of Yue Guan and Gui Mei also becomes more considerate. She rewards Gui Mei’s advancement with a Soul Bone and grants both elders leave to accompany Gui Yuan to the memorial for Yue Guan’s older sister 44 45.

Later, Qian Daoliu transfers Ghost Leopard Douluo and Ling Yuan Douluo to her command at Gui Yuan’s request. With additional elders available, Bibi Dong tells Yue Guan and Gui Mei that they can rest more and spend time with their son 49.

Questioning the Rakshasa Trials

After learning that Gui Yuan’s Soul Rings increase in age annually, Bibi Dong revises his future hunting strategy and orders him to keep the ability secret—even from Hu Liena. She intends to teach him to use Soul Skills without displaying his rings 50.

The contrast with Gui Yuan’s apparent divine rewards drives her to enter the Rakshasa Secret Realm and demand an explanation for her own unrewarded trials. She receives no answer. Unknown to her, the Rakshasa God had already fallen and passed on the inheritance through a remnant soul with no spare divine power to grant additional rewards 50.

Personality

Bibi Dong is usually composed, distant, and authoritative. She responds sharply to challenges to her position, but her protectiveness toward Gui Yuan is personal as well as political: she refuses to let an elder’s disciple intimidate her own and accepts responsibility for resolving the resulting dispute 9 28 29.

As a teacher, she favors careful preparation and steady advancement. She repeatedly prioritizes Soul Beast compatibility over speed, condemns unnecessary risks, and initially rejects the idea of Gui Yuan fighting bare-handed as a Food System Soul Master. Later, after seeing his abilities develop, she supports ordinary sparring as useful combat experience 6 10 23 32 38.

Her cultivation shows extreme persistence. She endures dozens of painful Soul Core failures and resumes compression after each backlash, unsettling even Yue Guan and Gui Mei 40.

Gui Yuan gradually draws out a gentler side of her. She laughs at his chatter, feels indebted to his discoveries, and becomes more attentive to his adoptive fathers. Nevertheless, this warmth does not erase her hostility toward the Worship Hall or the memories associated with it 37 40 41 44.
