Death and Rebirth

Bibi Dong remembers dying as the Rakshasa God in the Battle of the Two Gods. Upon awakening in Lin Feng’s hand, she learns that she has returned roughly twenty years into the past, before Tang San’s ascension and Spirit Hall’s destruction. She initially demands complete obedience and eventual revenge in exchange for cultivation guidance; Lin Feng refuses and demonstrates his control by recalling her into his body 1.

Her reunion with Qian Renxue reveals that her daughter also died after the original battle, following the destruction of her divine position and a prolonged decline in health. Bibi Dong promises not to leave her alone again. Both must nevertheless postpone their plans because Lin Feng is only rank ten and has no Soul Rings 2.

Two Incarnations in Spirit City

The reborn Bibi Dong warns Lin Feng not to reveal her identity to the present-era Pope, anticipating suspicion and interrogation. When the Pope offers to accept him as a disciple, she urges him to agree: her knowledge alone cannot supply the Soul Rings, Soul Bones, and medicinal resources he needs 3.

The two incarnations subsequently teach him in parallel. During the journey, Martial Soul Bibi Dong presses for action to prevent Spirit Hall’s destruction and Qian Renxue’s second downfall. She suspects that the Asura God had arranged support for Tang San before his ascension. Lin Feng agrees to change the future on his own terms, beginning with taking opportunities that would otherwise strengthen Tang San and his allies 11.

Bibi Dong helps him penetrate the poison surrounding the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and prepare medicinal solutions for Dugu Bo. She later guides his absorption of the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone. His precise knowledge of these hidden resources makes her question whether he has also been reborn, but he refuses to explain 11 12 15 17.

Shrek Academy and the Soul Beast Plan

Bibi Dong’s wish to see Yu Xiaogang brings Lin Feng toward Shrek Academy. Before agreeing to take her, he confronts her with copied research records and challenges her defense of Yu Xiaogang’s conduct. She continues to insist that she only wants to see him once; Lin Feng makes concealing her identity a condition of the visit 19 20.

At Shrek, Martial Soul Bibi Dong recognizes Xiao Wu and supports reporting Lin Feng’s plan to the Pope before acting. Pope Bibi Dong approves postponing Xiao Wu’s capture while her connection to the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python is investigated. Her orders prioritize Lin Feng’s safety, require discreet surveillance, and authorize immediate capture if Xiao Wu prepares to flee 21 24.

Before the academy’s forest expedition, Martial Soul Bibi Dong also advises Lin Feng to intercept the Eight Spider Lances before Tang San fully fuses with them, warning that removing the External Soul Bone afterward would be much harder 25.

Pope Bibi Dong appears in luxurious robes, seated above the papal hall with a scepter beside her. Her reborn incarnation instead manifests as a small spider 1 3.
