Personality

Qian Renxue is initially sheltered, lonely, and intensely attached to her family. Despite repeatedly claiming that she will no longer acknowledge Bibi Dong, she desperately wants her mother’s affection. Her jealousy toward Luo Chen and Hu Liena stems largely from seeing them receive the tenderness denied to her 28 29 41.

Qian Daoliu raises her to value justice, kindness, honesty, and fearlessness. She struggles to lie convincingly, honors her promises, and explains her abilities openly during combat. Luo Chen admires these qualities but considers her rigid sense of fairness a potential liability against less honorable opponents 42 47.

Her pride is equally pronounced. She enjoys displaying her talent and initially regards Luo Chen’s other friends as subordinates rather than equals. With Luo Chen himself, however, competitiveness gives way to admiration and protectiveness: she celebrates his superior talent and worries more about his safety than winning their match 44 45 46.

The Tian Xue identity gives her room to behave more freely without feeling that every action reflects on the Angel Clan. As Tian Xue, she adopts an elegant, easygoing older-brother manner; in private, she remains affectionate, stubborn about being the elder sibling, and easily reassured by Luo Chen 42 44 49.

History

Hidden Heir of Spirit Hall

Qian Renxue is the daughter of Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong and the sole descendant of the Qian Family’s main line in her generation. Her Six-Winged Angel and level-20 innate Soul Power make her a prospective inheritor of the Angel God’s legacy 3 30.

To protect her from hostile factions, Qian Daoliu and Qian Xunji publicly claim that the previous Supreme Pontiff’s daughter died young. Only Spirit Hall’s highest ranks know the truth. This secrecy leaves her without peers: her daily companions are principally her grandfather and the six other enshrined elders 5 29.

Bibi Dong’s rejection is rooted in Qian Xunji’s coercion and imprisonment of her to force Qian Renxue’s birth. Although the narration establishes that Bibi Dong retains love for her daughter, seeing Qian Renxue brings back those memories. Qian Renxue herself does not understand the reason for her mother’s hostility 29 30.

Confrontation over Luo Chen

After learning that Bibi Dong fiercely protects Luo Chen, Qian Renxue initially welcomes the possibility that he is her younger brother. Her curiosity becomes jealousy when she learns how warmly her mother treats him 28.

She confronts Bibi Dong, asking why her mother can love Luo Chen but not her. Luo Chen explains that he is a disciple rather than Bibi Dong’s biological son. The confrontation ends with Bibi Dong throwing Qian Renxue away with Soul Power; she cuts her hand on rubble and flees in tears 29.

Qian Daoliu then proposes that she grow close to Luo Chen as a way to repair the mother-daughter relationship. He privately favors an eventual marriage, while Qian Renxue agrees to cultivate Luo Chen’s affection without immediately committing to that future 30.

Becoming Tian Xue

Qian Renxue approaches Luo Chen in Spirit Hall’s library and offers to ask Qian Daoliu about the Silver Dragon he is researching. Their conversation becomes friendly enough that Luo Chen invites her to meet his companions 40 41.

With Qian Daoliu’s encouragement, she disguises herself as Tian Xue and joins Hu Liena, Wang Sheng, Xie Yue, and Yan. She persuades Luo Chen to call her “Brother Xue” and delights in the group’s admiration of her apparent level-24 cultivation 42.

After seven days, Qian Daoliu permits her to enroll in Spirit Hall Academy. Her cover is a disciple of an enshrined elder. Because of her age and cultivation, she skips theory classes and registers for the junior academy’s year-end assessment 43.

Sparring and Moving Next Door

Qian Renxue agrees to spar with Luo Chen to test his recovering body and Soul Skills. Their personal wager concerns how they address one another, while Bibi Dong and Qian Daoliu make a separate wager over the outcome 44.

During the match, Luo Chen repeatedly evades, controls, and copies her attacks. She acknowledges his ability to defeat her but continues insisting on her older-sister status. When he develops a new Angel Assault variation for her, she embraces and kisses him in excitement 46 47.

Afterward, Luo Chen persuades Bibi Dong to let Qian Renxue live next door so she can benefit from his cultivation-supporting Path of Starlight. Qian Renxue sees the move into the Papal Palace as progress toward reconciliation with her mother. She also resolves to support Luo Chen as a future Supreme Pontiff rather than compete for the position, aspiring to become his Adjudication Elder 48.
