Background / History

Departure from the Clear Sky Sect

Tang Yuehua lost her place in the Clear Sky Sect after Tang Hao’s conflict with Spirit Hall brought retaliation upon the sect and its affiliated clans. Unable to find Tang Hao, some clansmen directed their resentment toward her. Ostracized, she left her home for Heaven Dou City, where her early life was difficult and Tang Hao offered her no support 34.

She eventually became the respected mistress of Moonlight Pavilion. Among her pupils was Princess Xue Ke, whom she taught court etiquette 35 69.

Mission to Maple Forest Evening

Tang Hao planned to exploit Maple Forest Evening’s women-only admission policy by sending Yuehua inside to draw treasures for him. Tang San found and forwarded his unfinished letter, expecting his aunt to obtain pills and Soul Bones for their use 25 28.

Yuehua arrived with Tai Tan and concealed her identity, presenting herself as a traveler seeking accommodation. She rented a room for one month and spent one hundred thousand Gold Soul Coins on more than two hundred and seventy lottery draws. Although she received temporary combat-enhancement pills, she obtained neither the healing pills nor the Mystic Water Pills she wanted. She then joined Xiao Yexuan’s seven-day check-in event for its guaranteed Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone 29.

Rejection of Tang Hao

During the check-in excursion, Yuehua initially defended Tang Hao in her thoughts and regarded his relationship with Ah Yin as a tragic love story. Seeing Ah Yin’s confinement and hearing accusations against him shook her confidence, but she continued searching for explanations that would preserve her image of her brother 30 31 32.

In Holy Soul Village, she questioned nearly every household about Tang Hao’s treatment of Tang San. Their consistent accounts convinced her that her trust had been misplaced. She connected his behavior toward his wife and child with his abandonment of the Clear Sky Sect, her father’s death from anger, and the losses suffered by their relatives and affiliated clans 34.

Yuehua confessed her identity and original purpose to Xiao Yexuan, renounced Tang Hao as her brother, and received his assurance that she remained a welcome tenant. She then persuaded Tai Tan to place the Strength Clan’s survival above his personal loyalty to Tang Hao. Their plan was to feign continued assistance while gathering the other three clan patriarchs, then capture Tang Hao and return him to the Clear Sky Sect to confess 35.

Preparing the Four Clans

While Tai Tan secretly contacted the other clans, Yuehua continued receiving money from Tang Hao without delivering the treasures he expected. She used Maple Forest Evening’s resources to improve her own cultivation and strengthen her allies. Before launching the attack, she had helped Tai Tan become a Titled Douluo and equipped him with several Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones 36 45 55.

She also invited Bai Chenxiang to Maple Forest Evening and funded her stay with one million Gold Soul Coins. When Xiao Yexuan needed premises in Heaven Dou City, Yuehua gave him Moonlight Pavilion and supplied a letter authorizing its handover 45 46 48.

Capturing Tang Hao

Yuehua launched her attack at Shrek Academy only after confirming that her domain could oppose Tang Hao’s and that Tai Tan had reached Titled Douluo. She demanded that Tang Hao surrender and confess his responsibility for the sect’s suffering. When he resisted, her zither music and domain relieved the suppression imposed on the four patriarchs by Divine Slaughter’s Domain 55.

The confrontation exposed her to further threats: Tang Hao wanted her Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bones, Yu Xiaogang proposed draining her blood for residual Mystic Water Pill effects, and Tang San used poisoned clansmen as leverage to demand her capture. Xiao Yexuan ultimately intervened, and Tang Hao, Tang San, and their companions were captured 55 56 60 61 64.

Yuehua publicly announced Tang Hao’s crimes and joined the Four Single-Attribute Clans in escorting him back to the Clear Sky Sect. Qian Renxue ordered Spirit Hall’s Worship Hall to intercept the party, fearing that reconciliation would allow the sect to emerge from seclusion 69.

Challenge to Tang Xiao

The escort was intercepted, but the rescuer was Tang Xiao rather than Spirit Hall. Xiao Yexuan’s drone footage identified him as the person who had taken Tang Hao and Tang San away. Furious that her eldest brother had protected Tang Hao, Yuehua declared Tang Xiao unworthy of being sect master and continued toward the Clear Sky Sect to take control herself 87.

With Tang Xiao absent, she entered the sect and persuaded elders who already resented Tang Hao, dividing the Clear Sky Sect into two factions 89.

Personality

Yuehua’s early loyalty to Tang Hao makes her reluctant to accept accusations against him. She hides her identity around his enemies and repeatedly interprets troubling evidence in his favor. Her eventual rejection follows her own investigation in Holy Soul Village rather than an immediate acceptance of Xiao Yexuan’s claims 30 31 34.

Her strongest lasting attachment is to the Clear Sky Sect and the people harmed by its decline. She treats familial ties as insufficient grounds to excuse Tang Hao or Tang Xiao, and gathers the names of those lost by the Four Single-Attribute Clans to substantiate Tang Hao’s responsibility 35 55 87.

She is calculating as well as forceful. Rather than simply severing contact with Tang Hao, she redirects his money, wins over his most loyal follower, and waits until her allies have the strength to act. Her initial embarrassment about body tempering also gives way to determination once cultivation offers a means of restoring her home 35 36 45 51.
