I remember the simple task Mr. The Fool gave me was just to test two people who might join the party. The gist of it was to find the person in the portrait, and that person was definitely in Backlund... Alger Wilson tried hard to recall what happened at the last party, and he couldn't understand how it had anything to do with the breeding ground for the arrival of evil gods.

Isn't it just about finding someone?

And it's the kind that's not very dangerous...

Is there a deeper purpose hidden behind Mr. The Fool's simple task? Is this a silent battle between gods?

The " The Hanged Man " thought of many things in an instant, and almost blurted out the question of " Justice," trying to pay the price to understand the specific details of what happened.

But as a seasoned official Beyonder, a " Navigator " piloting an ancient ghost ship, he was experienced and extremely shrewd. He forcibly suppressed his impulse and decided to first inquire through the internal channels of the Church of Storms about what major events had recently occurred in Backlund.

Audrey " Justice," immediately understood Mr. " The Fool's " lament and instantly grasped the meaning of Lanarvus's situation.

It turns out that the divinity possessed by Lanarvus was the initial means by which the " True Creator " descended into the real world... and the dire situation in the East Borough, the Dock Borough, and the Factory Borough was the breeding ground for the rapid growth and expansion of this means... Mr. The Fool thwarted the " True Creator's" grand conspiracy with a simple task, saving the entire Backlund! Audrey's eyes sparkled as she looked at the head of the bronze table, unconsciously filled with admiration.

At this moment, the somber and reserved "world" chuckled softly:

"Yes, whenever I see or hear about the large number of child laborers who die in their teens, the majority of workers who rarely live past thirty due to extreme exhaustion and harsh conditions, and the Aging who barely survive the earlier trials but are forced to wander the streets in hunger and cold because of old age, unemployment, and lack of security, I have no doubt about the existence of evil gods. They are on earth, in the East Borough, the Dock Borough, and the Factory Borough."

"Ha, there are even survey reports that say some factory workers don't survive more than five years."

"In the East Borough of Backlund, there's a saying: the grandparents' generation of the residents there were definitely outsiders, without exception."

The real meaning of that statement is that people there won't have a third generation, and they won't be able to have grandchildren.

"Poverty and hunger made their children very thin and weak, making it difficult for them to adapt to hard work. They would quickly wither away in Backlund, let alone marry and have children."

Audrey was deeply shocked and confused when she heard Mr. World speak so much for the first time.

How could I have no idea such a thing happened... The newspapers and magazines I read only mentioned that the residents of the East Borough were having a hard time... This is more than just hardship... For a moment, Audrey's eyes clearly lost focus, and she felt as if her understanding of the kingdom and the world had been completely overturned.

Suddenly, she understood why Mr. The Fool had uttered those words, why he had said that such an era, such Backlund, such the East Borough, the Dock Borough, and the Factory Borough, was a breeding ground for evil gods.

"This can't go on! Otherwise, Backlund will be destroyed one day!" Justice was Audrey overcome with a strong urge to go back and learn more, to remind her father, Earl Hall, and to use her abilities as an " Spectator " and a " Mind Reader " to secretly guide the implementation of laws and policies that could improve the living conditions of the poor people in the East Borough, the Dock Borough, and the Factory Borough.

At the head of the long bronze table, " The Fool " Klein quietly observed Miss " Justice's" reaction.

He had deliberately made that exclamation and then used the pseudonym "Mr. World" to explain in detail, so that Miss " Justice," who was a noblewoman but still retained a naive spirit, would realize the seriousness of the problem and, through her, indirectly promote change in the kingdom.

Before becoming the " Faceless," I must clearly remember that I cannot personally get involved in such matters... He silently set this boundary for himself.

"Thank you, Mr. ' The Fool,' thank you for saving Backlund. Your words have helped me understand the root of the problem. Thank you, Mr. 'World,' you have taught me many things I didn't know before." Audrey composed herself and sincerely thanked the two gentlemen seated at the top and bottom of the ancient long table.

"Did they save Backlund?" Alger the Hanged Man was no stranger to the situation in the East Borough, the Factory Borough, and the Dock Borough, but he was more surprised by the description given by Miss Justice.

Just how big of a mess has this gotten into? He frowned, utterly bewildered.

" The Sun " Derrick listened very attentively, even though he couldn't understand a word. He wanted to learn more about the area where " The Hanged Man," " Justice," and "The World" were located.

Klein simply smiled at Miss Justice's thanks without offering any further response, then turned his gaze to the Hanged Man.

Alger immediately understood his meaning and quickly materialized the last page of Roselle's Diary that he had promised.

Klein caught it out of thin air and glanced at it casually:

"On January 14th, I discovered a problem: unintentional High-Sequence items, if not sealed, will unconsciously attract Low-Sequence individuals along the same path to the vicinity, causing them to intersect. The higher the original Sequence, the more likely this will happen."

However, this situation doesn't seem to be constant; rather, it appears to be intermittent.

This diary entry immediately perked Klein up, as he had previously had similar speculations.

Upon arriving in Backlund, he found himself quickly entangled with the Secret Order and the Beyonder of the " Seer " pathway, thus falling into an extremely passive and dangerous situation, but also gaining the corresponding Sequence 7, Sequence 6, and Sequence 5 Potion recipes.

At the time, he guessed that his time travel hid a secret, giving him a certain ability to resurrect, and would intermittently attract people and things related to the " Seer " path, such as the Antigonus Family diaries, or members of the Secret Order.

Upon reading Emperor Roselle's diary entry, Klein suddenly had a new idea.

He glanced at the thick gray fog and the illusory crimson stars below out of the corner of his eye, and muttered to himself:

"Could it be that what creates that attraction isn't me, but this Gray Fog, or the mysterious space above the Gray Fog?"

"This is also a hidden secret in my time-travel story..."

Lacking further clues and information, Klein quickly gathered his thoughts and began reading the second entry in his diary:

"January 16th, the Witch's taste is really quite good."

Klein's lips twitched slightly; he simply didn't know what expression to use to face him.

Your Majesty, I underestimated you... You truly possess abilities that others cannot... Don't you care about the other person's previous gender? Don't you care about her experiences during her " Pleasure " phase?

Suppressing the urge to exhale slowly, Klein looked at the last entry in the diary in his hand:

"On January 20th, I prepared the second Card of Blasphemy."

"Let me think, let me think, where should I hide it?"

"Hmm, I plan to disguise it as a bookmark and tuck it inside a very valuable book. Unless the recipient is exceptionally lucky, they'll hardly imagine that the most valuable item in such a valuable book is actually that unassuming bookmark!"

"Great idea!"

... Your Majesty, why didn't you explain more clearly? Which book exactly was that "bookmark" tucked in? Before I finished reading, I was overjoyed, thinking I could follow the clues and obtain a " Card of Blasphemy " containing divine secrets... Klein looked on with considerable disappointment at the end.

He hoped that the Emperor's later diaries would contain specific information... He comforted himself with this thought, leaned back slightly, and smiled gently:

You are free to communicate now.

At this moment, " The Sun " Derrick, imitating " Justice," raised his hand and said:

"Mr. 'World,' the extraordinary weapon you gave me is better than I expected. I've accumulated enough merit points to exchange for the materials and advance to Sequence 8. In the next couple of days, I'll use the remaining merit points to hire helpers to obtain the true roots and sap of the Mist Treant. I'll be able to complete the transaction soon."

He spoke in great detail, expressing his concern that his image of trustworthiness would be questioned and damaged.

Of course, he was telling the truth. Although the axe did not meet his expectations of an extraordinary weapon, its power shocked him.

That axe could create a highly lethal bolt of lightning with just two or three strikes. Combined with the temporary boost from the " Bard's " ability, I could easily contend with Sequence 7 level melee Monster. If I encountered one that feared lightning, I could even handle it with ease... I'm now a " Light Suppliant," possessing certain spells. My strength has fundamentally increased, allowing me to fight against a wider variety of more powerful Monster... Derrick Berg felt he had grown fond of that extraordinary weapon.

In City of Silver, strength is the only reason to love it! The dense darkness surrounding them and the Monster lurking in its depths have forced them to abide by this rule generation after generation.

"Okay." The gloomy "world" nodded slightly under Klein's Manipulation.

He immediately looked around and asked again:

"Madam, sir, do you have any clues about the spinal fluid of the Evil-patterned Black Panther or the medullary crystals of the Elven Spring?"

" Justice," Audrey shook her head without hesitation, but " The Hanged Man," Alger, after a few seconds of contemplation, suddenly said:

"A grand gathering of pirates is about to take place in the Sonia Sea. The fleets of four pirate kings and six pirate generals may participate. Ah, it should be seven pirate generals. Someone else has joined the ranks."

"At such a grand event, there will inevitably be transactions of extraordinary materials, and there is a high probability that the not-so-uncommon Evil-patterned Black Panther Spinal Fluid and the Elven Spring Medullary Crystal will appear."

"I have the opportunity to participate in this grand event, but what can you offer in exchange?"

"I'm sure you don't have the ' Wind-blessed ' Potion recipe right now, and it'll be very difficult to obtain it later."
