Klein tracked the Antigonus Family Notebook’s clues, established contact with the Psychology Alchemists, and joined a Nighthawk investigation into a wave of deaths. The team disrupted a curse ritual, but Trissy escaped, leaving Klein to pursue her identity and whereabouts.

• Klein traced Sirius Arapis through Deville Library, killed him after he transformed, and recovered a letter linking the Antigonus Family Notebook to Hornacis and the Seer Pathway.
• Klein learned the Clown potion formula from Sirius’s writing, while a pendant tied to the Aurora Order disrupted his spirit channeling and Dunn warned him to wait before pursuing the potion.
• During Chanis Gate duty, Klein saw the Misfortune Cloth Doll reveal a paper of secret symbols, then used the gray fog to identify its pattern as a key to treasure connected to Hornacis and the Nation of Evernight.
• Audrey met Fors Wall and offered to help free her imprisoned companion, while Klein visited Azik and heard about his lost memories, strange abilities, and contradictory dreams.
• Klein learned that Duster Guderian was a Psychology Alchemist and arranged limited, covert cooperation with him.
• Klein, Leonard, and Frye investigated a string of deaths, and Klein’s divination led them to a ritual house in West Borough.
• Trissy attacked the Nighthawks at the house, disrupted their efforts, and escaped after carrying a bloodied flower to the Tussock River, while the team destroyed the altar.
• Klein recognized a woman in a restored mirror as someone he had seen near Daffodil Street, and he and the others suspected she was Tris transformed as Trissy before he returned home to pursue her location.

Klein completed his Seer advancement, encountered the City of Silver through the gray fog, and learned more about the Acting Method while investigating a wraith and Azik’s past. The arc ended with Azik recognizing his child’s remains and asking Klein to help find the missing skull before he left Tingen.

• Klein divined Trissy’s future departure from Tingen, but she escaped capture by leaving the train before it arrived.
• Klein finished digesting the Seer potion, helped Swain and Old Neil stop a longtime Nighthawk who had lost control, and investigated Admisol’s disturbing visions and Elizabeth’s wraith-haunted nightmares.
• Klein, Dunn, and Frye destroyed a wraith at the ruined castle near Ramde, then found a headless skeleton and a portrait of the first Baron Lamud that resembled Azik.
• Klein contacted Derrick above the gray fog, learned about the City of Silver and its people’s fate after death, and introduced him to Audrey and Alger as The Sun at the Tarot Club.
• Klein’s divination of the Mutated Holy Emblem of the Sun’s divine blood showed him a blazing sun that damaged the palace above the gray fog, and he resolved not to divine matters involving higher beings again.
• Madam Daly confirmed that Klein had discovered the Acting Method, taught him a ritual for summoning her messenger, and left for Backlund after reaching Sequence 6.
• Klein told Azik about the portrait resembling him, and Azik accompanied him to the castle, where he recognized the headless skeleton as his child and asked Klein to help search for the missing skull.
• Azik told Klein he planned to resign and leave Tingen to seek his lost past once the investigation was resolved.

Klein investigated strange hauntings, witnessed Old Neil’s fall into madness, and passed the Holy Cathedral’s examination to become a Sequence 8 Clown. The arc left him using his new abilities in police work while investigating Lanarvus’s connection to the mad Hood Eugen and attempting to summon a messenger.

• Klein arranged for Azik to create harmless supernatural incidents near Tingen, then tried a modified summoning ritual but lacked the spirituality to open its incomplete Door of Summoning.
• Klein submitted his special application to advance, investigated the Morse Town hauntings, and created two Solar Flare Charms with Sealed Artifact 3-0782.
• Klein and Dunn discovered that Old Neil was trying to resurrect Céleste through forbidden rituals, and they killed him after he attacked them.
• Klein passed Crestet Cesimir’s examination, received the Clown formula and ingredients, and advanced to Sequence 8.
• Klein tested his new Clown abilities, learned tracking and surveillance from Dunn, and received a copper whistle from Azik before Azik left for Backlund.
• Klein used Spirit Channeling to investigate councilor Maynard’s death, where the copper whistle caused the corpse to rise as a Living Corpse before Klein purified it.
• Klein learned from Duster that El’s real name was Lanarvus and that he had visited Hood Eugen, then asked Duster to monitor Eugen and press the Psychology Alchemists for help.

Klein and the Tarot Club helped bring Qilangos’s assassination plot in Backlund to an end, while Klein investigated Lanarvus and uncovered the Demoness Sect’s presence in Tingen. The fight with Madam Shermane killed Kenley, and Klein’s final discovery left Dunn beside Kenley’s bloodied corpse.

• Audrey, Xio, and Fors tracked missing vagrants to Qilangos, while Klein experimented with his spirit form and sought Azik’s advice on sacrificial rituals.
• Klein and Dunn used Spirit Channeling on Hood Eugen, learned that Lanarvus had offered him help and promised divinity, and linked the scheme to the Aurora Order.
• Qilangos disguised himself as Baron Gramir and attacked Duke Negan’s ball, but an unknown high-Sequence Death pathway powerhouse killed him before he could escape.
• Klein investigated Madam Shermane for Mrs. Maynard and discovered that she was a Beyonder with a Primordial Demoness statue and ritual supplies hidden in her safe.
• Dunn, Klein, and Kenley confronted Madam Shermane, who trapped Kenley in a mirror and killed him before Klein shot her with silver Demon Hunting Bullets.
• Klein read Madam Shermane’s memories and learned about the Demoness Sect, the Witch pathway, and its search for salvation, then found Dunn beside Kenley’s corpse with dark red blood around his mouth.
