• Klein and Alger fought their way through the island’s dangers and explored an ancient church, where they found a Card of Blasphemy depicting Emperor Roselle and the Tyrant pathway’s Sequence 0.
• Klein and Alger escaped the island with the card and several Beyonder spoils, then divided their finds before Klein returned to Bayam.

At the Tarot Club, Audrey learned that Dawn was an identity shared by Klein and his companions, while Klein discovered a Marauder demigod had infiltrated Hibbert’s household and decided against traveling to West Balam without Azik.

• Leonard linked Sherlock Moriarty, Gehrman Sparrow, and Dawn Dantès to The Fool’s organization, then questioned Klein in Dawn’s dream and learned Klein had returned from the dead to seek revenge on Lanarvus and Ince Zangwill.
• Klein agreed to explore an arms deal with the East Balam Veteran Officers Club, but after Caron died amid a share-sale conspiracy, he donated his Coim Company shares to a Church education fund instead.
• Xio and Fors secretly guarded Klein as he met Macht, and Fors stopped a man from shooting Macht after the attacker blamed him for his family’s ruin.

• Klein investigated Caron’s death with Leonard and learned from Arrodes that Herabergen Rambis had manipulated Caron’s suicide, while Amon’s avatar had arrived in Backlund.
