The golden sword light, like an inverted Milky Way, tore through the sky. Wherever the sword light reached, space collapsed into a pitch-black vortex, even the light was swallowed up.
The fleeing warriors of Myriad Races felt a chill on the back of their necks as an overwhelming pressure suddenly enveloped their bodies. The escape light beneath their feet seemed to be gripped by an invisible hand, abruptly halting them in mid-air.
They turned around in horror, only to see the golden sword light sweeping towards them with overwhelming force, the golden shimmer at the edge of the sword light making their faces appear deathly pale.
"No--!"
A piercing scream echoed through the sky, yet it couldn't even budge the sword light.
As the sword light flashed, the first few powerful Demon Race were instantly shredded into dust. Their souls didn't even have time to escape before they were Annihilation in the golden light.
Ye Changge stood with his hands behind his back, his clothes fluttering in the wind, his golden eyes indifferently sweeping over the chaos below.
He slightly raised his wrist, and the giant sword that pierced the heavens and earth transformed into a stream of light, returning to his palm. The sword trembled slightly, emitting a humming sound like Dragon's Roar, as if thirsting for more blood.
"I told you, running away is useless."
His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable authority, clearly reaching the ears of every survivor.
From the crowd, a Devil Race clad in black armor, his eyes bloodshot, pointed his demonic spear directly at Ye Changge and roared, " Ye Changge! Don't be so arrogant! My Devil Race army is already gathering. If you kill a powerful member of my Myriad Races today, you will surely bring about your own annihilation one day!"
"A catastrophe?" Upon hearing Ye Changge's lips curled into a mocking smile. "With your bunch of chickens and dogs?"
Before he finished speaking, he flashed and appeared in front of the Devil Race general.
The latter's pupils contracted sharply, and he instinctively thrust out his spear. Demonic energy surged on the spear, condensing into ferocious demonic flame fangs.
Ye Changge didn't even glance at the demonic spear; instead, he raised his hand and struck with a palm.
"Bang!"
With a dull thud, the demonic spear shattered into pieces, and the Devil Race general's body flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing through several spatial barriers along the way before finally slamming heavily to the ground, spitting out blood and instantly weakening.
Ye Changge stepped forward slowly, looking down at him, the golden light at his fingertips shimmering slightly. " The Devil Race army? Fine, saves me the trouble of searching for them one by one."
Golden light surged from his fingertips, and he was about to strike.
" Ye Changge! Wait!"
An aged voice suddenly rang out, and from behind the crowd, an old man with white hair and beard slowly walked out. He was dressed in a blue Daoist robe and held a whisk in his hand. Although his aura was strong, it carried an undisguised sense of apprehension.
"I am an elder of the Ten Thousand Races Alliance, and I wish to speak with you..."
"An elder of the alliance?" Ye Changge raised an eyebrow, his mockery deepening. "I have no interest in your alliance."
Before the words were even finished, the golden light had already fallen.
The old man's pupils shrank suddenly, and he hurriedly summoned his protective magic weapon, a blue tortoise shell shield, to block in front of him.
The shield was covered with intricate runes and shimmered with a faint blue light; it was a Dharma Artifact.
However, under Ye Changge's golden light, the tortoise-shell shield was as fragile as paper, and it shattered without even lasting a breath.
The golden light, undiminished in its force, plunged directly into the old man's body.
"Puff!"
The old man coughed up blood, his body went limp, and his eyes were filled with disbelief.
Ye Changge withdrew his finger and his gaze swept across the entire room once more.
At this moment, the powerful figures of Myriad Races were so terrified that they collapsed to the ground, not daring to utter a word, and not even having the thought of escaping.
Ye Changge stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the sky filled with severed limbs and blood mist, his golden eyes remaining completely calm.
" The Myriad Races surrounded the Hunter Human Race, slaughtering hundreds of millions of my people. This debt is only just beginning to be settled today."
His voice was icy and chilling, echoing through every corner of the land and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of every survivor, becoming an unforgettable nightmare for them.
In the distance, more sounds of air being torn apart could be faintly heard, as if more powerful beings from Myriad Races were rushing to the scene.
Ye Changge's smile grew even more stern. He slowly raised his head, gazing at the distant horizon, and the greatsword in his hand once again emitted a yearning hum.
"You've come at the perfect time."
