Star Luo Family and Arranged Engagement

Zhu Zhuqing was the second young lady of the Star Luo Empire’s Zhu Family. Daughters of its main line who awakened the Nether Civet Martial Soul were assigned marriages into the imperial Dai Family because of the Hell White Tiger Martial Soul Fusion Skill. The arrangement also bound them to the imperial succession struggle: defeated princes could be crippled or killed, and their partners were purged alongside them 53.

Her fiancé, Dai Mubai, fled to Shrek Academy three years before she explained these circumstances to her friends. Left in Star Luo City, she endured attacks from her eldest sister and the eldest prince until she could no longer hold out and went looking for him 53.

Rescue and Shrek Academy

Tang Feng first encountered Zhu Zhuqing while she was being pursued by three clan soldiers bearing the Zhu surname. He rescued her and sheltered her in a cave behind a waterfall in the Star Dou Great Forest. Her injuries healed during the following half month, after which they traveled together to Suotuo City 40 41.

Tang Feng escorted her to Shrek’s entrance examinations and treated her after Zhao Wuji injured her during the combat test. She passed, but her reunion with Dai Mubai exposed his womanizing and possessiveness rather than providing the support she had sought 44 45 47.

Determined to control her own future, she trained with Ning Rongrong and Oscar under Zhao Wuji’s gravity control. She supplemented this with repeated climbs up a nearly vertical cliff while wearing twenty kilograms of leg weights 54.

Tournament and Departure

Zhu Zhuqing and Oscar became standout competitors during the advancement tournament. Her speed and defense-breaking claws allowed her to threaten defensive Martial Souls that agility specialists normally avoided 136.

Against Star Luo Royal Academy, she faced her elder sister, Zhu Zhuyun, while rejecting the idea that Dai Mubai’s defeat determined her own fate. She watched the entire battlefield and concentrated Nether Dreadclaw into a precision strike when Zhu Zhuyun and Dai Weisi began preparing Hell White Tiger, without manifesting her External Soul Bone 145 146.

After the tournament, she left Shrek and announced her intention to end the engagement and settle matters with her family. Although Tang Feng offered the Clear Sky Sect’s protection, she initially wanted to resolve those obligations through her own strength 119 159 160.

Expulsion and a New Home

After returning to Star Luo, Zhu Zhuqing’s rapid growth drew hostility from the imperial family. The Dai Family labeled her supposed Martial Soul mutation suspicious, suggested she might be an Evil Soul Master, dissolved her engagement, and demanded that she cripple her Martial Soul or submit to imperial confinement 180 181.

The Zhu elders chose not to protect her. They expelled her, struck her name from the genealogy, and stood aside as at least three hundred imperial Soul Masters surrounded the ancestral hall. At Rank 59, she resisted multiple Soul Saints before facing a Soul Douluo general with her Soul Power exhausted and her body severely injured 181 182.

Tang Feng rescued her, and they escaped beyond Star Luo’s influence to their original waterfall cave. There, she acknowledged her love for him and successfully claimed the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, which she had previously declined to test. On their return, Tang Lie explicitly welcomed her into the Clear Sky Sect as family 160 183 184 185.

Sea God Island and Motherhood

Zhu Zhuqing chose to accompany Tang Feng to Sea God Island despite the dangers posed by divine inheritances and the conflict with Spirit Hall. She received the Top-Tier Eight Trials at the Sea Horse Sacred Pillar 217 229.

For her Fifth Trial, she fought Sea Witch Douluo and Sea Star Douluo together. With Ning Rongrong’s enhancement, she endured their coordinated attacks for two hours and ultimately won with difficulty 261.

After her Ninth Soul Ring breakthrough, the God of Darkness offered her an inheritance opportunity. Entry to the Darkness Secret Realm remained conditional on finishing her Sea God assessments 273.

Her final Sea God Trial required her to assist Tang Feng with his own Eighth Trial: producing offspring within two years. She gave birth to boy-girl twins, named Tang Qing and Tang Yan by Tang Feng, completing the assessment. Her discipline exceeds what her Rank 7 innate aptitude alone would suggest. She persists through punishing gravity exercises, weighted cliff climbs, and dangerous Soul Ring absorptions. Ning Rongrong calls her the most hardworking Soul Master she has ever met 54 91 167.

She is warmer with people she trusts and easily embarrassed by romantic teasing. Her gratitude toward Tang Feng develops into openly acknowledged love, while her concern for him leads her to stop him from killing Dai Mubai and provoking unnecessary political trouble 47 119 137 183.
