In the video.
Focalors: "I'd still like to put the Heavenly Principles on trial. Egeria stole the power of the Primordial Sea. Didn't the Heavenly Principles steal your ancient dragon power, too?"
"I am the God of Justice. Returning what originally belonged to you-that's what justice is!"
After Focalors finished speaking, she turned and walked forward. "But to me, justice is the pursuit of humanity itself."
"..."
"In other words, existence was Egeria's justice, while my justice is [survival]."
"Breaking the prophecy and letting everyone in Fontaine live-that is justice."
"By now, both I and all the people of Fontaine have borne this [sin] for far, far too long..."
"Chief Justice, Neuvillette, once you've regained all of the elemental dragon's power, what verdict will you pass on us?"
Neuvillette seemed thoughtful. "Back then... someone invited me to Fontaine to serve as Chief Justice. It seems that was your doing, too."
"Only now do I understand the true meaning of this position."
"Originally, I had no interest in humanity's existence. But after living in Fontaine for five hundred years, I slowly began to understand this race, and began trying to think what they thought, and consider what they considered..."
"How cunning of you, Focalors."
"After all this... you knew I could no longer pass a guilty verdict, didn't you?"
"Oh my," Focalors didn't answer. She clasped her hands behind her back and quietly gazed at Neuvillette.
Then she looked at the sword above her head and spoke with a tone of release:
"It seems the time for my execution is almost here."
"I, this sinner..."
"Should prepare for my curtain call."
"Though I said before that I didn't care at all..."
"But now that I'm truly waiting for death..."
"I'm still a little afraid, after all."
"Perhaps..."
"This is one of the rare things gods and humans have in common."
Focalors took a few steps forward, gently tilted her head to the right, and smiled with narrowed eyes. Then she looked at Neuvillette and softly said goodbye:
"Farewell..."
"Neuvillette-"
"I hope you enjoyed the part that was yours to play over these five hundred years."
[Jean: ...I honestly don't know what to say...]
[Lisa: The older you get, the more easily you feel sentimental. I just can't stop crying!]
[Ningguang: She began plotting five hundred years ago and even invited Neuvillette here. Perhaps Fontaine, now without its god, will have to live under Neuvillette's protection from now on!]
[Arataki Itto: Damn it, damn it, why? Why don't I want Focalors to die!]
[Xiangling: I feel like I've cried so much that I've lost my sense of taste. How can something this delicious taste like nothing in my mouth?]
[Keqing: After watching this, I think my view of the gods has changed a little.]
[Barbara: How can a god like this be called a sinner? Sob... It feels like all the moisture in my body is going to dry up, but I just can't help it.]
[Lyney: Lady Focalors isn't a sinner, and Lady Furina isn't a sinner either. To us Fontainians, they-or rather, she-is the best god.]
[Navia: That's right. Meeting them was our good fortune as Fontainians.]
In the video.
A melodious tune began to play. Like a spotlight shining down onto a stage, it bathed Focalors in light and brought her whole being to life.
At that moment, everything around her seemed to become her backdrop. She had become the star of the stage.
Focalors was barefoot, dressed in a white gown. As she moved, the hem of her skirt unfurled like a lotus blossom, making her seem so pure and holy.
Her steps lightly tapped the ground, her arms extended, and her whole body shimmered.
Perhaps because death was drawing near, her eyes were filled with emotions others couldn't understand. It wasn't fear, but something more like acceptance-an emotion as vast as water, able to embrace all things.
Furina, in her inner world, began to dance as well. In the dark opera house, only the stage shone with light, and Furina danced the same steps as Focalors.
She spun gracefully beneath the spotlight, like a swan.
The sword of judgment above Focalors' head hung high, turning slowly as it followed her steps. Focalors closed her eyes, as if letting her heart take one last chance to truly feel this world.
Then she lowered her head slightly and gently lifted the hem of her dress, making a curtain-call gesture, as if saying goodbye to Neuvillette, to the people of Fontaine, and to this world...
The next moment.
The blue sword stopped spinning and fell like the blade of a guillotine.
Focalors' eyes remained closed. A single tear slowly slipped from the corner of her eye.
Neuvillette's face was filled with sorrow. He reached out, as if trying to grasp something...
The screen went black.
On the stage in Furina's inner world, there was no one. Only a hat rolled beneath the spotlight.
[Tartaglia: I can only say two words: Respect!!!]
[Nilou: That dance was captivating. A god's dance-I've never seen one before!]
[Barbara: Now I finally understand what the video's title, "The Guilty's Dance Spins," means!]
[Lisa: That final tear rolling from the corner of Focalors' eye was so searing. It feels as though my heart has been burned through.]
[Kamisato Ayaka: Dance can convey emotions. This dance was filled with reluctance. Focalors loved this world, loved everything in it, and did it all for the people of Fontaine. Even with a thousand regrets in her heart, she still chose this path.]
[Sigewinne: I've never seen Lord Neuvillette look so sorrowful before!]
[Wriothesley: Yeah. That must be the first time Lord Neuvillette has felt so helpless!]
[Dvalin: Barbatos, look at Focalors! Do something useful for once!]
[Pulcinella the Rooster: Everyone, let's set aside our differences here and mourn together for this beautiful and noble god!]
Neuvillette's outstretched hand fell limply to his side. His face still held that same sorrowful, helpless expression as he sighed.
Countless bubbles suddenly appeared and gathered around Neuvillette.
No matter what he did, Neuvillette couldn't touch them. Some of the bubbles entered that Neuvillette's body, returning the power that had been stolen from her.
The tears at the corners of Furina's eyes had not yet been wiped away. She still looked utterly despondent, but as the bubbles arrived...
A line of text appeared before her eyes.
"You've worked hard all this time."
"Furina."
"Please, just as I hoped..."
"Live happily..."
"As a human."
