Jiang Jie entered Skywall and found Thunderaan’s forces losing their war against Al'Akir, who was backed by fire elementals while other elemental factions were occupied elsewhere. Aishir asked Jiang Jie to defeat Asaad at the Vortex Pinnacle, and Jiang Jie set out to confront him and his lieutenants.

• Jiang Jie crossed Skywall and met Aishir, learning that Al'Akir’s forces were winning the air elementals’ civil war.
• Jiang Jie sensed Garr and Baron Geddon fighting alongside Al'Akir’s forces after Ragnaros sent them to Skywall.
• Aishir explained that Neptulon was tied down by the naga and Ozumat, while Therazane was fighting Deathwing’s forces in Deepholm.

As Garr and Baron Geddon led a vast assault on the Vortex Pinnacle, Jiang Jie confronted them with Anveena's help, trapping them inside walls of earth.

Shen-zin Su worried about leaving Azeroth and protecting the Pandaren who traveled with it, and Jiang Jie reassured it before they reached the mists of Pandaria.

• Jiang Jie arrived on Shen-zin Su with Fenna and their daughter, while Li Li took little Huangyi on an adventure and Old Chen chased after them.

Xiao Feng recognized Shaohao as a cultivator of the pure Divine Dao and suggested that he could help Jiang Jie cultivate his spirit and understand the Seven Treasures Realm.

Emperor Shaohao revealed that Li Li was the Pandaren foretold to bring disaster and a turning point to Pandaria, and Jiang Jie gave her the Pearl of Pandaria.

Jiang Jie received Niuzao the Black Ox’s blessing and used it to seek insight into the Black Ox Form, hoping to strengthen his vitality. After years of meditation, he opened his eyes, while Old Chen had already learned from Niuzao and traveled south to study with Chi-Ji.

• Jiang Jie recognized Niuzao the Black Ox as a Wild God with exceptional vitality and realized Niuzao could help strengthen his own weakest aspect.
• Niuzao gave Jiang Jie a blessing of vitality, soul, and mind, explaining that Cenarius, Tortolla, Ursol, Ursoc, and Shaohao all supported him.

• Ysera dissolved the Dragon's Call into natural energy and Emerald Dream authority, linking Jiang Jie to the Emerald Dream.

Uther left his duties in Lordaeron and traveled to Stormheim to undertake the trial at the Halls of Valor, hoping to enter the Demigod realm. Jotun met him at the gates and began the trial.

• After meeting Jiang Jie, Uther resigned as regent and left Lordaeron, keeping his roles as leader of the Order of the Silver Hand and archbishop.
• Uther spent a month traveling simply by boat, then reached Stormheim and climbed to the Halls of Valor.
• Uther arrived at the gates, where he recognized Jotun, Tyr's assistant and a lesser Titan keeper.
• Jotun told Uther to follow him and announced that his trial was beginning.

Jiang Jie reached Vashj'ir and found Duke Hydraxis's forces fighting Naga inside an ancient sea-snail demigod. He confronted Lady Naz'jar and demanded the fragment of the Staff of Origination she had obtained.

• Jiang Jie left Fenna and Little Huangyi in Pandaria before flying south toward Vashj'ir.
• Jiang Jie entered the sea and discovered that the Naga controlled most of Vashj'ir, where water elementals and Naga had fought for millennia.
• Jiang Jie found Duke Hydraxis and his Hydraxian Water Elementals battling Naga inside an enormous ancient sea-snail demigod.
• Jiang Jie approached Lady Naz'jar and asked her to hand over the fragment of the Staff of Origination.

Jiang Jie killed Lady Naz'jar and recovered the third fragment of the Staff of Origination, then entered the Water Elemental Plane to help the water elementals defend the Throne of the Tides. He headed toward the decisive battle, where Neptulon was pinned down by Ozumat.

• Lady Naz'jar offered Jiang Jie the Staff of Origination fragment in exchange for help attacking the Water Elemental Plane, but he killed her and the Naga around her instead.
• Jiang Jie took the third fragment of the Staff of Origination and learned from Duke Hydraxis that Ozumat was holding Neptulon at the Throne of the Tides.
• Duke Hydraxis led the Hydraxian Water Elementals toward the Throne of the Tides and asked Jiang Jie to rescue another conch demigod before joining them.

Jiang Jie rescued Duke Hydraxis from an ambush by Commander Ulthok and Mindbender Ghur'sha at the Throne of the Tides. After defeating both attackers, Jiang Jie and Hydraxis headed deeper into the halls to help Neptulon.

• Jiang Jie arrived at the Throne of the Tides and found Duke Hydraxis fighting Commander Ulthok and Mindbender Ghur'sha.
• Jiang Jie transformed into a divine dragon, drove Ulthok back, and tore Mindbender Ghur'sha apart despite its attempt to control his mind.

Jiang Jie watched Neptulon battle the empowered sea-monster patriarch Ozumat and realized that ordinary water control could not overcome the High-tier Demigod. He transformed into the Black Tortoise and moved to join Neptulon in the fight.

• Jiang Jie observed Neptulon’s battle with Ozumat and saw that the two High-tier Demigods were evenly matched.
• Jiang Jie judged Ozumat to be powerful in every respect and recognized that he could not defeat him through ordinary tactics.
• Jiang Jie decided he needed greater control over water to help Neptulon in the Water Elemental Plane.
• Jiang Jie combined his Tortoise Form and Divine Dragon Form to become the Black Tortoise, a water-aligned divine beast.

Jiang Jie transformed into the Black Tortoise and helped Neptulon overpower and bind Ozumat. Neptulon took the captive back to the elemental prison and promised Jiang Jie a reward and his friendship.

• Neptulon returned to the Water Elemental Plane after its defenders began restoring order and offered Jiang Jie a reward for saving him.
• Jiang Jie asked Neptulon to strengthen his Water Elemental avatar and Shui, and to form an Eternal Covenant with the Water Elementals.
• Neptulon rejected the Naga and Old Gods as sufficient reasons for an alliance, so Jiang Jie named the Burning Legion and Sargeras as the greater threat.

Jiang Jie perfected his six energies with Anveena’s help and left her to finish repairing the Titans Prison before they went to Ulduar. Meanwhile, Uther returned to the Halls of Valor to begin his final trial against Hymdall.

• Neptulon forged the Eternal Covenant with Jiang Jie and agreed to pacify the Water Elemental Plane before attacking Ragnaros’s domain.
• Jiang Jie’s elemental avatars and Shu reached ordinary demigod perfection, raising his strength enough to challenge high-tier demigods.
• At Ahn'Qiraj, Jiang Jie gave Anveena the final piece of the Staff of Origination, which she restored and used to strengthen herself.
• Anveena gathered arcane energy from the ley lines, helping Jiang Jie complete the six energies and empowering Lord Jaraxxus as well.

Uther defeated Hymdall after the Silver Hand Warhammer recognized his unwavering commitment to justice, then chose the trial of Hyrja. Outside, Jiang Jie predicted Uther could claim the Aegis of Aggramar and left, warning that he would reclaim it if Skovald took it.

• Uther found no opening against Hymdall and turned to the Silver Hand Warhammer, exposing his heart and gaining its greater recognition.
• Uther defeated Hymdall, who acknowledged that Uther had won and let him continue as Tyr's successor.
• Hymdall explained that the Aegis of Aggramar belonged to Tyr and that the trials were meant for Tyr's successor, then declared he would reclaim the Sword of the Valarjar.
