Jiang Jie fought C'Thun’s freed eye in the Titan prison, using his own powers and elemental allies to destroy it. C'Thun then revealed a miniature avatar of himself inside his body, beginning the battle’s second phase.

Jiang Jie’s soul grew to Demigod strength inside C’Thun’s mental world and returned to his body, but he remained trapped inside C’Thun. He reached Anveena outside the Titan prison, and she offered to punch a passage through C’Thun so he could escape.

• Jiang Jie endured a month of attacks from Aqir and Faceless Ones, learning spiritual combat and strengthening his soul until it reached the Demigod realm.

• Kazzak opened the Dark Portal and led his demons into Outland, planning to become its ruler and summon reinforcements.
• Kazzak realized the demons in Hellfire Peninsula were watching him rather than welcoming him, then saw Illidan waiting above the portal.

Jiang Jie identified Illidan as the likely caster and led the leaders to the portal to negotiate, where he asked Illidan what he wanted.

• Admiral Daelin demanded that Nicholas seize Altruis, but Jiang Jie accepted the Eye of Shadow and asked why Illidan had sent him.
• Altruis said Illidan had a secret plan to strike the Burning Legion and demanded that Azeroth’s leaders come to Outland without soldiers and pay a sufficient price for passage.
• Admiral Daelin refused to negotiate at the Dark Portal and demanded that Illidan come to Azeroth, while Altruis insisted Illidan held the initiative.

After Anveena obtained the scepter and restored the two staff fragments into one, Jiang Jie prepared to activate the three obelisks and continue their search for the Forge of Origination.

• Anveena awakened the Sun Giant Keeper and Moon Giant Keeper, but C'Thun's influence made them attack her and Jiang Jie.
• Anveena used her Titan Keeper power to shatter the two Keepers, and Jiang Jie and Anveena entered the temple.

Jiang Jie and Anveena entered the Halls of Origination and convinced its guardians to recognize Anveena as a Lesser Titan Keeper. Anhuur led them to the four Lesser Titan Keepers, who had been waiting for them.

• Anveena declared herself Ironaya's successor and demanded that the Tol'vir awaken the Keepers, but they refused to trust her.
• The Tol'vir leader warned that they had once defeated a powerful claimant and escorted Jiang Jie and Anveena to Lord Anhuur.
• Anhuur recognized Anveena from the Titan system's message and said her ascension had renewed the Keepers' waning power.

Jiang Jie and Anveena entered the innermost halls and met four powerful constructs who guarded the Halls of Origination. Ammunae said Freya in Ulduar could help Jiang Jie become a Demigod, and Anhuur began introducing Rajh, the strongest of the four.

• Anhuur introduced Isiset, the Construct of Magic, who welcomed Jiang Jie and Anveena as newly appointed Lesser Keepers.
• Anhuur introduced Ammunae, the Construct of Life, whose primordial life energy could create Wild Gods.
• Anveena asked Ammunae to give Jiang Jie primordial life energy, but Ammunae said Freya would help Jiang Jie achieve his transformation in Ulduar.

Jiang Jie and Anveena met Rajh, who verified Anveena’s appointment and explained the Forge of Origination’s power and limits. The chapter ended with Jiang Jie realizing that the Forge could destroy all life on Azeroth if corrupted, leaving every living being under threat.

• Rajh awoke and required Jiang Jie and Anveena to recount how Anveena gained her abilities and Archaedas’s recognition.
• The Halls of Origination showed Rajh a record of events in Uldaman, and he confirmed Anveena’s appointment while ordering her to repair every Titans Prison.

Rajh said the only way to secure it was to repair the Halls, a task that required Highkeeper Ra’s authorization, and revealed that Archaedas was willing to transfer his position and power to Anveena if she proved herself.

• Rajh considered activating the Forge early but recognized that cleansing Azeroth would sacrifice the World-Soul’s progress and remained a last resort.
