Power Progression
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rank 63 Power Attack System Soul Emperor | 169 | Introduces herself with the Silver Dragon Spear and six Soul Rings: yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black. Her stated age, rank, and ring configuration match Xuan Ming’s. |
| Soul Saint-level divided-soul body | 244 | Bo Saixi retrospectively identifies her strength upon first arriving at Sea God Island as Soul Saint level. The exact breakthrough is not shown. |
| Reunification with her original Silver Dragon King body | 244 | Returns after fusing with her original body and beginning a preliminary fusion with the Dragon God’s Heart. Gains access to power far beyond a Level 99 Peerless Douluo, but inherits her original body’s severe injuries. |
| Injured foundation stabilized | 247 | Absorbs Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s life origin. Her vitality and presence improve, though she remains far from fully recovered. |
| Stable god-level power | 256 | Delayed rewards for assisting with the first two Sea God trials each restore ten percent of her origin injuries. The combined twenty-percent restoration lets her sustain god-level power without relying on the Heart to force it. |
| Further origin recovery | 274 | Life-origin energy replenishes her after prolonged use of creation power, making her presence more harmonious and profound. No new rank is specified. |
| Origin mostly restored; ready for formal Creation Godhead fusion | 318 | Successive trial rewards repair most of the damage caused by the Dragon God’s splitting. She states that she can now begin formally merging with her innate, God King-level Creation Godhead. |
| Forced activation of the Dragon God’s Heart | 321 | Pours her Silver Dragon King origin into the Heart to suppress the Dragon Tomb’s hostile souls. Her incomplete Dragon God bloodline cannot control it, and its will begins consuming her divine soul. |
| Reconstructed Dragon God origin received | 328 | After years of waiting, Xuan Ming awakens and begins transferring the Dragon God’s Power, which his own Godhead has analyzed and reconstructed. |
| New Dragon God | 329 | Fully inherits the Dragon God’s Power with Xuan Ming’s help. Her pressure exceeds that of ordinary God Kings, although her newly acquired power is initially unstable. |
| Dragon God’s Power fully assimilated | 348 | Her complete assimilation is explicitly confirmed. |
Background
The Silver Dragon King originated from the division of the fallen Dragon God’s power, while the Golden Dragon King inherited its other principal half. Gu Yuena’s origin was damaged by that division, and her former strength was Half-Step God King level. Complete recovery would have allowed her to return directly to that level 244 256.
The Gu Yuena who initially accompanies Xuan Ming is a vessel created from a separated portion of the Silver Dragon King’s soul. This body does not inherit the original body’s injuries. The Silver Dragon King deliberately reduces that soul portion’s sense of responsibility and fills it more heavily with memories of Xuan Ming, giving her unusually simple goodwill toward him 175 236 247.
She is introduced to the others as having lost her memory. Xuan Ming immediately suspects her connection to the Silver Dragon King, particularly because her presented age, cultivation, and Soul Rings exactly mirror his own 169.
Appearance
Gu Yuena is described as exceptionally beautiful, with a cool, noble bearing. Her hair is variously described as silver or silver-purple, and her eyes as violet, amethyst, or silver-purple 169 221 229 327.
- Long hair: Falls to her waist while she waits in God’s Forbidden Land 327.
- Silver clothing: Wears a long silver gown after fully assimilating the Dragon God’s Power 348.
- Nine-colored light: Surrounds her after her Dragon God inheritance; the Dragon God’s Heart also manifests as a nine-colored mark at her brow during its dangerous fusion 321 329.
Personality
Initially, Gu Yuena is quiet to the point of seeming unresponsive. Her teammates struggle to converse with her, while she answers Xuan Ming and asks to remain beside him. This early attachment reflects the deliberately simplified emotions of her divided soul 171 175.
Her later confidence rests on trust rather than exclusivity. She believes Xuan Ming takes promises seriously and considers her own place in his heart irreplaceable. She openly rejects the idea of binding an unwilling partner to her side, calling such a relationship an empty shell 191 280.
Gu Yuena combines emotional insight with blunt judgment. She challenges Bo Saixi to distinguish the real Xuan Ming from an idealized powerful hero, and encourages Bibi Dong to confront her trauma rather than hide behind Rakshasa’s madness 261 282.
Her devotion can also become ruthless. When Xuan Ming’s trial threatens to fail, she orders four Ferocious Beasts to prepare for sacrifice and threatens to remove obstacles to resolving his conflict with Qian Renxue. Yet she refuses to use the Dragon Clan’s hopes as emotional leverage against him, even offering to risk her own life rather than force its responsibilities onto him 293 295 319 325.
Abilities & Skills
Silver Dragon Spear and Spearmanship
- Matches Xuan Ming’s spear techniques closely enough to anticipate his movements and begin suppressing him in a serious sparring match 171.
- Combines close combat with ranged elemental support, covering Xuan Ming’s blind spots while he concentrates on breaking enemy defenses 215.
- Remains formidable without Soul Skills when supported by Ning Rongrong’s enhancements 178.
- Early concealment limit: States that using Soul Skills would expose all six of her Soul Rings, preventing her from maintaining a Soul Ancestor-level disguise 178.
Elemental Control
- Produces ice spikes, fireballs, wind blades, rock spikes, light arrows, and dark corrosion through the Silver Dragon Spear 215.
- Alternates between wide-area bombardment and concentrated attacks with precise control 215.
- Combines ice and fire into a spiraling spear beam capable of forcing back Demon Charm during the tournament final 215.
Elemental Tide: Wall of Annihilation
- Gathers multiple elements into a seven-colored barrier whose internal collisions produce destructive annihilation 215.
- Activates all six Soul Rings, with the final black ring shining most intensely 215.
- Weakens Demon Charm’s Full Moon strike, helping create the opening for Xuan Ming’s decisive White Light Domain 215.
Mental and Spiritual Support
- Enters Xuan Ming’s nightmare under the Ice Dragon King’s guidance to reach his wounded consciousness 176.
- Calms his unsettled mind and helps him recover spiritual power 191.
- Guides and stabilizes his newborn primordial spirit after his Divine Origin Realm breakthrough, protecting his recovery during nearly a month of sleep 288.
- Limit: Her intervention cannot overcome the evil influence driving his nightmare rampage; she must withdraw and is injured when he attacks in reality 176.
Creation Power and Healing
- Works with Xuan Ming to reconstruct Bibi Dong’s body and balance her Rakshasa and Asura divine powers 273.
- Uses creation power and Dragon God origin to stabilize Xuan Ming’s injuries 292.
- Possesses an innate Creation Godhead inherited from the Dragon God, rather than a Godhead gradually formed through an acquired divine position 318.
Dragon God Authority
- Commands bloodline-based reverence from Soul Beasts, including the Far North’s rulers and tribal patriarchs 247.
- Uses the Dragon God’s Heart during the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ sacrifice to help transform Xuan Ming’s dragon bloodline and origin 265.
- Later applies her Dragon God’s Power to the creation of a new generation of dragons from the Dragon Tomb’s bones and souls 344.
Divine Knowledge
- Diagnoses the Blood Spear’s emerging divine-artifact transformation and warns that its chaotic will could turn against Xuan Ming 230.
- Explains why Tang Chen never obtained the Asura God’s final acknowledgment or the right to wield the Asura Demon Sword 271.
- Distinguishes Godhood, a position tied to the Divine Realm, from Godhead, a deity’s own condensation and mastery of laws 318.
Equipment & Artifacts
- Silver Dragon Spear — Her manifested Tool Martial Soul and principal combat weapon 169 215.
- Dragon God’s Heart — A nine-colored Super Divine Artifact containing the Dragon God’s fundamental essence and will. Retrieving it requires pure Dragon God bloodline and acknowledgment from the Dragon Tomb’s ancient souls 244.
- Stabilizes Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s soul origin during his tribulation and supports his subsequent sacrifice 247.
- Shields its protected area from divine observation, including a God King’s divine sense 273.
- Requires a complete Dragon God bloodline for full control; forced absorption with only the Silver Dragon King’s inheritance nearly destroys Gu Yuena’s divine soul 321 322.
Relationships
- Xuan Ming — Lover, partner, and the person to whom she entrusts the Dragon Clan’s future. Their bond develops through shared danger and reciprocal protection: she risks her soul to save him, and he reconstructs the Dragon God’s Power to save her and grant her its inheritance 191 244 282 321 328 329.
- Ice Dragon King — Guides her entry into Xuan Ming’s nightmare and helps arrange her early connection with him. Before dissipating, entrusts Xuan Ming to her care 175 176 321.
- Di Tian — Subordinate and a principal supporter of the Dragon Clan’s revival. Guards her dragon-creation work and later oversees the developing Dragon Domain 177 344 352.
- Bibi Dong — Romantic counterpart and collaborator. Gu Yuena helps her confront her past, reconstruct her body, and reconcile incompatible divine powers 261 273.
- Qian Renxue / Xue Qinghe — Challenges her possessiveness and insecurity concerning Xuan Ming. Their conflict becomes dangerous when Gu Yuena intervenes to prevent his fourth trial from collapsing 191 294 295.
- Bo Saixi — Encourages her to pursue Xuan Ming while insisting that she accept his actual personality rather than an idealized image 280 282 293.
- Goddess of Life — Restores her injured origin, identifies her as a suitable successor, and asks her to help keep Xuan Ming from taking an apocalyptic path. No completed inheritance of the Life godhood is documented 256 273 292 293.
- Snow Empress, Ice Empress, Bi Ji, and Zi Ji — Recognize her authority. She initially leaves their romantic choices to them, but later commands them to prepare for sacrifice if Xuan Ming’s trial cannot be saved 280 293.
- Three-Eyed Golden Lion — Plans to cleanse her bloodline and help her ascend, then explains her feelings and distress to Xuan Ming 352.
Story Role / Major Arcs

Sea God Island and the Divine Trials

Dragon Tomb Crisis and Dragon God Inheritance
- Brings Xuan Ming to the Dragon Tomb to help him comprehend laws and condense his own Godhead 318.
- Forces the Dragon God’s Heart into herself when the ancestral souls threaten to destroy him, suppressing them at the cost of her own divine soul 321.
- Is taken into God’s Forbidden Land, where obtaining the Golden Dragon King’s missing power offers a possible route to survival 322.
- Rejects the idea of making Xuan Ming bear the Dragon Clan’s responsibilities merely to save her. He nevertheless accepts the dangerous power rather than let her attempt a nearly fatal fusion 325.
- Waits for years while he reconstructs that power, then receives it from him and emerges as the new Dragon God 327 328 329.
Dragon Clan Revival and Later Life
- Returns to the Dragon Tomb with Di Tian and the Fire Dragon King to create new dragons from ancestral bones and souls 344.
- Establishes a Dragon Domain on Elf Star, where the new generation grows and Di Tian reaches God King level 352.
