Xuan Ming reached Sea God Island and mastered the Blood Spear through a deadly first trial. His next trial sent him seeking greater strength, and he secured Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s sacrifice before forcing the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King to agree to sacrifice himself.

• Xuan Ming transformed the Blood Spear with Slaughter City’s blood pool, gained Divine Slaughter’s Domain with Hu Liena, and learned that Qian Renxue had completed her Fifth Trial.
• Xuan Ming survived the Blood Spear’s backlash during a clash with the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, commandeered Zi Zhenzhu’s ship, and reached Sea God Island with his companions.

After Bibi Dong began the Asura trials, unrest within the Spirit Hall Empire grew, while anti-Spirit Hall forces gathered in Heaven Dou City.

• Xuan Ming returned to Sea God Island with the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King's Soul Ring and gained the Million-Year Abyss Dragon Emperor Torso Bone through the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King's sacrifice, then completed his second trial.
• Xuan Ming brought Gu Yuena to Spirit Hall and helped Bibi Dong confront the Rakshasa power consuming her, then trained with her until she developed a new domain.
• Xuan Ming secured God-Given Soul Rings and a Deep Sea Crystal from Poseidon, then defeated the Evil Orca King and gave its Soul Ring and Soul Bone to Bibi Dong.

• Poseidon assigned relationship trials to Xuan Ming and the women on Sea God Island, but Xuan Ming misunderstood their feelings and left to seek the Evil Emperor’s Soul Ring.
• Xuan Ming secured the Demon Empress’s submission, forced the Evil Emperor to sacrifice himself, and gained divine consciousness.
