In Country M, at an airport, a plane slowly landed. After coming to a stop, the cabin doors opened, and the passengers disembarked one after another.
After getting off the plane, Suisui and Lin Ting went straight to the manor, where someone was already waiting.
" Mr. Lin, young master, good day." A butler dressed in a black swallowtail coat, wearing white gloves, with his hair neatly combed back, a polite smile on his face, placed one hand on his chest and bowed slightly to them.
Lin Ting nodded casually. "Good day, has he arrived?"
Suisui clasped her hands together on her stomach and nodded, saying, "Good day, Butler West."
West put one hand behind his back and reached the other inside, bowing slightly. "Mr. Clo is already in the living room."
"Okay." Lin Ting nodded and walked past him quickly inside.
"Young Master, please come in," West said, maintaining his posture.
Suisui walked in without saying a word, glanced at the two people in the living room, and saw that Lin Ting had a furrowed brow and seemed very annoyed. She didn't go up to disturb them, but went straight upstairs.
Click, click--
Lin Ting took the cut cigar from Clo, picked up the lighter on the table, and pressed it a few times, but it wouldn't light.
After serving them tea, West, who was standing not far away, noticed the scene. He glanced at the atmosphere between them, then went up to light a cigar for Lin Ting before quietly retreating.
Lin Ting exhaled a smoke ring, leaned back, crossed his legs, and tilted his head slightly to look at Clo, who was sitting ramrod straight. He said disdainfully, "Speak, what is it that's worth you doing this?"
Clo smiled, instantly giving off a feeling of spring warmth and blooming flowers. He was very handsome; foreigners typically have well-defined features, deep-set eyes, and emerald green eyes that stared directly at the impatient Lin Ting, yet remained calm and undisturbed, a stark contrast to the smile on his face.
What an idiot.
Lin Ting snorted.
"Good day, Lin."
Lin Ting's expression twisted for a moment, and she gave him a disdainful look. "Let's get down to business."
"He's gone mad; in your country's terms, he's desperate," Clo said.
Lin Ting scoffed dismissively, "Him? What kind of class does he have? He dares to act crazy in front of me."
He holds 15 percent of the shares.
Lin Ting nodded. Of course he knew. That was why he came back. It was worth all the time he spent setting a trap for him, even though it was a little later than he expected.
"What about Ann? Are you taking him with you?" Clo smiled, changing the subject.
Lin Ting nodded. He would definitely take Suisui with him. He would teach by example, as Sui Sui would inherit the Jiang Family in the future, so he needed to be nurtured from a young age. What could be better than being influenced by what one sees and hears?
Clo smiled and said, "Ann is very smart."
Knock knock--
"Come in."
A maid wearing a long black and white maid dress walked in quietly, carrying a pot of tea.
"Good day, young master." He curtsied slightly to Suisui and placed the tea on the table with swift and decisive movements.
After pouring him a cup of tea, she held the tray to her chest, slightly bent her knees again, and withdrew.
The room fell silent for a moment, then the sound of a porcelain cup colliding with the table could be heard.
" Chaochao, come here quickly!" Gu Wancheng excitedly waved to Chaochao in the distance.
Chaochao's eyes lit up, and she casually threw the weeds in her hand on the ground and ran over.
"Dad, did you find it?!" He rushed up to him and asked impatiently.
Gu Wancheng curled the corners of her lips and proudly shook the small box in her hand.
Chaochao jumped up happily, looking at the box expectantly, "Open it quickly!"
Gu Wancheng sat down cross-legged, and Chaochao sat down beside him, supporting herself on his legs with her hands, watching his movements intently.
Gu Wancheng took a deep breath and carefully opened the box. The moment she opened it, she suddenly closed her eyes.
"What's inside, Chaochao?"
After a long silence, Gu Wancheng nervously wondered if things were really bad. He knew it; he was just unlucky.
"Dad, I don't know him." After a while, Chaochao's voice finally came out.
Gu Wancheng: "..."
He peeked out with one eye, and when he saw what was in the box, both eyes widened in surprise.
It turns out to be...
Okay, he doesn't know him either.
Inside was a photograph of a chubby little blue bird, with a gradient color.
What is this thing? Does anyone know?
It's a bird.
[I'm not blind, I recognize him.]
[I think it's called something like the Blue Robin, maybe?]
The two looked at each other, a silent atmosphere settling over them.
After a while, Gu Wancheng closed the box and put it in the basket to the side.
He frowned and said uncertainly, "This should get me a few points too, right?"
"It's okay, we'll take our time looking," Chaochao said, patting his leg.
"You're even trying to comfort me now." Gu Wancheng pinched his cheek.
Chaochao gave a soft hum.
"Let's go over there and see how many your father found."
It's quite a waste that he and Chaochao only found this one. I sincerely hope he can do something to help.
Several boxes were placed next to Bo Yizhou, on whom Gu Wancheng had placed high hopes. Some of the boxes were familiar, while others were unfamiliar.
" President Bo, you're awesome!" Zhao Chengyu looked at the box next to him and gave him a thumbs up in praise.
[Just came from Chengcheng's place, what a stark contrast! This family can't function without President Bo.]
[ With President Bo two others, it's a piece of cake.]
"Thank you," Bo Yizhou said with a smile.
Zhao Chengyu sighed, "I only found four, and I didn't recognize any of them."
"Let me see."
Zhao Chengyu's eyes lit up, and he quickly handed over several boxes.
Bo Yizhou glanced at them, pointed to one of them, and said, "Cleopatra Cloud Butterfly."
Zhao Chengyu was dumbfounded. What was that? Why was there such a long name?
Did you hear me?
[His name is Cleo, something like Pink Butterfly.]
[I didn't hear it clearly at first, and I didn't remember it after hearing it again.]
Look into my clear eyes.
"Cleopatra the Cloud White Butterfly, or you could call her Cleopatra," Bo Yizhou repeated.
This is easy to remember.
Zhao Chengyu thought about it and then nodded.
"I don't recognize the rest either." He then pushed the box away.
Zhao Chengyu nodded in understanding. The remaining three were deep-sea fish, each uglier than the last, but they did resemble humans quite a bit. It was truly incomprehensible why ugly animals would all look like humans.
"Then I'll be going now," Zhao Chengyu said, clutching the box.
Bo Yizhou nodded, took the box, and went to another place, intending to look for the box and Gu Wancheng and the others at the same time.
"Chao, you're amazing! You found another one." Gu Wancheng and the other woman laughed like idiots.
Upon opening it, thankfully I recognized it; it was a cobra.
"What is this?" Chaochao asked curiously.
"It's a cobra, and it's venomous. Never go near it if you see it."
Okay.
