Gu Wancheng flicked Chaochao's forehead again, "Want to go to the zoo this afternoon?"
Chaochao immediately shouted, "Go!"
Gu Wancheng thought of Suisui again, so she asked, "Is Suisui going?"
Chaochao shook her head, " Suisui is busy, but I can bring back a Pinkie Pie balloon for him."
I'm still thinking about that balloon of yours. The one Chaochao brought back before was deflated, and I was sad about it for a whole day.
Gu Wancheng readily agreed, "Okay, I'll buy two." She just didn't know if there were any balloons for sale near the zoo entrance; if not, she'd have to go around to an amusement park or park entrance to buy them.
Chaochao leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Gu Wancheng was stunned for a moment, then pinched his mouth like a goldfish.
After struggling to speak for a few moments, Chaochao gave up and collapsed into his arms.
Gu Wancheng lifted him up and shook him. Chaochao saw stars and fell back into his arms. Gu Wancheng's lips curled up slightly, and he kneaded Chaochao's face like dough.
Chaochao was being played with like a toy, and he was in a daze. Luckily, he's already four years old. If he were any younger, he would definitely have cried and wouldn't have been able to be comforted.
After a while, Chaochao was almost asleep from being rubbed and kneaded, but he was forcibly woken up and taken downstairs for lunch.
After lunch, Gu Wancheng took a nap while holding Chaochao.
Around 1:30 pm, Gu Wancheng felt someone pinching his face. He frowned, moved his face slightly, and slowly opened his eyes.
Chaochao hadn't withdrawn her hand yet when she saw him open his eyes. She paused, hid her hand behind her back, blinked, and said softly, "Daddy, you're awake! Let's go to the zoo!"
Gu Wancheng felt a burning sensation on her face, narrowed her eyes, pinched his cheek, and said, "Did you do something bad? Hmm?"
Chaochao looked guilty, secretly glancing up at his slightly flushed cheeks, and said while fidgeting with her fingers, "No, um, I didn't do anything bad."
"Really?"
"Really?" To increase credibility, Chaochao nodded vigorously after saying that.
Gu Wancheng glanced at him, a half-smile on her face, and said, "Then why does my face hurt?"
Chaochao was so guilty she almost crawled under the bed, then suddenly had a flash of inspiration and looked up loudly, saying, "Because you got bitten by a bug!"
"Oh~" She looked down and met Chaochao's nervous little eyes, smiled, and said, "I see."
Seeing that he believed her, Chaochao nodded repeatedly, "Yes, that's exactly it."
After Gu Wancheng shooed him off the bed to change his clothes, he also got out of bed, rinsed his mouth in the bathroom, and then changed into a new set of clothes.
Take Chaochao with you to Cute Detective Zoo, the largest zoo in Sheng'an City.
On the way, Gu Wancheng bought the tickets directly on her phone to avoid having to queue up to buy tickets later, since it was Saturday and there would probably be a lot of people.
Sure enough, when we arrived at the zoo entrance, it was packed with people.
Gu Wancheng suddenly felt like backing out, but Chaochao was very excited and pulled him inside.
Gu Wancheng quickly grabbed him, "There are so many people here, what if we bump into someone?"
Chaochao raised her head proudly and said, "I know, apologize if you bump into someone!"
Gu Wancheng: "..."
Is that what he meant?
"Don't run around, or else..." Gu Wancheng looked up and glanced around, then pointed in one direction and said, "Or else you'll end up like them. You don't want Dad to lose money, do you?"
Where he was pointing, a child had apparently bumped into someone by accident. What should have been a simple apology was turning into a dispute, as the person who bumped into him was being unreasonable and demanding compensation. The child, who had never experienced anything like this before, had started crying. Gradually, a crowd gathered around and began pointing and gossiping about the person.
Gu Wancheng glanced over there again and saw through the gaps in the crowd that the child's parent took out their phone and scanned the other person's phone. It seemed that the price had been agreed upon. Then, the parent looked down and made some adjustments before pulling the child away.
Chaochao stared blankly. He didn't hear what they said, but he saw that the little boy was crying terribly.
Gu Wancheng then looked down at Chaochao and instructed, "Don't run around, do you hear me?"
Chaochao nodded. "I understand."
Relieved, Gu Wancheng noticed an older man selling balloons nearby and said, "Let's go buy Pinkie Pie balloons."
Chaochao's eyes lit up, "Where is it?"
"Over there." Gu Wancheng pulled Chaochao a few steps, and Chaochao finally saw the uncle selling balloons and excitedly shook his hand.
"Uncle, I want two balloons." Chaochao held up two fingers.
"What kind of one does the little one want?" the uncle asked kindly.
"I want Pinkie Pie!" Chaochao shouted.
"Okay, okay." The uncle took two different Pinkie Pie balloons and placed them in Chaochao's hands, then released them after making sure he had a firm grip.
Gu Wancheng transferred the money, a total of thirty yuan.
He squatted down and tied the balloon to the button of Chaochao's clothes, not making a tight knot so it would be easy to remove.
With two balloons tied to her body, Chaochao walked into the zoo.
"Wow! It's a tiger!" As soon as they entered the zoo, Chaochao saw a tiger lying lazily not far away. It seemed that tigers were his true love. He excitedly pulled Gu Wancheng over immediately.
Gu Wancheng slowly followed his lead.
Chaochao pressed her face against the glass, gazing longingly at the tiger inside, watching its thick tail swishing leisurely back and forth.
"Dad, I really want to take a picture with a tiger!"
"No, you don't want to," Gu Wancheng said expressionlessly.
"We would like!"
Um?
Gu Wancheng and Chaochao both looked behind them and saw a young couple. The girl was looking at them excitedly, while the boy wasn't as excited, but you could tell he was happy.
Gu Wancheng instantly understood; she had run into fans again.
He immediately smiled and said, "Hello."
" Chengcheng, good afternoon, Chaochao, can we take a picture together?" The girl held her boyfriend's hand tightly.
Gu Wancheng nodded and was about to speak when Chaochao immediately said, "Sure."
So Chaochao and Gu Wancheng stood on either side of the young couple and took a photo together.
The young couple walked away happily with their newly taken photo.
"Daddy, tiger."
Gu Wancheng looked at their energetic appearance with great satisfaction, when Chaochao's voice rang out beside her.
The tiger inside finally stopped lying down and started walking around. Chaochao was waving frantically at it, making its presence very noticeable. The tiger was attracted by him and walked towards him step by step.
The glossy fur shimmered golden in the sunlight, making Gu Wancheng's eyes light up. Her paws itched to touch it.
As the tiger drew closer, Chaochao showed no fear whatsoever, her face flushed with excitement.
"Dad, look at the tiger!"
"I saw it, I saw it."
Gu Wancheng suddenly had an idea and quickly took out her phone to write it down so she wouldn't forget it.
Gu Wancheng took a photo of Chaochao and the tiger from a considerable distance. Since they were in the same frame, how could it not be considered a photo? At least Chaochao was very satisfied.
