"Wow! There's a peacock here!" After leaving the tiger, Chaochao looked around and saw a male peacock displaying its tail feathers in front of a female peacock. Chaochao exclaimed in surprise at the beautiful tail feathers.
"Dad, the peacock's tail is so beautiful!"
Gu Wancheng nodded in agreement after seeing it; it was indeed beautiful. She also took a liking to the female peacock. Remembering that she had seen peacock feathers for sale earlier, she figured since she was already there, she could buy some souvenirs to take home later.
After admiring the peacock displaying its tail feathers for a while, the two moved to another spot.
Gu Wancheng stared blankly at the empty house. Where were the animals?
"Dad, have any of the animals here gone?" Chaochao asked worriedly.
Then Gu Wancheng took a few steps and saw a sign next to her that read "Golden Python".
So it was a snake. Gu Wancheng looked at the only tree with lush branches and leaves inside, raised her head and looked carefully for a few moments. Finally, she spotted some light yellow figures through the gaps, but she could still tell that the snake was not very old. No wonder it was so hard to find when it was hiding in the tree. It was a small snake.
Gu Wancheng looked down and asked, " Chaochao, are you afraid of snakes?"
"I'm not afraid! Where's the little snake?"
Gu Wancheng pointed to a spot, "There."
Chaochao looked again and again, scratching her head in confusion, "I don't see it."
Gu Wancheng glanced at Chaochao's height, bent down and picked him up, "Look there, do you see him?"
Chaochao opened her eyes wide and looked.
Suddenly, a tail drooped down from the tree, Gu Wancheng felt the hand gripping his arm tighten.
Chaochao pointed excitedly at the golden python's exposed tail and exclaimed, "It's a little snake! Its tail is showing!"
Gu Wancheng nodded, watching the tail retract again. "Yes, I saw it."
After waiting there for a while and confirming that the snake wouldn't appear, the two left with regret.
Chaochao looked up at Gu Wancheng and said, "Daddy, let's come see it again next time, okay?"
Gu Wancheng put the heavy baby down and rubbed his head. "Okay, we'll come with your father next time."
"Uh-huh."
They spent the entire afternoon at the zoo, and during that time they went to check on the golden python's territory again, but it still didn't appear.
The two decided to come back another time. They bought some souvenirs at a small shop, and Gu Wancheng sent a message to Bo Yizhou to tell him that they would pick him up from his company later to go home together.
He had agreed yesterday that he wouldn't work overtime today, which is why Gu Wancheng made this decision.
When they arrived at the company building, it wasn't yet time to leave work, Gu Wancheng and Chaochao decided to go upstairs to wait for him.
They walked straight in, and the security guard recognized them, allowing them to go inside first and take the elevator directly to the top-floor office door.
Gu Wancheng held up a finger to signal Chaochao to be quiet, then nudged him. " Chaochao, don't speak, go knock on the door. Let's give him a surprise."
Chaochao covered his mouth and nodded, then tiptoed up. Gu Wancheng's lips twitched. He told him not to speak, not to steal.
Hearing a sudden knock at the door, Bo Yizhou assumed it was Li Xiao and said, "Come in."
Gu Wancheng pulled Chaochao along, opened the door, and then hid to the side.
Bo Yizhou didn't hear any footsteps, so he looked up at the door in confusion. The door was open, but there was no one there.

After a while, a head popped out from the side and waved at him, "Father, Dad and I have come to pick you up."
Bo Yizhou's gaze softened instantly, and he nodded with a smile. Gu Wancheng rested her head on Chaochao's head, looking at him.
Bo Yizhou laughed and said, "Come in, are you just squatting at the door like a stone lion?"
Gu Wancheng gave him a look, then led Chaochao inside, closing the door behind her. "Surprised?"
Bo Yizhou smiled. "Surprised."
Chaochao lay on the edge of the table, half her face showing, "Father, Daddy and I went to the zoo!"
"Hmm, is it fun?"
"It was fun! We saw tigers and lots of other animals, but the little snake kept hiding and wouldn't let us see it. Dad said we'll go see it together next time."
"Okay, I'll go with you next time."
Gu Wancheng said, "It's almost time to get off work, isn't it?"
Bo Yizhou nodded slightly. "Yes, please have a seat."
"Do you think going to the grasslands will be a lot of fun? I want to ride horses. Can you ride a horse?"
Chaochao raised her hand to speak, "Of course Father knows! Our family also has a horse farm with lots of ponies. I have my own pony too!"
Gu Wancheng looked puzzled. How come he didn't know? Oh, he doesn't pay attention to these things.
"I know how, I can teach you later."
"It's settled then."
"Good."
After waiting inside for a while, Bo Yizhou put the files on the desktop away, shut down the computer, got up to grab his clothes, and called out to the two people who were watching TV.
Gu Wancheng and Chaochao forcibly looked away, closed their laptops, and walked to his side.
As she went outside, she ran into Li Xiao again. Gu Wancheng sighed. It was the same familiar scene all along. How many times had this happened?
Li Xiao greeted him with a smile.
Bo Yizhou said, "Send a message if anything happens."

Li Xiao smiled and nodded, watching the family of three leave, then turned back to continue working overtime like a beast of burden.

He even hanged himself at his doorstep. Why didn't he hang himself at President Bo's doorstep?

After Gu Wancheng and the other two returned home, Chaochao ran to Suisui's house to give out the balloons and then came back with a small gift.
Gu Wancheng asked curiously, "What is this?"
Chaochao opened the box and handed it to him, "It's cookies."
Gu Wancheng reached out, grabbed a piece, and put it in her mouth. The taste was so-so, and there was room for improvement. She was just about to express her opinion.
The next second, Chaochao said, "It was made by Suisui."
Gu Wancheng swallowed back the words she was about to say, and then changed the subject, " Suisui is amazing, she can even make cookies."
