White Tiger originates from Ye Yao’s reincarnation on Douluo Continent, during which his soul splits among four sacred-beast bodies. The Four Sacred Beasts System instructs him to become Soul Rings for powerful Soul Masters and possess their bodies after being killed. His broader rewards include obtaining sacred-beast Martial Souls and condensing sacred-beast godhood 1.

Heavenly Screen Revelation

The Heavenly Screen exposes White Tiger’s location in White Tiger Canyon and places it among the continent’s four highest-ranked Soul Beasts. Many observers reject the ranking because its two-hundred-thousand-year cultivation appears insufficient to justify placing it above the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King 6 7.

Spirit Hall, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and imperial forces redirect their hunting parties toward the canyon. They consider a lone White Tiger a safer target than confronting the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python together 7.

Battle of White Tiger Canyon

The hunters discover that White Tiger is several hundred meters tall, far larger than the Heavenly Screen’s images suggested. Its opening paw strike fractures the ice field, while its spiritual roar disables numerous weaker Soul Masters and forces the Titled Douluos to intervene 9.

White Tiger withstands probing attacks, evades Sword Douluo’s sword strike, and injures Yu Yuanzhen in a direct clash. The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and both empires eventually withdraw. Ning Fengzhi also retreats rather than exhaust his sect against the beast while Spirit Hall conserves its strength 10 11 12 13.

With its rivals gone, Spirit Hall concentrates its attacks on White Tiger’s left foreleg. Chrysanthemum Douluo opens wounds, and Bibi Dong exploits them with spider legs, corrosive power, venom, and the Sword of Eternity. White Tiger repeatedly retaliates, but sustained poisoning and difficult-to-heal sword wounds gradually overcome its recovery 14 22 26.

The revelation that the Four Holy Beasts can fuse beyond God Level briefly interrupts the battle. Bibi Dong nevertheless resumes attacking, reasoning that their separation offers an opportunity to kill them individually 16 17.

Death and Entry into Bibi Dong’s Martial Soul Space

By Qian Daoliu’s arrival, White Tiger’s left foreleg is unusable and its strength is nearly exhausted. Qian Daoliu traps it in an angelic barrier and attacks with an Angel Blade. White Tiger’s spiritual power briefly contests the blade before its final mental strike leaves Qian Daoliu immobilized and bleeding from his seven orifices 27 28.

Bibi Dong exploits the opening and repeatedly slashes White Tiger’s throat with the Sword of Eternity, killing the beast body. Its death creates an invisible connection between Ye Yao’s soul avatar and Bibi Dong 29.

As Bibi Dong absorbs the resulting Soul Ring, Ye Yao manifests inside her Martial Soul space. He devours the Soul Devouring Spider Emperor and the Death Spider Emperor, then assimilates her power into pure-white energy while she remains unable to intervene 29 30.

Appearance

• Soul manifestation: After death, Ye Yao appears within Bibi Dong’s Martial Soul space as a tall human with short black hair, a white robe, and a white “king” character on his forehead. This is his soul’s appearance, not a demonstrated transformation of the living tiger body 29.

Personality

White Tiger’s decisions reflect Ye Yao’s intentions rather than those of a separate consciousness. He calmly evaluates the hunters as potential hosts, initially considering Bibi Dong and Yu Yuanzhen the most likely candidates to kill his avatar 10.

His goal reverses the apparent stakes of the battle: as Bibi Dong wounds him more seriously, he becomes increasingly pleased at the prospect of being killed and absorbed by her. He values her strength and divine inheritance, and prefers her as a host over Qian Daoliu 22 28.
