Just as Dominic embarked on his quest for the dragon, at Brevis Governor's Office.

Lynn was standing in front of the star map, watching the dot representing Dominic's hunting team move deeper into the ice field.

Then it entered a no-signal zone, and the light spot disappeared.

"He really dares to go?" Lynn shook his head, a hint of helplessness in his voice.

"Where is he going?" Rena's voice echoed in his mind.

Then a pink Ripper crawled out of his collar, perched on his shoulder, and looked curiously at the star map.

"There's nothing on the ice field except for that food."

"He's going to find the Dragon of Frost," Lynn said.

" Dragon of Frost?" The Ripper tilted its head. "Isn't that me? What does he want with me?"

"He wants to turn you into a specimen and put you in his collection room," Lynn joked.

"What?!" The Ripper bristled instantly, its tiny claws gripping Lynn's clothes tightly.

"He wouldn't dare! If he dares to come, I'll eat him whole!"

"Hahaha." Lynn flicked its little head.

Looking at Rena, who was cooperating with his acting, Lynn couldn't help but laugh.

"But we can't reveal it either. If he finds out that the Dragon of Frost is a Tyranids, we're all doomed."

Lynn's brows furrowed deeply.

Dominic's sudden action completely disrupted his plans.

The Brevis Tyranids's stronghold is located deep within the ice plains.

Rena's true form lies dormant in Twin Peaks Mountain, deep within the icy plains, while millions of her Frost Soldier are hidden in various caves throughout the ice plains.

Although he has ordered the cleanup of all obvious Tyranids traces, there is no guarantee that nothing might have been missed.

Moreover, Sisters of Silence Ralfa was definitely with Dominic.

The Sisters of Silence' perception of Psychic Power was no less than that of any keen detector.

We must send someone to monitor Dominic's every move, at least to find out what he knows.

But who should we send?

Lynn's fingers unconsciously fiddled with her hair as her mind raced.

Suddenly, his eyes lit up.

He thought of someone.

Someone who would never be suspected by the Sisters of Silence and who was capable of carrying out the surveillance mission.

" Rena, contact Sorine for me," Lynn said.

" Sorine? That Inquisitor?" The Ripper's tone carried a hint of reluctance.

"Why do you want to see her?"

"Let her spy on Dominic," Lynn said.

"She's Inquisitor, her position is strong enough, even if she's discovered, she'll have a plausible excuse."

"Moreover, she possesses Aeldari invisibility technology, making her undetectable by Sisters of Silence."

"Oh..." The Ripper responded listlessly, but still agreed.

Ten minutes later, in the Governor's Mansion's secret meeting room.

Sorine Wimlot pushed open the door and came in.

She was still wearing her signature long, flowing Aeldari, her long silver hair tied back, and her red eyes as vibrant as pomegranates.

After several months apart, her demeanor had become even colder, and she carried an added air of authority befitting Inquisitor.

"What do you want?" Sorine walked up to Lynn and asked directly.

Her gaze fell on Lynn's face, scrutinizing him, with a hint of barely perceptible gentleness.

Ever since she was bound to that strange system, she had been secretly observing Lynn.

She discovered that although this "Governor of Tyranids " was colluding with the Tyranids, everything he did was at least beneficial to Brevis and the people.

Compared to those hypocritical Imperium nobles and corrupt officials, Lynn was more like a true guardian of the Imperium.

The Inquisition's creed was "For the Emperor, by any means necessary."

Since Lynn can use the power of the Tyranids to protect the Imperium's planet, she doesn't mind turning a blind eye.

They're like that themselves anyway.

" The Tithe Fleet is here, you should know that, right?" Lynn said.

"I understand." Sorine nodded.

"Major General Dominic Ventria of Ventria, and Lalathin the Huntress of Oblivion of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, make for a very impressive lineup."

" Dominic is on the ice plains right now," Lynn said. "He's looking for the Dragon of Frost."

Sorine raised an eyebrow slightly. " Dragon of Frost? That legend? He actually believes it?"

"I don't know if he believes it or not, but he definitely went to find it." Lynn spread his hands, somewhat speechless.

"As you know, the ice field is 'their' territory. If he really finds something he shouldn't be looking for, the consequences will be unimaginable."

"So, you want me to spy on him?" Sorine looked at Lynn, a faint smile playing on her lips.

"Yes." Lynn nodded.

"Your identity is most suitable; it's perfectly reasonable for Inquisitor to investigate anything on the planet."

"Furthermore, your Aeldari equipment will prevent you from being detected by Sisters of Silence."

"A nobleman from Ventria, so young to become a rear admiral, and to receive the personal protection of the Lady of the Black Ship."

Sorine's tone was somewhat teasing.

"I think he's much more 'loyal' than you, aren't you afraid I'll tell him your secret?"

Lynn frowned.

Seeing that Lynn had been tricked, Sorine raised her eyebrows smugly.

Just as Lynn was about to explain, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his cuff.

"Ah!" Lynn couldn't help but gasp softly.

"What's wrong?" Sorine looked at him, puzzled.

"N-nothing..." Lynn smiled awkwardly, secretly soothing the little Ripper that was biting him from inside his sleeve.

He looked up at Sorine and said earnestly:

"I know you won't. You're different from those corrupt Inquisitor; what you truly care about is the safety of the Imperium."

" Brevis can't afford to panic. If Dominic discovers the existence of the Tyranids, a bloody battle is inevitable."

" Brevis will be reduced to ashes, and billions will die. That's not what you want to see."

Sorine looked into Lynn's earnest eyes and remained silent for a few seconds.

Then she smiled.

"Okay, I'll help you."

Lynn was stunned; he hadn't expected Sorine to agree so readily.

Seeing Lynn's surprised expression, Sorine's smile deepened:

"What, are you surprised? I was just teasing you."

Lynn shook his head helplessly. "Hesitant..."

"However, the word 'surveillance' sounds too harsh," Sorine said seriously, her smile fading.

"I'm not spying on him for you; I'm investigating the possibility of Xenos appearing on the ice field."

"And by the way, let's 'check in' on the safety of this tax collector. After all, if anything happens to him in Brevis, we'll be in a difficult position to explain."

"Yes, that's it." Lynn nodded quickly.

"If necessary, you can also offer him some assistance, such as diverting him away from those dangerous areas."

"I know what to do." Sorine nodded and turned to walk towards the door.

As she reached the door, she stopped, turned back to look at Lynn, and said meaningfully.

Don't worry, I won't let him find out your little secret.

After saying that, she pushed open the door and disappeared down the corridor.

Lynn looked at the closed door and breathed a sigh of relief.

The Ripper on the cuff poked its head out and said angrily, "That woman's smile is so annoying!"

"Haha, I think so too." Lynn rubbed its little head.

"But Sorine is our best option right now. With her around, we can better control the situation on Dominic's side."

"Hmph!" The Ripper snorted, burrowed back into Lynn's sleeve, and said no more.

Lynn walked to the star map again, watching Dominic disappear into the heart of the icy plains.

He still felt a vague unease in his heart.

I hope everything goes well.
