The mask covered his mouth and nose perfectly, filtering out any potentially harmful substances in the air.

"Keep it on, don't take it off." Sorine's voice remained cold and devoid of any emotion.

"What... what are you going to do?" Dominic's voice came through the mask, sounding muffled.

He could smell the faint, cool fragrance lingering on the mask, reminiscent of Sorine's body.

Sorine did not answer him.

She stood up and walked to the blast door.

Then, she suddenly pulled open the blast door a crack.

"Watch out!" Dominic warned instinctively.

But Sorine moved very quickly.

With a flick of her wrist, she threw three " Twilight " grenades precisely into the bridge hall.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Three soft explosions were heard.

A large amount of yellow smoke instantly gushed out of the grenade.

Like a sudden thick fog appearing on the sea, it spread rapidly.

Within seconds, the entire bridge hall was enveloped in thick yellow smoke.

Visibility was less than half a meter.

"Cough cough... What is that?!"

"Damn it, my eyes!"

"You can't see anymore, so don't move!"

The shouts of Blood Axes agents could be heard through the smoke.

The neurotoxin in the " Twilight " grenade began to take effect.

Their vision blurred, and their limbs began to feel slightly numb.

But Blood Axes agents are, after all, a highly trained assassination unit.

After a brief moment of panic, they quickly calmed down.

"Don't panic!" the leading agent squad leader shouted.

"This is just a smokescreen! They're already at their last gasp; they can't pose any real threat!"

"Everyone stay put and remain at your posts!"

"When the smoke clears, their death is nigh!"

His voice came through the smoke, brimming with confidence.

In his view, Dominic, Sorine, and the others had run out of ammunition and supplies, and throwing smoke bombs was nothing more than a desperate struggle.

Once the smoke clears, they can easily end this battle.

But he was destined to be disappointed.

Just as the leading agent squad leader put down his communicator and prepared to adjust his defensive stance...

A purple shadow had already silently disappeared into the smoke.

Lynn's speed was incredibly fast.

Under the cover of smoke, his figure was completely hidden in the yellowish-green mist.

The Blood Axes agents could only hear the sharp sound of wind cutting through the air, but they couldn't see the enemy's location at all.

"Buzz!"

A loud bang.

The hand holding the communicator fell to the ground as the leader of the special agent squad dropped it.

He didn't even have time to feel the pain.

His entire body had already turned into a blood mist under the force of an immense power.

Dark green blood and bits of flesh sprayed onto the surrounding walls, adding an eerie green hue to the yellow smoke.

"Team leader?!"

"Captain, what's wrong?!"

Several nearby agents heard the commotion and shouted loudly.

But no one responded to them.

Death awaited them.

Lynn and Rena moved through the smoke.

Their movements were clean and efficient, without any unnecessary actions.

Every time they took action, at least one agent died.

Claws slashed through the throat, fists smashed the skull, and blood and flesh splattered everywhere due to the external force.

Various chilling sounds rose and fell amidst the smoke.

But these sounds were all extremely brief.

It often only sounds once, then stops abruptly.

Thirty-odd Blood Axes agents were nothing more than a bunch of numbers to be eliminated in front of Lynn.

These young men, known for their assassinations, died without even seeing a glimpse of their enemy, their deaths shrouded in mystery.

The whole process took only about five seconds.

When the last Blood Axes agent fell to the ground.

Lynn and Rena's figures had already disappeared into the Twilight mist.

It was as if he had never existed.

In the smoke, only the heavy smell of blood and a deathly silence remained.

Sorine, behind the blast door, listened quietly to the sounds outside.

After all the sounds disappeared.

She said to Lynn in her heart, "Thank you."

"No need," Lynn's voice came.

"I'm not doing this for you, but watch over Dominic, don't let him die, he's still useful."

After he finished speaking, the communication channel was cut off.

Sorine frowned slightly.

She knew that this man would never do anything meaningless.

He must have had his own reasons for saving Dominic.

But she didn't ask any further questions.

Even if she asked, Lynn wouldn't tell her.

Three minutes later.

The yellowish-green smoke gradually dissipated.

The bridge hall was once again exposed to everyone's view.

When Dominic and the surviving officers saw what was before them.

Everyone was stunned.

The entire bridge hall floor was covered with bits of flesh and dark green blood.

Control consoles on the walls, on the ceiling, and everywhere.

Fragments of blood, flesh, and internal organs were sprayed everywhere.

More than thirty Blood Axes agents were all killed.

Not a single one survived.

Their deaths were extremely gruesome; most of them were beaten beyond recognition.

It's hard to imagine that this killing took place in just three minutes.

On the human side, miraculously, there were no new casualties.

"What... exactly happened?"

A young officer asked, his voice trembling, his face filled with disbelief.

Dominic could hardly believe what was happening before his eyes.

He turned his head sharply and looked at Sorine.

But there was no one beside him.

Sorine had disappeared without her noticing.

The explosion-proof door was wide open, and the space around it was completely empty.

" Inquisitor?"

Dominic shouted.

No one responded.

"Did she do it...?"

Dominic muttered to himself.

This sounds incredibly unreal.

One man, in three minutes, killed more than thirty elite Blood Axes agents with his bare hands.

This was beyond his understanding of human combat capabilities.

But he knew that the Inquisitor were that kind of people.

They possess the Imperium's most powerful weapons and most mysterious technology.

They often use methods that go beyond the "rules" to accomplish their tasks.

Perhaps the silver-haired Inquisitor just now used some kind of secret weapon of the Inquisition to instantly eliminate all the Orks agents.

Dominic removed the black mask from his face.

Her faint fragrance still lingered on the mask.

He looked at the empty corridor, his eyes filled with a sense of melancholy.

This mysterious Inquisitor vanished without a trace, just as she had appeared.

They didn't even leave a goodbye.

Just then...

A series of hurried footsteps came from the end of the corridor.

"Lord Dominic, are you alright?"

"We've come to rescue you!"

A large number of Imperium soldiers, armed with weapons, rushed in.

They were the garrison troops from other parts of the Gemstone, and after dealing with the Orks in other areas, they finally arrived at the bridge to provide support.

They were stunned when they saw the scene on the bridge.

But they quickly realized what was happening and immediately began clearing the scene and treating the wounded.

"Reporting, sir!" A soldier captain ran up to Dominic and gave him a crisp military salute.

"We conducted a thorough search of the ruins of the banquet hall."

No signs of life were detected in the Orks.

"Based on the analysis of residual energy at the scene, Ragnar has been completely annihilated!"
