Within those 12 hours, the Orks Fleet had lost more than half of its warships, and most of the remaining ships were damaged.
If the fighting continues, their own warships will fall apart before the smaller ships even have a chance to fight.
"Retreat! Retreat quickly!"
Someone shouted first, and the remaining Orks warships scattered in an instant.
They changed direction and fled in all directions from Dorito, deliberately giving way to the Imperial Fleet.
"Let them leave if they want, we can't beat them anyway!"
"We'll fight them again next time they come!"
Dominic watched the Orks warships scatter and flee, but did not order a pursuit.
"Calculate the battle losses," he said calmly.
"Reporting, sir! One of our Mars-class Battlecruiser has sustained moderate damage; its Void Shield Generator is damaged and requires major repairs."
"Five cruisers were damaged to varying degrees, one frigate was lost, and 320,000 soldiers were killed in action," the adjutant reported respectfully.
Dominic nodded, but there was no smug expression on his face.
With such minimal cost, they not only successfully broke through but also Dorito damaged Orks fleet; by all accounts, it was a resounding victory.
But he also knew that now was not the time to be happy.
"Order all warships to immediately turn around and proceed at full speed to the Carl II! Support the Brevis Expeditionary Fleet!"
"Yes, sir!"
The Imperial Fleet quickly reorganized and sped off towards the Carl II.
By the time Dominic's fleet arrived near the Carl II, the battle there was nearing its end.
Countless Orks warships floated in space, while the gray warships of the Brevis Expeditionary Fleet, in neat formation, calmly cleared away the remaining enemies.
Only seven or eight Orks warships remained, stubbornly putting up a fight. Their hulls were riddled with holes, and their engines were belching black smoke; they clearly wouldn't last much longer.
"That's... the flagship of the raiding fleet?" a naval officer exclaimed in surprise, pointing to a Orks warship broken in two.
The warship's bow, still painted with the Blood Axe Clan's red ghost-face sun emblem, had been blasted open, its contents sucked into space.
"Yes, sir." Gus's communication came through, his voice carrying a hint of relief.
"I killed Red Raven during the first wave of boarding action. I originally planned to slowly deal with the remaining remnants to minimize my losses."
Dominic looked at the Brevis warships that were maneuvering with ease, and his heart was filled with mixed emotions.
He had initially thought these seemingly ragtag expeditionary fleets were not very combat-effective.
Unexpectedly, the forty elite Orks raiding fleet was utterly defeated, with even their leader being killed.
And judging from their appearance, the losses seem minimal.
"It's truly a blessing for the Imperium to have someone like Kerry von," Dominic murmured with admiration.
He turned to his adjutant and said, "After this war ends, I will personally write a letter of recommendation and submit it to the Imperium Administratum the Interior and the Navy."
"We must make sure that the adults in Terra know about Governor Kerry's achievements."
The adjutant nodded. "Your Excellency is wise; Governor Kerry is indeed worthy of being given an important position."
"Alright." Dominic looked away.
"Order all warships to fire a salvo and eliminate the remaining Orks warships!"
"Yes, sir!"
At Dominic's command, dozens of Imperium warships opened fire simultaneously.
Countless beams of light and shells slammed into the few remaining Orks warships.
With just one salvo, the last few Orks warships were all blown to pieces.
The threat near Carl II has been completely eliminated.
Two days later, on Planet Dorito.
In the temporary command room beneath the Cauldron City, Ragnar was pacing back and forth restlessly.
His injuries have mostly healed, and his broken arm has regrowed, though it's still not very flexible.
The giant mouth on its belly had healed, and it was constantly chewing on a large piece of Squig meat.
But he was in a terrible mood.
Two days have passed, and he has received no news from Red Raven.
Neither news of capturing Carl II nor any distress signal came.
Red Raven and his eighty warships seemed to have vanished into thin air.
"What's going on? What on earth is Red Raven doing?" Ragnar stopped and roared at the Warboss around him.
"Two days have passed, and there's still no news. Did he run away with the fleet?"
"Boss, it shouldn't be, right?" a Warboss said cautiously.
" Red Raven isn't that kind of person; the communications were probably jammed by Shrimp."
"Interference? Can't get in touch for two days?" Ragnar scoffed, his eyes filled with suspicion.
Just then, a communications soldier stumbled in, his face filled with terror:
"Boss, boss! Something terrible has happened! Shrimp's fleet is back!"
"What?!" Ragnar rushed to the communications soldier, grabbed him by the collar, and lifted him up.
"What did you say? The shrimp's fleet is back? How many ships are there?"
"A lot, even more than last time!" The communications soldier trembled with fear.
"They have breached our orbital defenses again and are heading towards the other side of Dorito!"
Ragnar threw the communications soldier to the ground and rushed to the star map.
Sure enough, on the star map, Dorito.
That's the Imperium's fleet!
The red dots representing the Orks fleet numbered less than sixty and were scattering in all directions.
Clearly, they were utterly powerless to resist the Imperial Fleet's attack.
"Useless! A bunch of useless trash!" Ragnar trembled with rage, slamming his fist into the star map on the screen, destroying it completely.
"Our fleet can't even hold out for three hours!"
In less than three hours, the Orks railway defenses were completely breached.
The remaining Orks warships dared not engage the Imperial Fleet and scattered in all directions, some hiding in the asteroid belt and others flying towards the outer reaches of the star system.
Instead of pursuing the fleeing Orks warships, the Imperial Fleet went straight to the other side of Dorito.
This area was not covered by the last bombing, and there are still large areas of intact mushroom fields and Mekboy workshops.
"Order all warships to begin bombing!" Dominic's voice rang out coldly.
Don't be stingy with ammunition!
A new round of bombing has begun.
Countless beams of light and projectiles once again slammed into the surface of Dorito.
Explosions rang out continuously, the earth trembled, and the sky was shrouded in black smoke.
Mushroom fields were burned to ashes, and workshops were razed to the ground.
Ragnar stood in the underground command room, listening to the continuous explosions overhead, his face ashen.
He had no choice.
His fleet had already fled, and the ground-based anti-aircraft firepower had long been destroyed by the previous bombing.
He could only watch helplessly as his family business was gradually destroyed by these scoundrels.
" Toothy!" Ragnar suddenly roared, his eyes bloodshot.
"Bring Toothy here!"
Several guards immediately rushed out.
Before long, Toothy was brought over by two guards.
He was still wearing his clean leather armor, his face showing no sign of panic, as if he had expected this day.
"Boss, you wanted to see me?" Toothy asked calmly.
"You dare ask me what I want with you?!" Ragnar suddenly rushed in front of Toothy, pointing his huge hand at his nose, and roared.
"What about your plan? Didn't you say you could cut off the shrimp's escape route? What about Red Raven? What about my forty warships?"
"Now that shrimp's fleet is back, they're bombing our remaining mushroom fields! Tell me! What's going on?!"
Toothy raised his head, looked at Ragnar, and said calmly:
"Boss, my plan is fine."
"But those shrimps were too cunning; they anticipated our attack on Carl II and laid an ambush there."
"The plan is fine?" Ragnar laughed angrily, his laughter filled with murderous intent.
"It's all a failure now, so nothing you say will make a difference."
In the world of Orks, results are everything.
Even though the plan was approved by Ragnar, the process was just one step off.
But no matter how it goes, if the plan fails, you deserve to die!
