Lu Changsheng’s disciples completed the Immortal Affinity Heavenly Pool trial before returning to rescue the Low-Latitude Realm from the Departed Soul Spirit Palace. After further cultivation, Xiao Hei and three companions investigated spreading dark demonic Qi and joined the defense of Xingning City.

• Ye Qiubai and the other Cottage disciples passed the mountain trials, and Fang Qiong strengthened himself by absorbing the illusion array spirit.
• The nine Cottage disciples formed complete Immortal Affinity Marks, Fen Yan formed half a mark, and Lu Changsheng took his disciples away before others could approach them.

After learning of a dragon vein in the Heavenly River Star Region, the group split up to join rival forces and compete for access to it.

• Ye Qiubai, Fang Qiong, and Mu Fusheng defended Xingning City through two beast tides, killing several Divine General-level Devil Beasts and earning Zhongchang Gong’s information and maps.
• Zhongchang Gong and the Divine Body Sect ambushed Ye Qiubai’s group over the Azure Cloud Sword, but the four escaped into the dark demonic Qi and Fang Qiong killed Elder Zhong with a combined formation.
• Mo Ge triggered an eruption of dark demonic Qi near the Devil God Dark Armor, and Xiao Hei’s arrival awakened the armor as Mo Li and Mo Ge tried to take him back.
• Dongcheng Wan and Divine Lord Hao Tian protected Xiao Hei, while he defeated an Early God King Realm opponent and warned Mo Ge and Mo Li that he would reclaim everything in the Demon King Domain.
