Ye Qiubai and his companions defeated Mo Li and ventured into Cloud Dream Marsh to recover one of Xiao Hei's souls, uncovering Xiangliu's imprisonment and drawing Lu Changsheng into conflict with the Ghost Race. Xiao Hei entered the Nine Nether Underworld, while Ye Qiubai traveled to the Extreme Cold Star Region to investigate Mu Ziqing's danger.

• Mu Fusheng and his companions killed Mo Li and the Wolf King, escaped the marsh, and arranged to trade Cloud Illusion Pills for information and guidance.
• Ye Qiubai and his companions escaped a Swamp Behemoth through a concentrated attack and entered a Forbidden Zone of Life.
• Fang Qiong overcame an illusion of his family's slaughter, claimed the Illusion Realm Core, and learned that Xiangliu guarded one of Xiao Hei's souls.
