Lu Changsheng and his disciples sealed a Southern Region rift, entered an ancient realm, and helped defeat the Sunset Dynasty. The disciples returned to the Cottage as Lu Changsheng struggled to complete its grand formation and Ye Qiubai tested applicants.
Hong Ying restored the Cloud Phoenix Empire and took control of the Wilderness Realm’s Heavenly Dao, while Ye Qiubai, Xiao Hei, and Shi Sheng traveled to the Boundless Realm and formed a mercenary group. The volume ended with Hong Ying preparing to spread the Dao and travel to the Boundless Realm, as the three disciples faced dangers surrounding the Demon Abyss Token.

The disciples joined the struggle against the Extraterrestrial Evil Race and entered the Demon Abyss, where Xiao Hei continued his trials as Lu Changsheng sealed a spatial disturbance outside.
The Cottage disciples fought the Extraterrestrial Evil Race and resisted the Mid-Latitude forces, then a spatial storm scattered them across the Mid-Latitude Realm. Lu Changsheng began forging a new world, Xiao Hei advanced toward recovering his memories, and Ye Qiubai rescued Mu Ziqing as the Vast Sea Sect put a price on them.
Ye Qiubai and his companions defeated rival sects, freed the Evil Domain's captives, and found Shi Sheng in the Starry Sky Mystic Realm. Lu Changsheng obtained Star Essence and learned of a coming calamity across the six realms, while his disciples pursued greater strength and Hong Ying expanded the Cloud Phoenix Empire.
Mu Fusheng, Xiao Hei, and Ye Qiubai led their factions through the Ten Thousand Domains Grand Competition and the dangerous trials of Severed Soul City. As Avici Purgatory freed the Purgatory Ancestor and set its sights on Xiao Hei, Yuezheng Chi proposed an immediate assault on Purgatory City.
Lu Changsheng and the Cottage disciples grew stronger while confronting Avici Purgatory, Qi Shadao, and the schemes surrounding Severed Soul City. The volume ended with the group winning clues about the High-Latitude Realm at the Endless Sea auction while remaining wary of the Tianjin Chamber of Commerce.

There they claimed powerful inheritances as Xin Hongyi accepted her devil bloodline and Hong Ying began the Imperial Dragon God Emperor’s trial.
Ye Qiubai and his companions uncovered inheritances and clashed with the Supervisory Sacred Hall as they pursued the Kunlun Ruins and the Fusheng Diagram. Xiao Hei reached his imprisoned sister in the Demon King Domain, but his identity as the Devil Master was revealed, and a mysterious figure intervened as the Desolation Lord attacked him.
Lu Changsheng and his disciples fought the Evil Devil Domain’s invasion while Xiao Hei uncovered his heritage and became central to the war. After the Mortal Realm began rebuilding, the disciples traveled to the Chaos Realm, where Xiao Hei faced Feng Ye.
Xiao Hei and his companions survived a succession struggle, won the Nine Dragons military exercises, and explored the Tortoise Tomb while gaining powerful inheritances. As the academy delegation traveled to the Six Realms Academy Grand Competition, an ambush separated the students from Vice Dean Ming, leaving Mu Fusheng’s group planning an escape.
The Mortal Realm's disciples won major contests while Ye Qiubai secured the Azure Cloud Sword Master's inheritance and Ning Chenxin confronted the Buddhist Sect over its use of faith. The volume ended with the Six Realms Students Exchange approaching and Ning Chenxin heading to the Buddhist Sect after finding Cold Soil Village destroyed.
Lu Changsheng and his disciples pursued the Classic of Mountains and Seas, survived trials and clan conflicts, and gained new inheritances and allies. The volume ended with Lu Changsheng intervening in the beast clans’ confrontation and preparing to advance Xu Yeming’s plan to control the Devil Beast Continent.

Xu Yeming and his allies fought to protect Heavenly Heart Valley, while Mu Fusheng and his companions defended the Nine Dragons Divine Dynasty and entered the Chaos Divine Dynasty’s ruins. The trials brought them to a confrontation with Xuanyuan Zixi, where five attackers turned against Xu Yeming.
Xu Yeming uncovered the Divine Realm’s schemes while Lu Changsheng infiltrated it and concealed his strength as he pursued its plans and protected Jiang Yiyu. As the Chaos Divine Dynasty’s core palace opened, Ye Qiubai’s companions passed trials and learned that Heaven Beyond Heaven posed grave dangers.
Lu Changsheng and his disciples uncovered the Divine Realm’s schemes, claimed inheritances, and found a branch of the World Tree. As the Divine Realm invaded the Lower Five Realms, Hong Ying led an alliance and Ye Qiubai’s squad prepared to defeat two injured Chief Gods.
After Lu Changsheng saved the Lower Five Realms and sent his disciples onward, they investigated the Sacred Church’s blood rites in the Soaring Realm and uncovered a trail leading to the Nether River Abyss. The disciples reached the abyss, where Xu Yeming faced the Nether River Ancestor before Dong Sanqiang rescued him.
