The arc ended with Ye Qiubai and his companions battling Pan Xie’s transformed fighters as Mu Fusheng’s lightning advanced toward Dao Law.

• Yuezheng Chi and Lin Zhinan led an assault on Purgatory City, but Pan Xie’s secret art turned the defenders into Earth Immortals and forced the alliance to retreat with heavy losses.
• Ye Qiubai defeated Nie Bingchen in a duel, and Mu Fusheng killed Nie when he tried to defect to Avici Purgatory.
• Ye Qiubai, Mu Fusheng, Xiao Hei, and their allies entered Nebula City’s cultivation tower, where they fought Devil Beasts under suppressed cultivation and soul power.

Xiao Hei awakened a soul fragment and helped Ye Qiubai and their companions defeat Qi Shadao, then the group uncovered a plot to control the cultivators who claimed Severed Soul City’s reward. The story left them absorbing purified soul essence while Lu Changsheng reunited with his disciples and began helping Hong Ying fuse the powers of the realms.

• Ye Qiubai killed Pan Xie, Mu Fusheng killed Han Hua, and Xiao Hei unleashed Demon God Descent as a black pillar awakened in Demon King City.
• Xiao Hei merged with a soul fragment, learned that his next fragment lay in the Kunlun Ruins, and recovered memories of the woman who divided his soul to protect it.
• Qi Shadao fused with Chi Bing’s corpse and fought Ye Qiubai, Mu Fusheng, Xiao Hei, and their allies, but his borrowed body rejected him and he fled.
• The group occupied Purgatory City, Demon King City, and Nebula City, then received books from the old man at the Cultivation Tower’s peak.
• A mysterious figure offered the group Severed Soul City’s star river and its purified soul power, but Mu Fusheng and Ye Qiubai exposed the figure’s plan to control them.
• Ye Qiubai and the others rejected the figure’s offer, and Xiao Hei destroyed the hidden imprint in the star river’s soul entity.
• Ye Qiubai, Mu Fusheng, Lin Zhinan, and Su Muyou absorbed soul essence while Mu Fusheng cultivated Cold Soul White Flame with Heavenly Punishment Divine Lightning.

After Mu Wan’er was harassed by a Hehuan Sect disciple, Hong Ying fought the sect’s elders and Mu Fusheng ambushed them as they fled.

• Lu Changsheng helped Hong Ying seal the heart of the latitude in her dantian, and she advanced to the late Earth Immortal Realm.
• Ye Qiubai and his companions escaped the forces surrounding Severed Soul City, while Qi Shadao ordered Avici Purgatory to target Xiao Hei and spread a false rumor about the High-Latitude Realm.
• At the Evil-Slaying Conference, Qi Shadao used Chi Bing’s body to expose his attack on Heavenly Sword Peak, forcing Huo Zhengheng and Ye Qiubai to return there as the conference collapsed.

The Holy Talisman Sect won a clue connected to the High-Latitude Realm, while the group remained wary of the Chamber’s ties and Shi Sheng was pushed toward Zi Shan.

• Mu Fusheng killed Yuan Xianzhi and three Hehuan Sect elders with Heavenly Immortal talismans, exposing his power to the Firmament Domain.
• Xiao Hei strengthened his bloodline at Immortal Ape Village and joined the others, while Ye Qiubai broke through to the Immortal Sword Realm at Heavenly Sword Peak.
