History
Intervention for Chen Wen
Wu Xiao intervened after learning that Chen Wen had been beaten by Lin Feng. Chen Wen’s father, Chen Ao, had given him numerous benefits, and Wu Xiao intended to cripple Lin Feng to demonstrate his loyalty to the Chen Clan. Knowing that Lin Feng’s father was dead, he believed the orphan had no one who would hold him accountable 13.
When Lin Feng ignored his orders and kicked Chen Wen away, Wu Xiao attacked with Primordial Power. His palm strike forced Lin Feng backward without injuring him. Embarrassed by his failure to establish authority, he released his Qi Sea Realm aura to intimidate Lin Feng and undermine his state of mind 13.
Defeat and Expulsion
Wu Xiao escalated to the Wind-Splitting Palm, but the exchange left his own hand throbbing while Lin Feng remained uninjured. After Lin Feng activated the Black Iron Battle Body, Wu Xiao recognized it as a divine ability. Fearing future retaliation, he decided to kill Lin Feng before he could grow stronger 14.
Neither his Primordial Power-infused sword thrust nor his strongest technique, Traceless Sword, overcame Lin Feng’s defenses. Lin Feng knocked his blade aside, broke bones with a punch to his chest, and repeatedly battered him through the air. Huang Wei’s arrival interrupted the beating 14 15.
Wu Xiao then accused Lin Feng of disrespecting his elders and attacking others, hoping to save himself. Huang Wei instead struck him in the mouth with Primordial Power, knocking out several teeth. The dean subsequently ordered his cultivation crippled and expelled him for violating the teachers’ code of conduct. Wu Xiao fainted, regretting both his intervention for Chen Wen and his hostility toward Lin Feng 15 16.
Personality
Wu Xiao favors powerful connections over impartial treatment of students. He attacks Lin Feng without investigating the dispute, presenting his actions as discipline while seeking to please Chen Ao. His willingness to target Lin Feng rests partly on the belief that an orphan can be crippled without consequences 13 14.
His pride gives way to fear when his authority and strength fail him. He first escalates out of embarrassment, then attempts murder after recognizing Lin Feng’s potential. Once defeated, he abandons that ambition and tries to shift blame to preserve his own life 13 14 15.
